“Mes objectifs pour 2018 sont de capturer plus de titres et pour obtenir des épisodes d'unification. Nous avons eu quelques champions dans la catégorie de poids, mais il semble que personne ne soit prêt à se battre les autres champions. “Ma préparation pour ce combat va très bien. Je travaille en République Dominicaine, mais je suis revenu à Boston pour terminer ma formation. En ce moment, nous sommes à 75% et de fermeture sur 100%. “Je préfère mes adversaires pour être plus grand. Il joue dans ce que je suis capable de faire. Je ne l'ai jamais eu un problème avec plus grands adversaires. Cotto Abner (5-10) est l'un des grands gaillards que je me suis battu. Je me suis battu à Chicago et mis sur une grande performance. (Fortuna a marqué un 5e tour KO contre Cotto)
“Mon objectif pour 2018 est de lutter contre tous les meilleurs combattants d'élite dans ma classe de poids, et je suis en train de devenir mentionné comme l'un des meilleurs dans le sport. Felipe Gomez will now be managing the career of Russ, who hails from Wilmington, Caroline du Nord. “You’re going to see the same Errol Spence that you’re used to. I can’t look ahead because I know how dangerous Lamont Peterson is. I’ve been in training camps with him and I know what he can do.
“I’ve seen too many fighters look down the road and get beat before they get to the big fight. I have to be 100 percent focused and hungry. I’m fully dedicated to this fight.
“Lamont can push me to even greater levels. I feel like he is a better fighter than Kell Brook and has even more heart than Kell Brook and he can bring out the best in me.
“I think it’s going to start out as a boxing match, but as we go on, it’s going to be a dog fight. We both have big hearts. I’ve never known Lamont to turn down any fight. Not a lot of people wanted to fight me. The big names shied away from me but Lamont stood up and said he’d fight me. Ça va être un dur combat.
“I used to watch Lamont and his brother Anthony Peterson before I ever met them. I like their styles, the way they throw body punches and the fundamentals that they learned from Barry Hunter.

“This is a world title fight and I’m thankful for that. I try not to make too much out of each fight. I just want to take it one fight at a time. I’ve done this for 13 years as a professional. All fights are the same. I’m going to go in there and take care of business.
“As a top fighter, you’re obligated to take what comes on the table. Regardless of who it is. Il boxe. It’s a sport and we’re competitors. We want to go in there and compete to see who’s the best. We’re going to treat it like business like we always do.

(Octobre. 13, 2017) – Undefeated two-time junior middleweight world champion, Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade chimed in on his upcoming 12 round middleweight bout with undefeated Alantez Fox when he makes his return to HBO® that will take place on Samedi, 21 octobre de Turning Stone Resort Casino à Verona, New York.
The bout will be the live co-feature of an HBO Boxing After Dark tripleheader card that will feature Jazreel Corrales defending the WBA World Super Featherweight Title against undefeated Alberto Machado and Ryan Burnett taking on Zhanat Zhakiyanov (delay à bande) in a Bantamweight Unification Bout. The HBO telecast will begin at 10:05 p.m. ET/PT.
The Corrales vs. Machado bout is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.
The Andrade – Fox bout is promoted by Banner Promotions, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and A-Team Promotions, in association with DiBella Entertainment.
Andrade has been training at the Big 6 Gym in his native Providence, and he is ready to make a statement on 21 octobre.
“Its me again! Camp is going well. I’m getting some quality tall guys for sparring and working on implementing my gameplan for the fight. I’m on schedule weight wise, and feeling good. The bout will be the live co-feature of an HBO Boxing After Dark tripleheader card that will feature Jazreel Corrales defending the WBA World Super Featherweight Title against undefeated Alberto Machado and Ryan Burnett taking on Zhanat Zhakiyanov (delay à bande) in a Bantamweight Unification Bout. Mashantucket, CT (Septembre 16, 2017) – Undefeated Irishman Niall “Boom Boom” Kennedy won a controversial 10-round split decision versus defending champion Alexis Santos to capture the New England heavyweight championship in last night’s (Samedi) main event of Broadway de boxe held in Fox Theater, au Foxwoods Resort Casino, à Mashantucket, CT.
