The former amateur sensation was a multiple-time National champion and Ringside World champion.

The 19 year-old Vazquez turned professional at age 16 with a 1st round stoppage over Miguel Meneses. He has won every bout, and captured the NABF Junior Flyweight title with 8 round unanimous decision over former three-time world title challenger Omar Soto.
