NEW YORK – October 3, 2018 – Combate Americas today announced its debut in Guadalajara, Jasico, Mexico with a star-studded Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event headlined by a lightweight (155 pon) showdown between knockout artist Marco “La Roca” Elipido (7-3-1) dan Enrique “Wasabi” Marin (11-5), live in Spanish on Univision Deportes Network (UDN) (12 a.m. DAN / 9 malam. PT) and in English on DAZN (10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT) pada hari Jumat, Bulan Oktober 26.

Also announced today for the “Combate Americas: La Batalla de Guadalajara” event, which will take place at Complejo Nissan de Gimnasia, was a featured, bantam (135 pon) matchup between rising stars Victor Hugo “El Periquito” Madrigal (6-2) of Guadalajara and Christian “El Taylon” Quinonez(12-2) of Zacatecas, Meksiko, and a flyweight (125 pon) scrap between unbeaten phenom Edgar Chairez (4-0) dari Mexicali, Baja California, Meksiko dan Axel Osuna (3-1) dari Guadalajara.

In other live televised action announced today, a women’s strawweight (115 pon) matchup will see Georgina Almeraz (3-1) Chihuahua, Meksiko dan Mireia Garcia (0-0) of Barcelona, Spain make their respective Combate Americas debuts against one another.

 

 

Garcia, an unbeaten professional kickboxer and a protégé of “COPA COMBATE” tournament semifinalist Marc “Lufo” Gomez, will also make first start under MMA rules.
