Granite Chin Promotion presents Thanksgiving Eve show “Championship Boxing at The Armory”

The originally scheduled headliner, three-time world title challenger Aleksandra Magziak Lopes (18-4-3, 1 KO), withdrew when she accepted a world title shot Dec. 8 Carson, Kalifornija, against undisputed World welterweight champion Cecelia “Pirmoji ledi” Braekhus (34-0, 9 Kos) in the main event on HBO.
Many of New England’s most talented and popular boxers will still be in action this Wednesday evening. GCP co-promoter Chris Traietti (26-4, 21 Kos), fighting out of Quincy (MA), will defend his New England cruiserweight title against challenger Nick Lavin (5-9, 4 Kos), of Shelton (KT), in the new eight-round main event.
The 33-year-old Traietti, an Iraq War veteran and college graduate, defeated the heavy-handed Lavin by way of an eight-round unanimous decision August 5, 2017 for the N.E. pavadinimas.
“As disheartening as it was to lose Aleks on this show,” Traietti said, “we are thrilled she’s getting a career defining opportunity on HBO. She’s worked hard for the opportunity and we wish her the best of luck December 8th.

The wildly popular Lopes (18-4-3, 1 KO), fighting out of Marshfield, MA, is a native of Poland. She hasn’t fought since last December due to injuries suffered in a car accident. Lopes will face
Missouri welterweight Ashleigh Curry (7-11-4, 1 KO) in the six-round main event.

DERRY, N.H. (Balandis 8, 2018) — The official weigh in was held today for tomorrow (Šeštadienis) evening’s “Fight Night at the Zone,” presented by Granite Chin Promotions, at The Sportszone in Derry, Naujasis Hampšyras.

New England cruiserweight champion Chris Traietti (26-4, 21 Kos), also the co-promoter, pounded “Jammin” James Morrow (12-23-3, 5 Kos) from pillar to post until referee Leo Gerstel halted the action in their non-title fight for a third-round technical knockout.
Irish junior welterweight Paddy McGee, fighting out of Dorchester, MA, landed only two punches in his pro debut, both flooring Bardraiel Smith (0-4), for a quick first-round knockout.
Stoughton, MA pussvoris Travisas “Outlaw” Demko (6-1, 1 KO) outclassed Paul DeSouza (0-11), of Somerville, pitching a six-round shutout decision.

QUINCY, Mišios. (Balandis 2, 2018) — This Saturday night’s “Fight Night at The Zone”, presented by Granite Chin Promotions, has been strengthened by the late addition of hot prospect Irvin Gonzalez to a card already showcasing some of the best young, professional boxers in New England.
Granite Chin Promotions is on a mission to establish a fan-base in the Granite State, providing a fan friendly, full entertainment experience at The Sports Zone in Derry, Naujasis Hampšyras.

Irvin, Richie and Omar are starting to get national attention and New Hampshire fans are getting an early look at them. The veteran fighters on this show have a lot to fight for as well. ”

QUINCY, Mišios. (Rugpjūtis 6, 2017) – Former New England welterweight champion Derek “The Surgeon” Silveira defeated former world title challenger Michaelas “Šaltakraujiškai” Clark last night (Pn, Rugpjūtis. 5) į “Fight Night at the Bay” Pagrindinis įvykis, presented by Granite Chin Promotions, at Marina Bay Sportplex in Quincy, Masačusetsas.

“I want to thank Michael Clark,” Silveria commented. “My buddy Martin passed away and this fight was for him. We’re back and can go as long as needed because I’m in better shape. I’m a smart fighter and I can counter guys. I hope to be back fighting Rugsėjis 30in Boston.”

“It’s tough to judge,” said the Polish native who lives in nearby Marshfield (MA) regarding her position for another world title shot opportunity. “Tikiuosi, kad taip. “I’m always tough on myself, Wayne (Lopez, her trainer and husband) was happy. I feel that I should have taken it to her more and I got caught up in clinches too much. The heat was difficult, I felt heated before the fight. I was more tired than usual and I let her come in winging wild punches.”

Iraq War veteran and Quincy’s favorite son, Chris Traietti (24-4, 19 Kos), who is also co-promoter of “Fight Night at the Bay”, pounded Nick Lavin (5-6, 4 Kos) from the opening bell to capture the vacant New England Cruiserweight Championship by way of a decisive eight-round unanimous decision. Traietti teed-off on the over-matched Lavin for most of the fight, but his tough Connecticut opponent lasted to the very end.

O’Han, Jaunesnysis. decked Amaro twice in the first round via perfectly placed left hooks but Amaro persevered and went the full distance.
Undefeated Irish junior middleweight Paddy Irwin (4-0, 3 Kos), fighting at home in Quincy, methodically broke-down Demetrius Thomas (0-5), dropping him with a right hand in the second round, and floored him with a flurry of punches en route to a third-round stoppage only moments later by referee Ryan.
Two-time Ecuador Olympian Carlos Gongora (9-0, 8 Kos), kovoti iš Bruklino (NY), thoroughly outclassed Texas journeyman Larry “Slow Motion” Kalvis (10-34-1, 7 Kos)by way of a fifth-round technical knockout.
