COLORADO SPRINGS, ভাঁজ. (এপ্রিল 5, 2018 — USA Boxing has announced that Duke Ragan (Cincinnati, বিভাগ) এবং ভার্জিনিয়া Fuchs (Kemah, বিভাগ) have been named 2017 Under Armour Elite Boxers of the Year. They are leading contenders to represent Team USA at the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
 গত বছর, the 20-year-old Ragan used his stiff jab and ring intelligence to make a major statement in the ring for the first time in International competition. The slick bantamweight (123 পাউন্ড.) captured gold at his initial International tournament, the Chemistry Cup in Halle, জার্মানি, before he clinched a ticket to his first World Championships, by way of his bronze-medal winning performance at the 2017 Continental Championships in Honduras.
Ragan’s third International medal of 2017 came at the 2017 Elite Men’s World Championships, where he won a silver medal, marking the highest placing for an American bantamweight at that prestigious tournament since 1999.
 Fuchs, 30, had a perfect 18-0 record in 2017, সেই সঙ্গে 15 unanimous decision victories and one by RSC (referee stopped contest). Citlalli Ortiz Wins Welterweight Youth World Championship Title

GUWAHATI, ভারত (নভেম্বর 26, 2017) — Coachella, California-native Citlalli Ortiz closed out her impressive 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships campaign with a split decision victory over Russia’s Nataliya Sychugova to take her first major international title in Guwahati, ভারত.
“Today feels like one of the best days of my life,” stated Ortiz following her win. “যুদ্ধ করার পর, I doubted myself, but I am extremely happy I pulled out the win and it feels amazing being a world champion.”
Ortiz gold medal closes out a strong showing from the young American delegation. Team USA’s other medal, a bronze, was won yesterday by Isamary Aquino of Universal City, টেক্সাস.
“I am extremely proud of my performance at my first international tournament,” said Aquino following her medal ceremony. “It was an honor to be able to represent Team USA and bring home a world championship medal.”
The remaining members of the team included: Aidyl Cardenas (Calexico, খলিফা.),Diana Estrada (Hillsboro, ওরেগন), Heaven Garcia (El Monte, খলিফা.), Roma Martinez (নম্র, টেক্সাস), Sharahaya Moreu (আলবুকার্ক, N.M.) এবং Amy Salinas(ক্রস, N.M).
This year’s Youth World Championships brought 160 of the world’s top youth female boxers from 36 different countries all vying for one of the 10 world titles up for grabs. প্রধান কোচ বিলি ওয়ালশ (কলোরাডো স্প্রিংস, কলো) and assistant coaches Koroma (কলোরাডো স্প্রিংস, কলো) এবং Jeff Mays (San Antonio, টেক্সাস) guided Team USA throughout these championships.
