Ingushetia, Rusia (Outubro 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Desafío 71 na Ingusetia, Rusia.
Casaquistán nativa Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Rusia, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion AttilaPumukliVegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, no evento principal.

Fighting in the inaugural M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Championship, Russian fighter Vitruk (14-2-0, M-1: 8-2-0) derrotado Vitali Branchuk (21-6-0, M-1: 1-2-0), de Ucraína, by way of a fourth-round submission.

Welterweight ruso Sergey Romanov (9-1-0, M-1: 3-0-0) took a three-round unanimous decision from Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pereira (37-11-1, M-1: 1-1-0), do Brasil, while M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko (42-11-2, M-1: 9-1-0) decisioned Brazilian foe Rubenilton “Rubinkho” Pereira (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) in a non-title fight contested at a 160-pound catrchweight.
Former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight Stephan “T-800” Puetz (15-2-0, M-1: 5-1-0), de Alemaña, also put himself in position for another title fight, possibly against his arch-rival Nemkov, by forcing Brazilian Marcus ViniciusMountan” Lopes (9-2-0, M-1: 1-1-0) into submission via a rear naked choke in the third round.

The inaugural M-1 Challenge bantamweight championship match between Pavel Vitruk(13-2-0, M-1: 7-2-0) e Vitali Branchuk (21-5-0, M-1: 1-1-0), as well as a light heavyweight showdown featuring 2-time former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight Viktor Nemkov (23-6-0, M-1: 16-5-0) e AttilaPumukliVegh (29-7-2, M-1: 0-1-0), were previously announced by M-1 Global.

Romanov (8-1-0, M-1: 2-0-0) is riding a seven-fight win streak, including a pair of victories at M-1 Desafío 68 sobre Andreas Birgels by way of an opening-round knockout (socos), which was exactly the same way Romanov finished off Sergio de Fatimaen M-1 Desafío 65.

Pereira (37-11-1, M-1: 1-0-0) made an impressive M-1 debut a year ago at M-1 Desafío 61, derrotando Ruslan Zhemukov in the first round with the Submission of the Night. The large majority of his fights have been held in Brazil against his fellow countrymen.

Puetz (14-2-0, M-1: 5-1-0) captured the covered M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title in 2014, when he defeated defending champion Nemkov by way of a five-round split decision. The gifted German successfully defended his title belt twice against Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – afogador) en M-1 Desafío 50 e Valery Myasnikov(KO/TKO2 – socos) en M-1 Desafío 54. Puetz followed up with a third-round stoppage of then-M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura in a non-title fight at M-1 Desafío 57.

Puetz lost his M-1 Challenge title belt to Nemkov by way of a five-round majority decision at M-1 Desafío 63 in the Fight of the Night. In his last action this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, Puetz won a hard fought three-round unanimous decision over Andrey Seledtsov in another Fight of the Night.

New M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko
BAKU, Acerbaixán (Xuño 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Desafío 67 main event in Baku, Acerbaixán.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

Idrisov withdraws with illness Korobkov Takes on Buchinger in non-title fight M-1 Challenge lightweight title fight Butenko vs. Damkovsky new main event

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusia (Xuño 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight este sábado (Xuño 4) against defending champion Baño “Esta é a” Buchinger en M-1 Desafío 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Acerbaixán.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), de Rusia, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Desafío 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, loitando fóra de Eslovaquia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusia (Maio 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Baño “Esta é a” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M-1 Desafío 67, Xuño 4 at Baku, Acerbaixán.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pereira.
M-1 Desafío 67 will be streamed live from Azerbaijan in high definition onwww.M1Global.TV. Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Desafío 52, parada Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui en M-1 Desafío 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 no M-1 Competición global.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max COGA en maio pasado en M-1 Desafío 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) no M-1 Challenge 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Desafío 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Outubro 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pereira, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) en M-1 Desafío 61.
