Tą dieną bus pirmas kartas, kai UFC kortelėje bus moterų varžybos tiek pagrindiniame, tiek pagrindiniame turnyre. Po vidutinio svorio čempiono Chriso Weidmano dėl traumos jis buvo priverstas pasitraukti iš kovos su Vitoru Belfortu, naujas pagrindinis UFC renginys 184 yra Ronda Rousey, ginanti savo moterų vidutinio svorio diržą prieš Katę Zingano. Galbūt jie eina į aštuonkampį labiau su „go for break“ mentalitetu ir aktyviai siekia finišo, o ne „saugiai žaidžia“.

Rousey ir Zingano kova vasario mėn. 28 taip pat žengs ilgą kelią nustatant moterų MMA ateitį. Jei Rousey nugalės Zingano, o tai rodo visus ženklus, ji iš esmės išvalys savo padalinį, liko tik nežinomi iššūkiai, tokie kaip Holmas ir Bethe Correia. Jei Zingano sutrauks, tada divizija laukia naujos serijos įdomių rungtynių.
