Kom från Washington, D.C. med en obesegrad professionell register över 28-0 (15 KO: s), Hernandez-Harrison är antalet 15 rankade weltervikt i världen av WBC och regerande WBC Continental Americas weltervikt mästare. I main event, junior mellanvikt Thomas “Cornflake” Lamanna kommer att delta i en 6-runda bout mot veteranen Ayi Bruce.

Barrett från Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey är en populär figur runt Beach Haven / Long Beach Island området på grund av honom som en 6-tiden MMA tungvikt.
Barrett har skaffat sig en fantastiskt MMA karriär men har alltid haft kliar att bli en boxare.

“När jag tog det första boxningsmatchen var det bara att göra det och att vara aktiv. Min huvudsakliga bakgrund var brottning, men varje gång det ringde jag ville bara kasta slag. År sedan skulle jag titta på The Contender och se hur boxarna beskrevs som professionella och respektfulla idrottare jämfört med några av de andra striderna dokusåpor av tiden. Jag började lära sig mer om historia och arv av boxning och blev mer och mer intresserad av sporten.”
“Jag var redan en etablerad MMA fighter när jag tog min första boxningsmatchen. Jag gick ut till Pittsburgh att träna för en andra boxning kamp men flera motståndare föll igenom och showen slutligen avbröts på grund av en snöstorm. Efter denna kamp föll igenom jag erbjöds ett annat MMA-match, för första gången på hwt, med en motståndare som avböjde att kämpa mig som en sista minuten ersättning mot honom på en kamp han var planerad till. Månader senare ringde han mig ut nu vill kämpa. Jag tog det ganska personligen så jag gick tillbaka till MMA att bekämpa honom och vann. Efter det började jag få en hel del erbjudanden att kämpa på hwt i MMA och sedan blev en 6 tid hwt mästare i fyra olika kampanjer, men ville ändå göra rutan igen.”
Barrett startade företaget H.I.T.M. Kampanjer, som står för historia In The Making, eftersom han var trött på att vänta på ett tillfälle i boxning, och även ville hjälpa andra fighters främja sina egna karriärer.
“Jag har offrat så mycket och engagerade mig så länge att jag kände att det var dags att ta kontroll över mitt eget öde. Oavsett hur hårt jag arbetar eller hur förberedda jag, Jag var alltid kvar väntar på ett tillfälle. Med min egen PR-företaget bort vänt. Jag kan nu kämpa på andra föreställningar, eller min egen och hålla mig aktiv. Jag började H.I.T.M. Kampanjer inte vara en promotor, men för att vara en fighter. Mitt fokus är helt på denna lördag, men i bakhuvudet Jag tänker redan på att främja en annan show. Detta är i grunden den mest central kampen i min karriär. Inte bara jag övergår tillbaka till boxningen, men det är min första kamp tillbaka från en skada till min hand som skulle ha slutade min karriär. “Jag ärligt talat inte har tänkt mycket på MMA. Jag vill verkligen hålla boxning, men jag har inte helt stänga dörren för MMA.
Barrett sade att en kämpe och en promotor har inte varit lätt som han ger sig ut på sin 2: a framträdande i ringen.
“Det har varit svårt handel med alla telefonsamtal, e-postmeddelanden, och planering, allt samtidigt som man försöker att förbereda sig för en kamp. Det har funnits tillfällen då jag gjorde min morgon cardio på och jag skulle vara på telefonen medan du tränar hantering av affärs. Som kampen närmade, Jag var tvungen att tvinga mig att ta mer tid att träna och förbereda mig. Det var svårt att vara fokuserad ibland eftersom min motståndare hålls förändras, och när den sista föll igenom och de nämnde Holdbrooks, Jag sa bara ja så jag kunde slåss.”
“Jag är hedrad över att ha talang vi har på det här kortet är att detta är vår första utställning. Jag känner mig välsignad att kämpa i min trädgård i Long Beach Island och detta bör vara en stor natt av åtgärder.”

Cotto Receives Honorary Title of “Athlete of the Year”
NEW YORK (Maj 26, 2015) – The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) today announced that its 2015 Parade, planerad till Söndag, Juni 14 on New York’s Fifth Avenue, will officially kick off a week of festivities with the WBC and Ring Magazine Middleweight World Championship fight between Miguel Cotto and Daniel Geale on Lördag, Juni 6, 2015 vid Barclays Center i Brooklyn. It was also announced that Miguel Cotto, Roc Nation Sports and Miguel Cotto Promotions will be making a contribution to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Fund.

Dessutom, to honor Cotto’s impressive athletic accomplishments spanning over a decade which include him becoming Puerto Rico’s first and only Four Division World Champion, the NPRDP has bestowed upon him the honorary title of “Athlete of the Year.”
“It’s a privilege for my June 6 fight against Daniel Geale at Barclays Center in Brooklyn to be named the official kick-off event of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Week and I want to express my deepest gratitude for being honored me as Athlete of the Year,” said Cotto. “New York is truly my second home because I have been embraced by its Puerto Rican community. The NPRDP established the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Awards Program to help promote the pursuit of higher education within the community. I 2015, the organization will double the total dollar figure and number of scholarships awarded from the previous year to 30 scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each. In celebration of the 2015 class of scholarship winners, Miguel Cotto, Roc Nation Sports and Miguel Cotto Promotions will be contributing $5,000 to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Fund in support of helping other high school and college students pay for their educations.
“The mission of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade is to create an awareness and appreciation of Puerto Rican contributions to the United States by holding an annual parade that displays the culture and diverse achievements of the Puerto Rican community and by supporting the higher education of our youth through our scholarship program,” said Ululy Rafael Martinez, Vice-Chair of NPRDP. “We are proud to honor Miguel Cotto as Athlete of the Year and express our deepest gratitude to Roc Nation Sports and Miguel Cotto Productions for contributing to our scholarship fund.”
Den 2015 National Puerto Rican Day Parade will take place on Söndag, Juni 14, från 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
