Na dat die stryd deur die mat geval ek 'n ander MMA stryd aangebied, vir die eerste keer by WWB, met 'n teenstander wat geweier het om te veg vir my as 'n laaste minuut plaasvervanger teen hom op 'n stryd wat hy was geskeduleer vir. Maande later het hy my nou uit wil om te veg. Ek het daardie eerder persoonlik so ek gaan terug na MMA hom te veg en wen. Daarna het ek begin om 'n baie van die aanbiedings om te veg by WWB in MMA en sedertdien het 'n 6 tyd WWB Kampioen oor vier verskillende promosies, nog steeds wou weer boks.”
Barrett het die maatskappy H.I.T.M. Promosies, wat staan vir geskiedenis in wording, omdat hy moeg van wag vir 'n geleentheid in die boks was, en wou ook om te help ander vegters bevorder hul eie loopbane.
“Ek het so baie myself geoffer en toegewyde vir so lank dat ek gevoel dat dit tyd was om beheer van my eie lot. Ek kan nou veg ander programme, of my eie en hou myself aktiewe. Ek het begin H.I.T.M. Promosies nie om 'n promotor wees, maar om 'n vegter te wees. My fokus is heeltemal aan hierdie Saterdag, maar in die agterkant van my gedagtes Ek reeds te dink oor die bevordering van 'n ander show. Dit is basies die mees deurslaggewende stryd in my loopbaan. Ek is nie net die oorgang na boks, maar dit is my eerste stryd terug van 'n besering aan my hand wat my loopbaan moes geëindig. Op die top van dat, Dit is die eerste wys my maatskappy het ooit bevorder. Ek het gevoel dat die hou van hierdie stryd in Beach Haven was 'n goeie manier om iets anders en spesiaal vir die plaaslike gemeenskap te doen en om terug na 'n plek wat ek so baie van gekry gee.”

“Ek het eerlik nie veel gedink oor MMA. Ek wil werklik te boks hou, maar ek het nie heeltemal die deur toegesluit op MMA.

The NPRDP established the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Awards Program to help promote the pursuit of higher education within the community. In 2015, the organization will double the total dollar figure and number of scholarships awarded from the previous year to 30 scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each. In celebration of the 2015 class of scholarship winners, Miguel Cotto, Roc Nation Sports and Miguel Cotto Promotions will be contributing $5,000 to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Fund in support of helping other high school and college students pay for their educations.
