Pound-4-Pound Boxing Program sends 2017 USA Boxing Elite and Youth National Championships and Junior Open

LAS VEGAS, NV (Δεκέμβριος 4, 2017) – Eight members from the “Pound-4-Pound” γυμναστήριο, Λας Βέγκας’ # 1 amateur boxing program, will compete in the 2017 USA Boxing Elite Youth National Championships & Junior Open. The five-day tournament will take place in Salt Lake City, ΕΞΩ, at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, more commonly known as the Salt Palace, starting December 5ου through December 9ου.
Only the best boxers from around the United States will compete to see who is the best amateur boxer in the nation. Όλα 15 και 16 year-olds who win this tournament will make the USA Boxing Team. All others will be ranked #1 in their respective weight classes.
“This is the big tournament that our team has been waiting to participate in,” said Pound-4-Pound head coach Richard Barrientes. “Only the elite amateur fighters from around the country will be competing. All my kids have worked extremely hard to get here. I’m very proud of this group and everyone knows what it’s going to take to come out on top. LAS VEGAS, NV (Ιούνιος 28, 2017) – The Pound-4-Pound Boxing program out of Las Vegas, had another successful outing this past weekend at the Roy Jones Jr. “Future Stars of Boxing” tournament that took place at the Sam’s Town Casino in Las Vegas. Out of the 15 active participants, 11 came home with championship belts.
“Our program had another fantastic showing this past weekend,” said coach Richard Barrientes. “Όπως έλεγα πάντα, it’s about building self-esteem with these kids. They’re a great group from top to bottom. I’m very proud of our team and we are looking forward to the next tournament. Our main goal is to enter in as many tournaments as possible before the end of the year.”

LAS VEGAS, NV (Ιούνιος 14, 2017) – Αυτό το παρελθόν Σάββατο, ο “Pound-4-Pound” boxing gym out of Las Vegas, sent 15 boxers to the 6th Annual Southern California State Championships, in Menifee, Καλιφόρνια. Out of the 15 who participated, 9 brought home belts and were crowned champions.
“It was a very successful weekend for our program,” said head coach Richard Barrientes. “Everyone gave it their all and we came home with 9 belts. I’m very proud of all our boys and girls who participated, even those who didn’t bring home titles. Boxing is a great sport and its teaching these kids the valuable lessons of hard work. The goal for this program is to build young leaders who will always take account for their actions.”
