Granite Chin Promotion presents Thanksgiving Eve show “Championship Boxing at The Armory”

QUINCY, Massa. (November 19, 2018) – A major change has been made to this Wednesday night’s (November. 21) “Championship Boxing at The Armory” kartu, presented by Granite Chin Promotions (GCP) on Thanksgiving Eve, at the National Guard Armory (70 Victory Road) in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
The originally scheduled headliner, three-time world title challenger Aleksandra Magziak Lopes (18-4-3, 1 KO), withdrew when she accepted a world title shot Dec. 8 di Carson, California, against undisputed World welterweight champion Cecelia “Ibu Negara” Braekhus (34-0, 9 Biaya) in the main event on HBO.
Many of New England’s most talented and popular boxers will still be in action this Wednesday evening. GCP co-promoter Chris Traietti (26-4, 21 Biaya), fighting out of Quincy (MA), will defend his New England cruiserweight title against challenger Nick Lavin (5-9, 4 Biaya), of Shelton (CT), in the new eight-round main event.
The 33-year-old Traietti, an Iraq War veteran and college graduate, defeated the heavy-handed Lavin by way of an eight-round unanimous decision August 5, 2017 for the N.E. judul.
“As disheartening as it was to lose Aleks on this show,” Traietti said, “we are thrilled she’s getting a career defining opportunity on HBO. She’s worked hard for the opportunity and we wish her the best of luck December 8th.

The wildly popular Lopes (18-4-3, 1 KO), fighting out of Marshfield, MA, is a native of Poland. She hasn’t fought since last December due to injuries suffered in a car accident. Lopes will face

Kelas welter junior Irlandia Paddy McGee, fighting out of Dorchester, MA, landed only two punches in his pro debut, both flooring Bardraiel Smith (0-4), for a quick first-round knockout.
Stoughton, MA kelas welter Travis “The Outlaw” Demko (6-1, 1 KO) outclassed Paul DeSouza (0-11), of Somerville, pitching a six-round shutout decision.

QUINCY, Massa. (Bulan April 2, 2018) — This Saturday night’s “Fight Night at The Zone”, presented by Granite Chin Promotions, has been strengthened by the late addition of hot prospect Irvin Gonzalez to a card already showcasing some of the best young, professional boxers in New England.
Granite Chin Promotions is on a mission to establish a fan-base in the Granite State, providing a fan friendly, full entertainment experience at The Sports Zone in Derry, New Hampshire.
Gonzalez (8-0, 7 Biaya), bertarung di Worcester, MA, adalah 2015 Juara New England Golden Gloves, who qualified for the 2016 Ujian Olimpiade. The 21-year-old featherweight prospect will face Mexican Francisco “El Mono” Medal (12-12, 8 Biaya) dalam enam putaran pertarungan.

Irvin, Richie and Omar are starting to get national attention and New Hampshire fans are getting an early look at them. The veteran fighters on this show have a lot to fight for as well. ”

QUINCY, Massa. (Bulan Agustus 6, 2017) – Former New England welterweight champion Derek “The Surgeon” Silveira defeated former world title challenger Michael “Darah dingin” Clark last night (Sat., Agustus. 5) dalam “Fight Night at the Bay” acara utama, presented by Granite Chin Promotions, at Marina Bay Sportplex in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Silveira (12-1, 6 Biaya), of Salem MA) used his height and length advantage to out-box the much more experienced Clark (44-16-1, 18 Biaya). Due to what appeared to be a broken right hand, Clark was unable to continue after six rounds.
Setelah pertarungan, Silveira got done on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Ashley Myers. (She accepted).
“I want to thank Michael Clark,” Silveria commented. “My buddy Martin passed away and this fight was for him. We’re back and can go as long as needed because I’m in better shape. I’m a smart fighter and I can counter guys. I hope to be back fighting Bulan September 30in Boston.”

I respect her but I felt that I should implement my sharper skills. She fought hard and came at me. I thought she’d go flat in the later rounds but she didn’t.
“I’m always tough on myself, Wayne (Lopes, her trainer and husband) was happy. I feel that I should have taken it to her more and I got caught up in clinches too much. The heat was difficult, I felt heated before the fight. I was more tired than usual and I let her come in winging wild punches.”

Iraq War veteran and Quincy’s favorite son, Chris Traietti (24-4, 19 Biaya), who is also co-promoter of “Fight Night at the Bay”, pounded Nick Lavin (5-6, 4 Biaya) from the opening bell to capture the vacant New England Cruiserweight Championship by way of a decisive eight-round unanimous decision. Traietti teed-off on the over-matched Lavin for most of the fight, but his tough Connecticut opponent lasted to the very end.
DIRI KITA. Marine veteran Brandon Montella (8-0, 7 Biaya) tetap tak terkalahkan, registering three knockdowns against his Floridian opponent, kelas berat ringan “Uang” Mike Sawyer (7-9, 5 Biaya), di babak kedua, as referee Mike Ryan called the fight off right before the bell.
