NEW YORK – May 8, 2018 – Combate Americas today announced a new main event and live Univision Deportes Network (UDN) telecast for its ‘Mexico vs. USA’ Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event that will be highlighted by matchups between a collection of prolific, rising stars from Mexico against ferocious combatants from the U.S., in Sacramento, קליפורניה. ביום שישי, מאי 11.

In the first quarterfinal stage bout in tournament bracket “A,” vicious striker Mikey “El Terrible” Erosa (12-5) from San Juan, Puerto Rico will take on red-hot Marcelo “The Pitbull” Rojo (12-4) from Cordoba, ארגנטינה.

Marroquin’s start will mark a drop from the featherweight division. The 22-year-old, who hails from Monterrey, מקסיקו, has produced seven of his eight career victories to date, בדרך של (T)KO או הגשה.

The 29-year-old Argentinian will be paired off against Puerto Rican sensation Billy Molina (5-3), 30, making his Combate Americas debut after last month’s return to action in Bayamon.
