For the better part of the last month, two billboards in particular feature one of the hottest prospects in boxing in undefeated bantamweight Christian Carto.

 

 

 

Carto, who has been featured multiple times by SugarHouse Casino 作為 21 year-old has developed a relationship with the casino as he has packed the fight venue on seven previous occasions.

 

 

 

“It’s really cool to see me up on these big billboards,” said Carto. “I didn’t know they were going up, but it is very exciting to see it.”

“I don’t know too much about him,” continued Carto, “I know he is a Mexican fighter who likes to come forward. We share a common opponent in Alonso Melendez. I have seen that he is tough.”

Carto was very sharp with his punches, and controlled the action against a willing opponent in Smith.

Carto thrilled his throngs of supporters as he constantly was on the offensive, and showed his dominance by cruising to the victory by scores of 80-72 兩次， 79-73.

“Smith seems to be a good a fighter. I watched a couple of his fights, and even in the fight he lost, he fought well until he got caught.”
Carto stopped his 1st eleven opponents, but had to go the full distance of eight-rounds in his last two outings. Carto was not disappointed that his knockout streak ended.
“It would have been nice to have kept that streak going, but I am not upset. I actually thought in my last fight against Luis Saavedra that I was close to getting him out of there but he did a good job in hanging in there and going the distance. It was a good experience to go eight-rounds. I spar 10-12 發, so I knew I could go eight rounds.”
This will be Carto’s 7th appearance at The SugarHouse Casino, and the venue has taken a liking to Carto to the point where a 40-foot billboard was erected over I-95, and millions of motorists can see Carto each day.

“I don’t know much about Adyka. I know he likes to come forward,” said Carto, who has been training in Los Angeles at the Wild Card Gym and has been sparring with world champions.
When asked about his knockout streak, Carto said he does not go in looking for the early stoppage.
“I don’t go in looking for the knockout. I just go out there to box and pick my shots, and if the stoppage comes, 說到。”
When Carto gets back to Philadelphia, he will be performing in front of a fan base that is one of the best in the Philadelphia region.
“It’s good to get a ton of support, and I enjoy performing in front of them.”
When asked about the busy schedule, Carto leaves it up to his team, which includes his his father Frank and brother Frankie.
“I just train for one fight at a time, and my team tells me that when I am going to fight, I just go back in the gym, but I do want to stay active.”
