 LAS VEGAS (November 10, 2016) – Another solid top-to-bottom “Knockout Night at the D card has been announced for Fredag natt, November 18, vädring (9 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. OCH) på CBS Sports Network live from inside the Downtown Las Vegas Events Centertent.

The television opens with undefeated Las Vegas junior lightweight prospect Randy Moreno (6-0, 5 Kos) in his first scheduled 6-round bout against Mexican veteran Daniel Perales (7-5-1, 4 Kos)
Keeping with its goal to showcase young talent based in Las Vegas, junior flyweight Marina “Rocky” Ramirez (2-0), fighting out of Idaho, meets the Bronx’ Natalie Gonzalez (2-0), while pro-debuting cruiserweight Jason Beauchamp faces Puerto Rican Kenny Cruz-Carrasquillo (0-2-1), in a pair of 4-round bouts.

LAS VEGAS (Oktober 27, 2016) – “Knockout Night at the D” returns Friday night, November 18, vädring levande (9 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. OCH) på CBS Sports Network from inside the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center tent, located in the heart of the downtown Las Vegas casino district, one block away from the world famous Fremont Street (200 S. 3rd St.).

The 29-year-old Blanco, fighting out of the Dominican Republic by way of Puerto Rico, captured his NABA US title belt this past January, taking an 8-round unanimous decision from previously unbeaten Angel Luis Ocasio (8-0-2). In his last fight in July, Blanco stopped another undefeated challenger, 14-0 Mario Beltre, in the second round for the Dominican Republic lightweight championship.
New Orleans-native Brock, who learned how to box serving a 15-year prison sentence, besegrade Chuy Gutierrez (14-0-1) in the June 10th “Knockout Night at the D” show to retain his World Boxing Council (WBC) United States lightweight title in his first title defense. Brock, 35, originally captured his title belt in 2015, by way of an 8-round unanimous decision over Oscar Valenzuela (9-1-1).
I 8-runda co-feature, Puerto Rican junior middleweight Daniel “El Duro” Kors(11-1, 10 Kos) takes on former Mexico welterweight champion Norberto Gonzalez(22-8, 13 Kos).
Kors, who has knocked out 10 av hans 11 victims, is the reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latino junior middleweight champion having captured that vacant title in his last fight (Juli 17, 2015), stoppa Aaron Garcia (14-3-1) in the second round in Florida.
Always dangerous Gonzalez is a proven upset specialist with victories against 30-3 Javier Francisco Maciel (DEC8), 20-1 Michael Oliveira (DEC10), 18-2 Antonio Arras (DEC10), och 22-3-1 Joel Juarez (DEC6).

Brock dominates Gutierrez in heated fight To retain WBC United States lightweight title OFFICIAL RESULTS

“What a night we had downtown,” sa Derek Stevens, Owner and CEO of the D Las Vegas and DLVEC. “I want to thank the Nevada Athletic Commission for allowing us to do these fights outdoors. I want to shout out to Chuy and Brock,,,..what fighters! Let’s keep this going downtown.”
Brock, fighting out of New Orleans, learned to box in Louisiana State Penitentiary, where he served nearly 15 år, sentenced as an adult at 15 for armed robbery. The determined lightweight controlled the pace and consistently beat hometown favorite Gutierrez to the punch all night. Gutierrez, a tough Mexican who lives in Las Vegas, showed the heart of a champion, albeit in a losing effort to a fresher Brock.
“I think I put on a great performance,” Brock commented after the fight. “I came out to give my best effort. We trained to fight inside to fight Chuy, not box, to make him uncomfortable in a fight he’s not used to. I won this fight on the inside. No backing up for 10 hårda rundor. We prepared that way because we knew Chuy was going to come in throwing shots. But he’d never fought anybody of my caliber. I was looking to finish him but I didn’t want to get careless.”
In a battle of unbeaten junior middleweight, Mexican invader Rolando “Rola” Garza (9-0, 6 Kos) och US. Marine Corps veteran Erasmo “The Reckoning” Garcia (5-1-1, 3 Kos) put on a show in the televised co-feature. All they really needed was a phone booth as the two warriors pounded each other from the opening bell, although Garza got the much better of the action for the first four rounds, buzzing Garcia at the end of the fourth. The game Garcia came back in the fifth, despite suffering a lot of damage from a relentless attack by Garza, who simply outclassed his overmatched opponent with his technical boxing skills. Garza, who was deducted a point for throwing a low blow in the fifth round, won a unanimous 6-round decision in a firefight.
“We worked the body and, thank God, vann kampen,” Garza noted. “Han är en tuff, unbeaten guy. We came here and did it. Viva Las Vegas!”
I tv-öppnaren, Las Vegas welterweight prospect Jeremy “J-Flash” Nichols (5-0. 2 Kos) dominated previously unbeaten Adam Vasquez (5-1-1). The flashy Nichols dropped Vasquez twice in the final round to win a 4-round unanimous decision by scores of 40-34 tre gånger.
Nichols won his third fight in the last three months, “I can go next week,” Nichols said after the fight. “He was tall fighter who was undefeated. He didn’t come here to lose. I take my hat off to him because I hit him with some great shots. He is a tough guy with a big heart. I had to do the Ali Shuffle in the first round because he was my favorite fighter.”
Los Angeles heavyweight Johnathan “Johnnie” Rice (4-1, 2 Kos), a former Winthrop College (NC) basketspelare, upset 4-time Mexican National amateur champion Edgar “El Chato” Ramirez (1-1, 1 KO), pitching a shutout for a unanimous 4-round decision.
Las Vegas junior featherweight Max “Baby Face Assassin” Ornelas (1-0, 1 KO de an auspices pro debut, one day after his high school graduation ceremony, one day prior to his 18th födelsedag. Ornelas dropped Robert “Lil’ Rob” Ledesma (1-5) midway through the first round. Ledesma rose but Ornelas hit him with a vicious left hook to the body, hurting Ledesma who turned his back and walked away in pain. Domare Jay Nady stepped in and halted the fight.
Tungviktare Tracey “The Titan” Johnson (4-2-4), Boston, and Los Angeles’Cashton “Fedia-Tone” Unga (2-1, 1 KO) set the stage in the opening fight of the evening. They stood toe-to-toe for most of the four rounds as Johnson, who has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Emmanuel College, won a 4-round split decision.

Gutierrez, a native of Mexico who fights out of Las Vegas, never lost his belt in the ring. The stage is set for this Las Vegas showdown, which is a crossroads fight in several ways with the winner climbing to the next level.
