NEF ANNOUNCES BIGGEST FIGHT CARD IT HAS EVER BROUGHT TO BANGOR

Bangoras, Meino (Rugpjūtis 24, 2018) - Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF) will hold its next mixed-martial-arts event, “NEF 35: Wicked Season,” rugsėjo 8 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. The exciting main event will feature two popular Bangor-area athletes doing battle as Jon Lemke (7-8) atitinka Aaronas “Nepaliaujamas” Lacey (5-2) in a lightweight contest. In another highly-anticipated professional fight, Kalebas salė (1-0) of the Choi Institute in Portland will face another Young’s MMA team member in the form of CJ ewer (3-1). After a successful amateur career that saw him capture the NEF Amateur Featherweight Title, Hall impressed with a first-round submission of veteran John Ortolani (8-12) earlier this year in his pro debut. Didelis ąsotis, a member of the United States Air Force security forces, closed out “NEF 30” last August in Bangor winning the promotion’s pro middleweight strap over Mike Hansen (5-9).

The amateur portion of the fight card will be headlined by a title fight as Paglostyti “PK” Kelly (4-0) puts both his lightweight belt and undefeated record on the line against the challenge of Ed Forlenza (2-2). Kelly, kurie kreipėsi 54 last week, is a legend of Maine wrestling mats as both a competitor and coach and a member of the Maine Amateur Wrestling Hall of Fame. He vows that this will be the final fight of his MMA career. Forlenza took the fight on short notice after Kelly’s previous challenger dropped out due to injury. He is a member of team Juniko based in Hyannis, Masačusetsas. Forlenza is no stranger to the NEF cage. He won his amateur debut at “NEF 23” in the summer of 2016 on Cape Cod.

Speaking of wrestling coaches, “NEF 35” will also feature the amateur debut of Shawn Costigan (0-0). Costigan is a member of the Bucksport High School wrestling coaching staff. He will represent Young’s MMA in his cage debut when he takes on the fellow-debuting David Hills (0-0).

Also on the amateur card will be the brother of CJ Ewer, Roger Ewer (1-0). A pharmacist by day, Roger made his amateur debut last year at “NEF 30” in Bangor with a second round technical knockout of Dustin Freeman (0-1). Į “NEF 35,” he will take on Jason Hanley (0-0) of Orchard Park Martial Arts in western New York state.

Hyannis, Masačusetsas (Gegužė 15, 2016) - Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF), Amerikos numeris vienas regioninis kova skatinimas, held its most recent event, “NEF 23: CAGE THE CAPE” on Saturday night at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center (HYCC) in Hyannis, Masačusetsas. The HYCC was at capacity for the first sanctioned mixed-martial-arts (MMA) show ever held on Cape Cod. The venue opened the upstairs walking track to give standing-room-only fans more elbow room. The crowd was electric all night for the eight-fight card presented by NEF.

 

Team Juniko, based out of Hyannis and Hanover, Masačusetsas, was a perfect 5-0 on the night. Fabian Miranda (3-0), Thomas Lee Davis, Jaunesnysis. (2-0), Ed Forlenza (1-0), ir Kylie O’Hearn (1-0) all picked up wins for the team on the amateur portion of the card.

 

It was O’Hearn’s bout with Angela Young (1-2) of Young’s MMA in Bangor, Maine that will be remembered for years to come by all in attendance. The two women battled back and forth for three grueling rounds before O’Hearn was declared the winner by unanimous decision on the judges’ veiklos rodikliais. The fight will be a serious contender for “Kova Metų” in the northeast by the time 2016 comes to an end.

 

Team Juniko member Brendan Battles (1-0) was victorious in the main event of the evening via technical knockout over Mike Hansenas (4-4). The bout was the pro debut for the native of Eastham, Massachusetts and standout wrestler from Nauset Regional High School. Battles rebounded from an early flurry by Hansen to get the referee stoppage aT 1:46 pirmojo turo.

Hyannis, Masačusetsas (Gegužė 11, 2016) - Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF), Amerikos numeris vienas regioninis kova skatinimas, atliks savo renginį, “NEF 23: CAGE THE CAPE” tai Šeštadienis, Gegužė 14, 2016 at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center in Hyannis, Masačusetsas. The event will be the first sanctioned mixed-martial-arts (MMA) show ever held on Cape Cod.
