Ruben Villa Returns Headlines Thompson Boxing Event on April 15th
ONTARIO, COMME (Mars 16, 2022) – Returning after his first chance at a world title, Thompson Boxing’s plume prétendante Ruben “Drac” Villa (18-1, 5 KOs), who is co-promoted with Promotions Banner, fera son 2022 debut as he headlines Thompson Boxing’s “Path To Glory” event on Friday, Avril 15, 2022. “I have fallen in love with the sport of boxing once again, the year or so I was out, I focused on all the things I need to improve on,” said Villa in the comforts of his newly remodeled gym in Salinas, Californie. “I have always said I want to bring a world title fight to Salinas, and that is still the goal. Michael Dutchover vs. Manuel Mendez Headline 3.2.1. Boxing Card on November 1st

ORANGE, COMME (Octobre 1, 2020) - Thompson Boxing Promotions is pleased to present the newest installment of its successful boxing series 3.2.1 Boxe featuring three exciting-and-compelling bouts, live on Sunday, November 1st, 2020. Ruben Villa to take on Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO World Featherweight Title on Friday, 9 octobre

PHILADELPHIA, PA/ / ORANGE, COMME. (Sept. 21, 2020) – Le vendredi soir, 9 octobre, undefeated WBO number-two ranked featherweight contender Villa Ruben (18-0, 5 KOs) gets his much deserved world title shot when he takes on former WBO super bantamweight world champion, and WBO number-one ranked contender, Emanuel Navarrete (32-1, 28 KOs), in a battle for the WBO World Featherweight title.


Navarrete is undefeated in the last eight-years, which spans 27 combats.


The fight will take place at “The Bubble” inside the MGM Grand Conference Center, and will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

Banner Promotions Signs Undefeated Heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez to a Co-Promotional Deal with United Promotions

Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie. – Février 11, 2020 – Banner Promotions has signed undefeated heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez to a co-promotional deal with United Promotions.


Gutierrez, 27 years-old of Torreon Coahuila de Zaragoza, Le Mexique a un record de 12-0-1 avec 10 KO.


“We are happy to bring Isaac to Banner Promotions. He is a very good prospect that was brought to my attention by Don MacDonald of United Promotions. I have seen him and he has good power. Michael Néerlandais Plus (12-0, 9 KOs) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Californie. (Novembre. 18, 2018) – Junior léger Michael Néerlandais Plus (12-0, 9 KOs) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KOs) in the third round Friday night from the Hôtel Doubletree en Ontario, Californie.

 

 

 

Pays-Bas Plus, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

 

 

 

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

 

 

 

Dans la troisième, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

 

 

 

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 marque.

 

 

 

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” Ledit Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Promotions Banner et Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. I’m looking forward to another great year in 2019.”

Brandon Adams domine Shane Mosley Jr. pour remporter le championnat Contender

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(Novembre 9, 2018)-Brandon Adams was dominant in pounding Shane Mosley Jr. over 10-rounds to win a wide unanimous decision and claim The Contender championship at the Forum in Inglewood, Californie.

 

 

 

Dans le deuxième tour, Adams landed some solid shots with both hands on the inside. Adams continued to land the quick accurate punches through the first half of the fight. Adams in-and-out punching had Mosley thinking more than punching.

 

 

 

Dans six rondes, Adams started to pick up the tempo, and landed a series of power punches with both hands. Adams featured several hard rights and ripping uppercuts. Au deuxième tour de sept, Adams continued to land flush punches and hurt Mosley with each connect. Mosley was cut over his left eye in the 7th frame. Adams continued his dominance down the stretch and won by scores of 100-90 deux fois et 99-91.

 

 

 

“My camp, everybody helped me. They pushed me. All of the combatants were tough. They pushed me, and they helped me reach new heights.,” said Adams in the ring after the fight.

Bannière Promotions signes invaincue légère Mohamed Soumaoro

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(Novembre 8, 2018)–Banner Promotions a signé son 2ème invaincue cette semaine légère que la société de promotion a signé Mohamed Soumaoro.

 

 

 

Le 25 ans Soumaoro est de Montréal, Canada par voie de Conakry, Guinée et La Havane, Cuba.

 

 

 

Il a amassé un dossier professionnel de 6-0 avec trois KO.

 

 

 

Ayant grandi à La Havane en tant que jeune, il aimait la marche, jouer au football, aller à l'école et l'apprentissage. Pendant ce temps, il a été présenté au karaté et le taekwondo. Il n'a pas poursuivi ces sports parce que 2008, il a déménagé à Blainville, Québec à vivre avec sa sœur. Il était tout en regardant la télévision qu'il a découvert un intérêt pour la boxe.

 

 

 

Après une carrière amateur 53 combat, il est devenu professionnel en Avril 8, 2017 avec un 1er arrêt sur Antonio Vergara tour.

 

 

 

Soumaoro a continué son succès comme il l'a fait deux départs cette année. Dans son dernier combat, il a arrêté Ramon Urbina au premier tour le 15 Septembre à Managua, Nicaragua.

 

 

 

Il se considère comme counterpuncher comme il est fortement influencé par le futur Hall of Famer, Juan Manuel Marquez.

 

 

 

“J'ai commencé la boxe à l'âge 15 après avoir vu des combats à la télévision. J'ai commencé à se battre un peu dans les rues quand j'étais en Guinée,” Ledit Soumaoro.

Banner Promotions signs undefeated Lightweight Golden Garcia

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(Novembre 6, 2018)–Banner Promotions is proud to announce the signing of undefeated lightweight, Golden Garcia to a promotional contract.

 

 

 

Garcia, 30 years-old of Montreal, Canada, a un dossier de 11-0-1 with six-knockouts.

 

 

 

Garcia began boxing at the age of 12 when he walked in to a gym to get in shape.

 

 

 

“I got into a few scraps in the street, so it was nice to go to a place where fighting was allowed,” a déclaré Garcia.

 

 

 

Garcia had about 60 combats amateurs, where he competed at 130 livres.

 

 

 

Garcia turned professional on June 28, 2014 with a 2nd round stoppage over Michael Gargouri in Quebec, Canada. He has fought all of his bouts in Canada, which included a win over Oscar Mejia (10-2-1).

 

 

 

Dans son dernier combat, Garcia stopped Adalberto Borquez on March 24th in Montreal.

 

 

 

Garcia is a pressure fighter that throws a high volume of punches and tries to overwhelm his opponents. Garcia prides himself for his endurance and he believes that the longer the fight goes, mieux il est.

 

 

 

“This is a great opportunity for me to step up. I will get better chances to show off my skills, and being with Banner Promotions can help me get farther in my career then I could imagine,” a déclaré Garcia. “I am looking forward to this partnership, and together we will do big things.”

Banner Promotions signs former Olympian Naim Terbunja

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(Novembre 6, 2018)–Banner Promotions is proud to announce the signing of former Olympian and current super middleweight Naim Terbunja.

 

 

 

Terbunja of Linkoping, Sweden by way of Pristina, Kosovo, represented Sweden in the 2008 Jeux olympiques. He currently holds a professional record of 10-2-1 avec un KO.

 

 

 

Le 34 year-old Terbunja began boxing at the age of 14, as he was a young soccer player looking to get stronger. Terbunja took up boxing, and fell in love with the sport.

 

 

 

That sparked an amateur career that saw him go 200-36. Terbunja fought all over the world for the Swedish National team, and then to the 2008 Olympics where he lost to Matt Korobov in the round of 36.

 

 

 

Terbunja moved to Long Island and spent part of his amateur career in the United States and captured the National Golden Gloves title in 2009 by defeating Luis Arias in the finals.

 

 

 

Terbunja turned professional on April 27, 2012 with a unanimous decision over Vladimir Spasojevic in Sweden. Terbunja has fought six times in Sweden and twice in Kosovo.

 

 

 

Terbunja has a 1st round stoppage over previously undefeated Joel De La Paz (7-0) sur Juillet 23, 2016.

 

 

 

Terbunja is coming off a disputed draw with regarded Lanell Bellows on May 11th in Las Vegas.

BRANDON ADAMS ADVANCES TO FINALS OF THE CONTENDER WITH DECISION OVER ERIC WALKER

ADAMS TO FACE SHANE MOSLEY JR. THIS FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE ON EPIX AT 10 PM ET

PHILADELPHIA / LOS ANGELES – Novembre 6, 2018 – Brandon Adams won a majority decision over Eric Walker to advance to the final of The Contender on EPIX®.

 

 

 

Adams dropped Walker in round four with a hard right-left combination and came through the hard fought contest by scores of 49-45, 48-46 et 47-47.

 

 

 

Adams, 20-2 avec 13 KO, will now advance to the finals, where he will take on Shane Mosley, Jr. (13-2, 8 KOs) au Forum à Inglewood, California this Friday night live on EPIX at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT.
