Split-T Management signs amateur standout Eric Puente to management deal

NEW YORK (ספטמבר 7, 2018)–Boxing’s deepest management stable just got richer as Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of amateur standout Eric Puente to an exclusive management deal.

 

 

 

Puente, 19 years old of Vista, California by way of Sinaloa, Mexico will campaign in the lightweight division.

 

 

 

Puente started boxing at the age of eight years-old by his father/trainer, ג'ון.

 

 

 

He went on to win the 2016 National Youth Open Championship, and was a member of Team USA. Puente was a favorite to be a member of the 2020 United States Olympic Team.

 

 

 

Puente, who stand 5’8″ likens his style to a cross between Danny Garcia and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

 

 

 

“Boxing is everything to me! I live, eat and sleep boxing 24/7. NEW YORK (נִשׂגָב 10, 2018)–Undefeated Junior Middleweight prospect, Fred Wilson, ג 'וניור. (6-0, 2 קוס) returns to action when he takes on James Robinson in a six-round bout at The Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh.

 

The 23 year-old Wilson will be making his 1st start of the year, and the Cleveland native is taking on the 20 fight-veteran in Robinson. This will be the 8th undefeated opponent that Robinson has faced.

“I am ready to get out there, and put on a show,” said Wilson. “After the crowd sees me, I want the them to say that kid is special.”

“Cleveland is known for producing a lot of boxing talent, but many of those fighters never got an opportunity. When I scouted Fred as an amateur, he was as talented as they come. I told him and his dad, I will get him that opportunity, and Fred has not disappointed me as he has worked very hard in the gym and his record shows that by staying undefeated,” Said David McWater, CEO of Split-T Management

2016 United States Olympian, Charles Conwell remains perfect with 2nd round stoppage over Travis Scott in New Orleans

Conwell came out in round by hurting Scott with a flurry of punches on the ropes. Conwell ended things with a perfect left hook to the body that sent Scott to a knee for the ten count at 1:34.

בסיבוב הראשון, לופז זרק את סילבה עם וו שמאלי. סילבה דימם מהאף, בסיבוב חמישה, לופז הנחית כמה ווים קשים לסילבה העקוב מדם, ואז זרק את סילבה אל הבד בפינה.

לופז יצא בסיבוב השישי על ידי נחיתת שלושה קרסים שמאליים וימין שהפיל את סילבה והקרב הוכרז בשעה 15 שניות.

סילבה שהגיע עם שיא של 25-1, וההפסד היחיד היה לפליקס ורדחו ב-HBO, מעולם לא הופל לפני הלוחם המכונה “גורדו” הפיל אותו שלוש פעמים.

2017 National Golden Gloves champion Poindexter Knight, ג 'וניור. wins his Pro debut

ניו יורק (דצמבר, 11, 2017)–On December 1st, welterweight prospect Poindexter Knight, ג 'וניור. won his anticipated professional debut when he stopped Samuel Forjoe in the first round of their scheduled four-round bout at The Strand Ballroom and Theater in Providence, רוד איילנד.
The 2017 National Golden Gloves champion out of Philadelphia landed a hard combination the corner that had Forjoe bending over, and the bout was stopped in just 63 שניות.
Knight is the latest top-prospect to debut for Split-T Management, and he is promoted by Evander Holyfield’s Sports and Entertainment.
“Everything went well, I was excited and nervous, but I got through it,”said Knight.
“I thought my opponent would have a little more for me, but I did what I had to do in there and I got him out of there. It was great to get the knockout in my pro debut,” continued Knight.
Knight is eager to get his next victory, and he is looking to do in front of his hometown fans.
“I am hoping to fight in front of my hometown fans in 2018. That would be a goal for the upcoming year. I can’t wait as I am coming strong in 2018.”
Knight is trained by his father Poindexter Knight, SR, and the elder Knight was happy with his son’s performance.
“Poindexter looked relaxed, and it looked like it was his 10th fight. I am happy to be with Split-T Management. They gave us a chance when no one else did. We wanted to turn pro for a while and a lot of managers made a lot of broken promises. I put Poindexter back in the Golden Gloves, and he won, which opened a lot of doors,” Said Poindexter Knight, SR.
“Like my son said, I would like to see him get at least five fights for 2018. That will keep him sharp, and he will continue to learn. We had a great 1st fight, and we will continue to work hard and get better with each fight.”

Vargas of Kissimmee, Florida was the Flyweight representative for the 2016 מתגורר בארה"ב. צוות.
“I have known Split-T Management’s David McWater for several years. The people I know told me a lot of positive things about him. He showed me he was a good person and the man who can manage my career the way it should be,” סעיד ורגס.
Said Split-T Management’s David McWater, “Antonio is just a special kid. Of course he has all the talent and physical tools, but he is so much more than that. Vargas began boxing at age nine.

“I told my teacher that I was on medication but it was actually boxing that helped calm me down so I could focus on my studies and stay out of trouble.”
As Vargas grew older, boxing became more of a future then just an activity.
“I won a lot of state tournaments, but when I won the US Youth Open Tournament at age 16, I realized I could make boxing my career. I was undefeated for 4 שנים, which I won several gold medals at the National Golden Gloves, U.S National Championships and Pan American Games.”
Vargas believes that all of his international experience will help him in the pros because he was exposed to the many different styles of boxing, and now he is extremely motivated due to his Olympic experience.
“The Olympics did not go as I wanted. I lost to the eventual gold medal winner. The loss made me real hungry and now I train harder than I ever did before because I want to be the best.”
“I plan on turning professional as either a junior bantamweight or bantamweight and win world championships in four different weight divisions. I am going to achieve greatness while glorifying Jesus Christ and to spread his word.

Split-T Management signs World Amateur Sensation Marquis Moore; Set to make pro debut on tonight in Indianapolis
