Hernandez Returns to the Ring This Saturday

STEP, TX (Februarie 14, 2018) – Mijlocie perspectivă, Marcos “Madman” Hernandez (11-1, 3 KO), returns to the ring this Saturday, Februarie 17, 2018, împotriva Jeison Rosario (14-1, 11 KO). The 8-round bout will take place at the Don Haskins Center on the UTEP campus in El Paso, Texas.

Here is what Marcos Hernandez has to say about his upcoming fight with Rosario…
On his current training camp…
“This is my third training camp out here in Riverside with my trainer Henry Ramirez, who took over the lead in my corner a few fights ago. It’s been great getting the proper sparring needed to take my career to the next level. I’m feeling strong and sharp. Everything has come together, and I’ll be at my best sâmbătă in El Paso.”
On facing opponent tough Jeison Rosario…
“Rosario is a very tough opponent who possesses a lot of power in both hands. He likes to go for the knockout, so I will have to be ready for everything he’s coming with. I know he’s hungry but so am I. This will be a fight for the fans, as we are both going to leave everything in the ring.”
On what a victory will do for his career…
“A win against Rosario will get me one step closer to my ultimate goal of fighting for a world title. I’ve been in tough fights since I turned pro and its prepared me for fights like the one I’m in now. I’m ready step it up and show the world I have what it takes to be an elite fighter, and a world champion.”
On fighting on another big PBC card in El Paso…
“I’m sure El Paso will have a lively crowd attending sâmbătă. I know there will be a lot of Mexican’s in the house, so I must represent my people. I’m very happy to be fighting on another big PBC card. It’s a blessing to be part of the PBC family and I promise to impress those that will be watching.”

În data 22, 2016, history was made in Puerto Rico’s professional boxing, when a female boxing match was the featured bout of the evening, held in the city of Trujillo Alto, where the four-time world champion in three divisions, Amanda ‘The Real Deal’ Serrano ( 28-1-1, 21 Lui KO ) defeated the number 6th ranked, Edina ‘DNA’ Kiss of Budapest, Hungary by TKO in the fourth round.
Just a week later, IBF featherweight world champion, Jennifer Han of El Paso, Texas, was also in a main event match in front of her people from El Paso, and defeated Colombian, Calixta Silgado via unanimous decision in a ten round fight.
“Cred că momentul este perfect!” Amanda Serrano said, “We both come from recent fights, both of us scored victories and are uninjured and in great condition. Women’s boxing and our fans deserve to see who is the best featherweight in a unification bout”.
Han ( 14-3-1, 1 Lui KO ) has fought her last four fights in her hometown of El Paso, Texas.
“It’s funny because a few weeks ago I had my first fight in Puerto Rico, and have fought in the United States, Elveția, Argentina and Dominican Republic. True Champions often leave their comfort zone to prove they are the real deal in boxing. Sunt mereu gata,” Said Serrano, who is the current WBO featherweight World Champion.

STEP, TX (Iulie 19, 2015) – În primul său meci de 8-a rundă, neînvinsă senzație Super-Ușoară, Mario Barrios (10-0, 5 KO), navigat la o victorie împotriva sunet Arturo Esquivel (9-3, 2 KO), to record his tenth win. The impressive conquest took place this past Sâmbătă la Haskins Center Don în El Paso, Texas pe CCP pe eveniment CBS, headlined de Carl Frampton vs. Alejandro Gonzalez Jr.

 

Utilizarea înălțimea lui extraordinară și de a ajunge avantaj, Barrios controlled the action with a long jab and precise combinations. Esquivel, care a fost omul natural mai mare, nu a putut să aterizeze orice pumni curate pe Barrios, who won every round. Scorecards citite 80-72 peste granita.

 

“Mergând opt etape pentru prima dată a fost o experiență de învățare mare pentru mine.” Said Mario Barrios, care este gestionat de Al Haymon. “I was able to pace myself throughout the entire fight and never got tired. I could have gone four more rounds if this was a twelve round fight. Esquivel is a very tough fighter and I’m glad we both came out healthy. I’ll be ready to get back in the ring as soon as Haymon has another date for me. I’m very thankful for all the opportunities Haymon Boxing has given me.”
