Perrella ready for breakthrough performance June 4

Fort Myers, FL (Mai 24, 2016) – Welterweight Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella of Fort Myers, FL faces his toughest foe to date when he challenges Washington, DC’s David “Day Day” Grayton Saturday, Juin 4.
The anticipated ten round match up between unbeaten southpaws takes place at the Bell Centre in Montreal as part of a Premier Boxing Champions card on ESPN.
Both Perrella, 13-0 (12 KO), and Grayton, 14-0 (10 KO), were heralded amateurs that have been dominant thus far in the paid ranks. As is typically the case when two noteworthy prospects meet, the winner moves a step closer to contention while the fighter who falls short often has to climb back up the mountain.
With Grayton undefeated in his own right and also very hungry to advance his career by emerging victorious, Perrella’s taken his training to new heights. The 27-year-old has traveled throughout the Sunshine State for quality sparring and is strengthening his body by doing regular aquatic training. This has helped him remove weight properly so there won’t be any surprises on the scale. To further assist, Perrella hired a private chef to ensure he’s refueling his body properly.
Global, Perrella’s team is confident about the match up against Grayton and believes the hard work in the gym is an integral part why Bryant will have his hand raised June 4.

MONTRÉAL (Mai 18, 2016) – Candidat invaincu des poids lourds légers Artur Beterbiev (9-0, 9 KOs) affrontera le vétéran olympien argentin Ezequiel Maderna (23-2, 15 KOs) dans une confrontation en 12 rounds qui fait la une Premier Champions de boxe(PBC) survivre ESPN et ESPN Samedi, Juin 4 du Centre Bell à Montréal.
Couverture télévisée commence à 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT et présente un événement co-main passionnant qui voit deux prétendants invaincus en hausse entrer sur le ring en tant que Floride Bryant Perrella (13-0, 12 KOs) carrés contre Washington, D.C.'s David Grayton (14-0, 10 KOs) dans un combat welters de 10 rounds. “Je n’ai jamais été hors du ring depuis un an en tant qu’amateur ou professionnel donc j’ai hâte de me battre,” dit Beterbiev. “Nous avons regardé des cassettes de Maderna et il semble être un combattant complet. Nous serons prêts le 4 juin.”
“Je travaille très dur pour préparer ce combat,” dit Maderna. “Mon objectif est de mener un combat parfait qui sera très important pour mon avenir professionnel.”
“Je suis ravi d'avoir l'opportunité d'affronter un jeune lion invaincu qui cherche à devenir un champion du monde comme moi,” Saïd Perrella. “Nous travaillons tous les jours au camp d'entraînement. Nous avons de nouvelles choses sur lesquelles nous travaillons parce que nous savons qu’il va me frapper fort. Je suis prêt à boxer ou à me bagarrer. D'une manière ou d'une autre, Je viens en tête.”
“Je suis prêt à monter sur le ring et à faire une belle performance,” dit Grayton. “L’entraînement se passe bien et j’ai eu beaucoup de bons entraînements et de bons entraînements. Nous savons que nous avons un gaucher longiligne qui va être dur. Il s'agit de celui qui en veut le plus et je parie que j'aurai plus faim. Quand j'obtiens la victoire, Le ciel est la limite.”

Il s'est blessé à l'épaule, mais la chirurgie a tout arrangé. Nous prévoyons qu'il se bat trois fois en 2016. Nous voulons Sergey Kovalev d'ici la fin de l'année ou début 2017.”
Beterbiev retourne dans sa patrie d'adoption après les derniers combats en juin 2015 et se remettre d'une chirurgie de l'épaule. Un olympien russe à deux reprises, Beterbiev s'est battu hors de Montréal pour sa carrière professionnelle qui a débuté 2013. Le joueur de 31 ans a envoyé tous ses adversaires à distance, y compris des performances dominantes sur les anciens champions du monde Tavoris Cloud et Gabriel Campillo..
Maderna est devenue pro 2008 après avoir représenté son Argentine natale dans le 2008 Olympiques et était invaincu lors de sa première 19 se bat avant de perdre une décision étroite contre Edwin Rodriguez. Les deux défaites du joueur de 29 ans sont venues à des combattants invaincus et il entre dans ce combat sur une séquence de trois victoires consécutives, dont un KO au premier tour de Rolando Mansilla lors de son dernier retrait.

MONTRÉAL (Mai 11, 2016) — Candidat mondial aux poids lourds légers Artur Beterbiev revient sur le ring Samedi nuit, Juin 7, pour défendre son Organisation Mondiale de Boxe (WBO) Association internationale et nord-américaine de boxe (Aussi) ceintures de titre contre le champion argentin Ezequiel “L'Olympien” Maderna lors de l'événement principal de 12 rounds au Belle Centre à Montréal, Canada.
Presented by Groupe Yvon Michel (GYM), la “Grand Prix” événement de boxe fait partie du prestigieux Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) série, qui sera diffusé en direct au Canada à la carte à partir de 8:00 p.m. ET via Canal Indigo, Bell Télé et Shaw TV. L'événement principal et la co-fonctionnalité, commençant à 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT, sera diffusé sur ESPN aux États-Unis.

Beterbiev, 31 ans (9-0, 9 KOs), le fils adoptif de Montréal, est en mission de recherche et de destruction pour son premier combat en un an. Le double olympien russe (photo vers la gauche) n'a pas combattu depuis juin dernier, quand il a arrêté Alexander Johnson dans le 7etour, en raison d'une blessure à l'épaule qui a nécessité une intervention chirurgicale.
Beterbiev est classé mondial parmi les six premiers des quatre principales organisations de sanction: IBF #2, WBO & WBA #4, et WBC #6. Le puissant Betervbiev défendra ses titres WBO International et NABA contre Maderna.
Au cours de sa carrière professionnelle de 3 ans, Beterbiev a vaincu deux anciens mondes champions, Gabriel Campillo et Nuage de Tavoris.
Maderna (23-2, 15 KOs) est un combattant vétéran d'Argentine, le même pays qui a produit de nombreux boxeurs de championnat, à partir de Luis Firpo à Sergio Martinez, ainsi que des contemporains remarquables tels que le champion IBF cruiserweight Victor Ramirez, avec les prétendants Lucas Matthysse, Jésus Cuellar, Omar Narvaez et Juan Carlos Reveco. Fort Myers, FL (Mai 11, 2016) – Welterweight sensation Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella will face his toughest foe to date when he challenges fellow unbeaten southpaw David “Day-Day” Grayton Samedi, Juin 4 au Centre Bell à Montréal, Québec, Canada.

 

The Perrella-Grayton bout serves as the co-main event of a Premier Boxing Champions card televised on ESPN.

 

Living and fighting out of Fort Myers, FL, the heavy-handed Perrella has a stellar 13-0 registre professionnel avec 12 victoires par KO. Against Grayton, la 6’0 Perrella fights on TV for a third consecutive time, previously halting both Chaquib Fadli and Ramon Ayala. En 2010, he defeated the aforementioned Spence to capture National Golden Gloves title and he also won bronze at the 2012 tournoi.

 

“I know he’s undefeated and is coming to fight but this is a big step up for him,” Perrella said of Grayton. “I expect him to try and drag me into a dog fight. Regardless of what he brings, I’m looking forward to come out on top with a great performance. I’ve fought the better opposition and have been asking for harder fights. I believe I’m an overall better fighter and on Juin 4 everybody will see that.”

 

Michael Nowling, Perrella’s head trainer, is very familiar Grayton and is equally as confident his fighter will emerge victorious.

 

“David Grayton is a strong and athletic southpaw that is coming to win. Indépendamment, he’s never fought anybody like Bryant Perrella. For some time now, I’ve wanted Bryant to step up and fight another prospect because I believe he’s better than a lot of guys out there. IMMOKALEE, FL. (Février 1, 2016) – L'étoile montante Erickson “Le Marteau” Lubin(14-0, 10 KOs) defeated Mexican brawler Jose De Jesus Macias (18-5-2, 9 KOs) in his first main event Dimanche nuit Premier Champions de boxe: La prochaine rondesur Bounce TV from a sold out Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee in Immokalee, Floride.
Lubin, Orlando, showed superior skills by using his quick hands and combination punching to offset Macias’ come-forward style. En un tour de cinq, Lubin scored a knockdown when he landed a cuffing right hook that forced Macias to touch the canvas with his glove.
The fast rising 20-year-old landed the harder blows and was looking to stop his opponent inside the distance. Macias continued to fight aggressively throughout the contest and he was able to survive and push Lubin to 10-rounds for the first time in his career.
Lubin remained perfect as a professional by scores of 99-90 et 100-89 deux fois.
In a battle of southpaw welterweights, FLORIDE Joseph Elegele (15-3, 11 KOs) arrêtéAlex De Jesus (21-1, 13 KOs) in the sixth round of their scheduled eight-round affair.
Elegele brought the pressure early, hurting De Jesus with an overhand left in round two before he put his opponent on the canvas in round three with a brilliant combination on the ropes. The knockdown came at the end of the round and clearly dazed De Jesus, who walked to the wrong corner after the bell.
A hard left hand punctuated another combination that closed the show for Elegele in round six. The fight was called off by referee James Warring 56 secondes dans la ronde. De Jesus was taken to North Collier Hospital after the fight as a precaution.

“I just want to keep moving on from here and moving forward. I want to move up the ladder.”

“He was a strong fighter and he moved very well. I was able to handle everything he had and I thought I was in the fight.
“He has a lot of power. He’s not the best guy I’ve faced but he did enough to get the win tonight.”
JOSEPH ELEGELE
“I felt good out there. I did my thing. I told everybody that I was going to stop this guy and that’s what I did.
“I doubled my left hand and I knew I hurt him. He couldn’t take any more shots so I finished him.
“I want to fight someone in the top 15. I want to compete with the best. It’s my time.”
DENNIS GALARZA
“My opponent was very tough. We fought eight hard rounds with a veteran.
“I wanted to get him out of there but we stayed patient and stuck to the game plan. I’m getting better every time out there.
“It’s my second time going eight rounds and soon I’ll be ready for ten rounds anyone that wants to get in there with me.
SAMUEL AMAOKO
“I went out and gave it my all. I thought it was closer and that I was landing some shots with more power.
“He is a very good fighter but I fought well and tried to get the win.”

Dyah Davis, “My Father’s spirit lives in me”
IMMOKALEE, FL. (Janvier 28, 2016) – It has been about a month since Howard Davis Jr. passed away.
The former Olympic star and professional was one of the most well liked people in the boxing community. During the process of Davis falling ill, his son Dyah was by his side and he now vows to carry on the boxing legacy set forth by his father.
Davis of Coconut Creek, Florida will be back in the ring for the first time in a 17 mois, will take on Edgar Perez le dimanche at the Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee.
Davis has been trying to get back in the ring sooner, but could not find anyone to step up and fight him.
“I was trying to get fights and I always am decent shape,”dit le 34 ans Davis.
“I guess that I am too much trouble for contenders and too dangerous for prospects. I guess that means I am high risk and no reward.”
When his father passed away on December 30, 2015, Davis began to get even more motivated about his career.
“I found my motivation with the passing of my father. His legacy will continue on through me. His spirit is in me. My father was my best friend. He always knew that I have the ability and now it is time to show the world that.”
With a possible fight on the horizon and his father living out his last days, Davis made the most of his time with Howard.
“My main objective in his last few weeks was to spend as much time as possible. We didn’t talk too much boxing. We watched some of his old tapes as we just saw the impact he made on so many people. It made me feel great to see the people who reached out following his passing. Lots of people reached out in so many ways.”
Dyah feels he has a new start in boxing as he has inked a deal with Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions.
“I am fortunate that Marshall is giving me a shot. He has put on a lot of shows in the past couple years and I am looking for bigger fights. As seen by my record, I will fight anybody. It just seems everybody wants an easy route these days. My route is that I want to fight only big fights. I feel like I can get there by fighting the best. This is just a fight to get back in the mix of things. I really don’t know anything about him. I will get in there and take care of him.”

Combats de Brooklyn, Galarza is looking for his third straight victory in the state of Florida when he enters the ring on Janvier 31. The 23-year-old has fought professionally since 2013 and racked up five wins in 2015. Most recently he stopped Juan Ramon Solis in their November 2015 lutte. He will take on the 20-year-old Molnar out of Bekescsaba, Hungary who will be making his U.S. début.
Un Washington D.C. produit, Grayton était un champion national des gants d'or qui a battu Errol Spence Jr. as an amateur on his way to picking up that title. Le joueur de 28 ans est entré dans les rangs professionnels en 2012 et est invaincu depuis. He defeated Martin Wright in October 2015 and will now take on the Brazilian Souza Santos.
The 28-year-old Calderon picked up three victories in 2015 including his most recent triumph, a first round stoppage of Clifford McPherson in November. The Miami-native will square off against East Molina, Illinois’ Venegas.
