LAS VEGAS, NV (Marts 10, 2020) - Den Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame announced its 2020 class of inductees today at the Fernando Vargas Fighting Foundation i Las Vegas. Inductees in attendance were, 2-Time verdensmester Fernando Vargas, 2-Time verdensmester, Bones Adams, WBC Letvægts Champion, Devin Haney, who was voted Fighter of the Year, Prospect of the Year, Rolando Romero, og Saalim Gonzales, father of Amateur Fighter of the Year, Rahim Gonzales. CARSON, Calif. Televised prelims on FS1 feature undefeated bantamweight prospect Damien Vazquez battles former world champion Juan Carlos Payano in an eight or 10-round attraction, while unbeaten welterweight prospect and 2016 Lithuanian Olympian Eimantas Stanionis will face once-beaten Sammy Figueroa in an eight round showdown on the telecast beginning at 6:30 p.m. OG / 3:30 p.m. PT.

The 35-year-old Guerrero (34-6-1, 19 KOS) has a rich career filled with intriguing matches against some of the best boxers of this generation – Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia – and has won titles at featherweight, junior-letvægt, lightweight and welterweight. Fighting out of Gilroy, California, he will be taking on Herrera (24-16-1, 18 KOS) following a knockout victory over Adam Mates in December.

Cuellar (28-3, 21 KOS), who is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, won an interim featherweight title by defeating Claudio Marrero in 2013 that was eventually made the regular title as he made five successful defenses. He dropped the title the next year with a split decision loss to Abner Mares and followed that up with a TKO loss in a junior lightweight championship match against Gervonta Davis last April. The 33-year-old Cuellar is seeking to get back into the world title picture but first will have to get past Padilla (16-9-1, 10 KOS).

Garcia landed haymaker shots from time to time, but over the second half of the fight, Fox made the proper adjustments and timed Garcia lunging in. The damage inflicted by Fox was evident as Garcia’s left eye began to swell midway through the fight. I runde syv, with his eye nearly shut, Garcia ate a right hook that put him on the canvas.
Fox took the decision by scores of 78-73 to gange og 77-74 to further his perfect mark to 16-0. Garcia, 142.1 lbs of Dominican Republic dropped his 2nd straight fight, og er nu 14-2.

Blake Mansfield stopped Darryl Bunting in round five of their scheduled six-round middleweight bout.
The bout was entertaining as the two landed good shots on each other. Bunting was cut over his right eye from a punch in round two. Mansfield was deducted a point in round four as his mouthpiece came out several times.
Mansfield ended the fight in round five when he landed a hard combination that had Bunting in trouble on the ropes. Several hard an unanswered punches later, the fight was stopped at 36 sekunder.
Mansfield, 162.4 lbs of Burington, NC er 6-1-1 med fire udskæringer. Bunting, 163 lbs of Asbury Park, NJ er 3-3-2.
Michael Coffie won a four-round unanimous decision over tough Nicoy Clarke in a heavyweight bout.

Kendall Cannida made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Leroy Jones in a cruiserweight bout.
Cannida, 175.1 lbs of Philadelphia won on all cards by 40-36 scoringer. Jones, 174.5 lbs af Newark, NJ er 2-2.
Martino Jules won a four-round unanimous decision over Malik Loften in a battle of previously undefeated featherweight’s.
Jules scored a knockdown in round two and won by scores of 39-38 og 37-37 to gange.
Jules, 127.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-0. Loften, 125.8 lbs of Suitland, MD is 1-1.

Baranchyk Batters Lopez;Lippe-Morrison halts Cobb in Miami, OK

Miami, OK (December 11, 2016) – Rising stars and Holden Productions “Four State Franchise” members Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk and Trey Lippe-Morrison kept their perfect records in tact following impressive victories Saturday, December 10 på Buffalo Run Casino.
Headlining in front of a standing room only crowd in his adopted hometown of Miami, OK, Baranchyk battled game Phoenix native Wilberth Lopez over ten rounds. Lopez, who defeated five previously unbeaten foes, had to deal with the ultra-aggressive style of Baranchyk but scored a flash knockdown in the fourth round. The knockdown, his first suffered as a pro, had little impact on the fight. For the rest of the contest, the IBF #12 ranked Baranchyk overpowered Lopez, who was on the receiving end of many hard shots but finished the bout on his feet.
Resultaterne var 98-91 to gange og 97-92.
Baranchyk, who resides in Brooklyn, NY by way of Russia, er nu 13-0 med 10 knockouts. Lopez falls to 15-7 (10 KO s).
I co-main event, Lippe-Morrison kept his knockout streak intact with a two round beatdown of veteran Ty Cobb. Living and fighting out of Vinita, OK, Lippe-Morrison focused on attacking Cobb’s midsection, forcing him to lower his guard. Lippe-Morrison quickly changed focus and dropped Cobb in the second round with a left hook to the head. Cobb beat the count but found himself on the floor shortly thereafter courtesy of another hard left hook. The tough Texan made it back to his feet but was in no shape to continue, forcing the stoppage at 2:10.
“I felt good and stuck to the game plan of going to his body,” Lippe-Morrison said after his victory. “By going to the body early, we knew we’d find an opening up top and that’s exactly what happened.”
Lippe-Morrison is now 13-0 with all of his victories by knockout. Cobb sips to 19-8 med 11 KO s.
“I’m pleased with the way Ivan and Trey fought,"Sagde Holden. “The future is extremely bright for both men and the demand to see the Four State Franchise fight at the Buffalo Run Casino is an an all-time high.”
Baranchyk and Lippe-Morrison are both expected to appear on ShoBox in early 2017.
I undercard handling, two more members of the “Four State Franchise” won impressively.
Junior middleweight Dillon “White Lighting” Cook of Seneca, MO shutout durable Mexican veteran Juan Jesus Rivera, 28-16 (18 KO s), in an eight round contest. Kog, der forbedres 18-1 med 7 KO s, maintained control from bell to bell and won every round on each scorecard.
