CANCUN, Meksika (Oktobris 10, 2016) – The replay of the August 24th “Cancun Boxing” karte, presented by Pepe Gomez Boxing in association with Neon Star Media, will air this Wednesday night (Oktobris. 12, sākot 10 p.m. PT / 1 a.m. UN, on CBS Sports Network. Encore presentations will be Friday, Oktobris. 21 (7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. UN) and Friday, Oktobris. 28 (1 a.m. PT / 10 p.m. UN).
The event is the third installment of the “Cancun Boxing” series that will air on CBS Sports Network in 2016. Grand Oasis Cancun the Hotel Complex, Cancun`s ONLY Ultimate All-Inclusive Entertainment Resort, will play host to all events in this ongoing series.
Hall-of-Fame announcer Al Bernstein and Sean Wheelock called the action live from ringside in Cancun, Meksika.
Future Hall of Fame candidate Jhonny Gonzalez (61-10, 51 Kos) defended his World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver super featherweight title for the fourth time, against Japanese invader Hiroysugi Yamamoto (19-12-2, 3 Kos), in the scheduled 10-round main event.
Gonzalez is Mexican knockout machine (51 karjera Kos) kurš, as the saying goes, has never been in a bad fight. The 3-time, 2-division world champion Gonzalez, novērtēja Nr. 4 by the WBC going into this fight, has been on a mission for one more world title shot.

Yamamoto, who was fighting in North America for the first time, is a former WBC Asian Boxing Council and Asia Pacific title challenger.

July 23rd “Cancun Boxing” Chavez vs. Moreno women’s world title fight To air tonight at 10 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network
CANCUN, Meksika (Augusts 4, 2016) – American boxing fans will have a rare opportunity to watch a women’s world title fight on national television as “Cancun Boxing,” presented by Pepe Gomez Boxing in association with Neon Star Media, būs gaisa šovakar (Ceturtdiena, Augusts. 4), sākot 10 p.m. UN / 7 p.m. PT, on CBS Sports Network.

The 33-year-old Terrazas, who hadn’t fought since his losing his WBC title nearly three years ago to Leo Santa Cruz, captured the vacant WBC crown in 2013, taking a 12-round split decision from fellow Mexican great Cristian Mijares. Promoter Pepe Gomez & Neon Star Media bring “Cancun Boxing” to CBS Sports Network
CANCUN, Meksika / LAS VEGAS (Jūnijs 2, 2016) — Famed promoter Pepe Gomez has partnered with Neon Star Media to bring its monthly “Cancun Boxing” series to CBS Sports Network.
The first event, “Knockout’s On Fire,” notiks Šo sestdien nakts (Jūnijs 4) from Grand Oasis Cancun the Hotel Complex in Cancun, Meksika. Cancun`s ONLY Ultimate All-Inclusive Entertainment Resort will play host to all events in the series.
“Cancun Boxing” is presented by Pepe Gomez Boxing.

The first event will feature Mexico’s 3-time world super flyweight champion Cristian “El Diamante” Mijares (53-8-2, 26 Kos) who takes on his fellow countryman, undefeated Andres “Jaguarito” Gutierrez, in the 12-round main event for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Featherweight Championship.
WBC No. 8 rated Mijares (attēlotie pa kreisi), 34, is a former IBF, WBA Super and WBC super flyweight world champion. The future Hall of Fame candidate is 11-5 in world title fights with key victories over Chatchai Sasakul, Jorge Arce un Katsushige Kawashima (divreiz).

The highlight of Aligarbes’ pro career to date is stopping Angelito Merin in the second round of their WBC Youth World super flyweight title fight in 2013.
Former WBA female bantamweight champion Irma “Torbellino” Garcia (13-1-, 2 Kos) atbilst Miriam “La Patrona” Avila (5-6, 2 Kos) 10 apļu mačā. Garcia defeated Magali Rodriguez by 10-round majority decision to capture the WBA World bantamweight championship in 2013, but she never defended her title.
