Robinson wins 10th straight this past Friday night in Philadelphia

In a battle of undefeated super bantamweights Raeese Aleem was impressive in winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Marcus Bates.
Aleem scored a knockdown in the opening frame from a left hand. Aleem continued to push the action by taking the lead, while Bates tried to counter, but it was the effective punching Aleem. Aleem won by scores of 80-71 & 79-72 rua.
Aleem, 121.9 lbs of Las Vegas is now 11-0. Bates, 122.9 lbs of Washington, DC ko 8-1-1.
Colby Madison and Guillermo Del Rio battled to a six-round majority draw in a heavyweight bout.
Madison was able to draw blood from Del Rio’s right nostril in round three, but Del Rio was able to match Madison punch for punch. Madison took a card 58-56, while two cards read even at 57-57.
Madison, 247.9 lbs of Owings Mills, MD is 6-0-2. Del Rio, 198.8 lbs of South Houston, Texas is 2-2-1.
Poindexter Knight went the distance for the first time, but still came out with an a easy four-round unanimous decision over Vincent Floyd in a welterweight bout.
Knight knocked Floyd down in round one with a nice left-right combination.

Joshafat Ortiz remained undefeated by pounding out a four-round unanimous decision over Evgueny Metchenov in a junior light bout.
Ortiz landed hard shots that drew blood from the nose of Metchenov in round two. Ortiz won by 40-36 scores on all cards.
Ortiz, 131.5 lbs of Reading, PA is 3-0. Metchenov, 130.7 lbs of Forrestville, MD is 0-2.
Denis Okoth won a four-round split decision over Rasheed Johnson in a welterweight fight.
Okoth took two cards by scores of 40-36 a 39-37, while Johnson won a card 39-37.
Okoth, 143.9 lbs of Siaya, KEN is 2-0-1. Johnson, 147.3 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-2.
Kendall Cannida won a four-round unanimous decision over Carlos Villenueva in a light heavyweight bout,
Cannida sealed the fight with a final round knockdown that came from a nice three-punch combination, and won by scores of 39-36 i runga i ngā kāri katoa.
Cannida, 178.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 2-0. Villenueva, 173.2 lbs of Philadelphia was making his pro debut.

My training went very well. My weight came off nicely, and I had great sparring. I feel very good as I head into this fight,” ka mea a Fox.
In Aguas, he is facing a battled tested foe who has fought good competition in his home country of Ecuador and in Mexico. His lone defeated came in his last bout against then-undefeated prospect Ivan Golub.
Aguas fought against Golub, who is a known commodity. I know that Aguas has a good record and has power, and he has been 12 rauna, so I expect to have to fight the whole time in there.
The King’s Promotions signee, Fox is looking forward to his maiden voyage into one of the great fight towns in Philadelphia.
Philly is a great fight town. I know a lot of people up there like Julian Williams, Tevin Farmer and Jesse Hart. Those guys are tough, and Philly has a lot of tough fighters. I am really looking forward to fighting in front of the Philly fight crowd.
Fox is really excited about what a win will do for him going forward.
This win will be a a good look for me because of his record. It will show people that I can handle myself against a battle tested opponent, and hopefully it will catapult me into a ShoBox opportunity, and keep me moving in my career. In Melendez, he is fighting a tough fighter from Mexico who sports an impressive mark of 14-1 ki 12 knockouts.
I have seen a few videos of him, and I know he is a southpaw. He is a good fighter, and on paper it looks like he is my toughest fight, but I can tell you for sure after the fight.
Ever since he was an amateur, Carto has been a popular fighter, drawing large crowds, but since becoming a professional, Carto is starting to build into an attraction, where he is starting to acquire more and more fans with each fight.

Carto has kept extremely busy as he fought all eleven of his bouts in a 13-month span, with his latest being a 2nd round stoppage over Phillip Adyaka on August 11th in front of a sold-out crowd at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.

Even though he has an impressive record (10-1, 4 KO o), I do not know a lot about him. His record is actually better then mine. I am fighting at home but I still feel that I am the underdog. I think this is a fight that could go all eight-rounds, and I am looking forward to that as I have never gone that distance.
Rosary, who has won seven consecutive fights has been slowly moving up the card and now finds himself in the main event.
That has not hit me yet that I am the main event fighter. I just continue to fight and my team has done a good job of finding me the right fights. I am gaining more confidence with each fight and my opponents continue to get better.
Rosario has been in the gym since age 10 but did not start to competing until he was 18. He then embarked on a 28 fight amateur career.
The full-time corrections officer is taking his boxing career one step at a time, but he is seeing improvement in every fight.
