CANCUN, Mexique (Octobre 10, 2016) – The replay of the August 24th “Cancun boxe” carte, presented by Pepe Gomez Boxing in association with Neon Star Media, will air this Wednesday night (Octobre. 12, à partir de 10 p.m. PT / 1 a.m. ET, sur le réseau CBS Sports. Hall-of-Fame announcer Al Bernstein and Sean Wheelock called the action live from ringside in Cancun, Mexique.
Future Hall of Fame candidate Jhonny Gonzalez (61-10, 51 KOs) defended his World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver super featherweight title for the fourth time, against Japanese invader Hiroysugi Yamamoto (19-12-2, 3 KOs), in the scheduled 10-round main event.
Gonzalez is Mexican knockout machine (51 carrière KOs) qui, as the saying goes, has never been in a bad fight. The 3-time, 2-division world champion Gonzalez, Non classé. 4 by the WBC going into this fight, has been on a mission for one more world title shot.

Yamamoto, who was fighting in North America for the first time, is a former WBC Asian Boxing Council and Asia Pacific title challenger.

July 23rd “Cancun boxe” Chavez vs. Moreno women’s world title fight To air tonight at 10 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network
CANCUN, Mexique (Août 4, 2016) – American boxing fans will have a rare opportunity to watch a women’s world title fight on national television as “Cancun boxe,” presented by Pepe Gomez Boxing in association with Neon Star Media, sera diffusé ce soir (Jeudi, Août. 4), à partir de 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, sur le réseau CBS Sports.

The main event was a scheduled 10-round World Boxing Council (WBC) female world flyweight title fight between Mexico City rivals, champion en titre Jessica “Kika” Chavez (26-4-3, 4 KOs) et challenger Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno (33-8-1. 11 KOs), in a rematch of their February 19, 2011 lutte, in which Moreno won a 10-round unanimous decision.

The other televised bout was an intriguing match-up between former WBC World super bantamweight champion Victor “Vikingo” Terrazas (37-3-1, 21 KOs) et testé bataille Cristian “Le grossier” Arrazola (20-11-2, 15 KOs).
The 33-year-old Terrazas, who hadn’t fought since his losing his WBC title nearly three years ago to Leo Santa Cruz, captured the vacant WBC crown in 2013, taking a 12-round split decision from fellow Mexican great Cristian Mijares. Terrazas also holds a notable victory by way of a unanimous 12-round decision over another Mexican boxing icon, 5-temps, 3-champion du monde de division Fernando Montiel, for the vacant WBC Silver super bantamweight championship.

Promoter Pepe Gomez & Neon Star Media bring “Cancun boxe” to CBS Sports Network
CANCUN, Mexique / LAS VEGAS (Juin 2, 2016) — Famed promoter Pepe Gomez has partnered with Neon Star Media to bring its monthly “Cancun boxe” series to CBS Sports Network.
The first event, “Knockout’s On Fire,” aura lieu ce samedi nuit (Juin 4) from Grand Oasis Cancun the Hotel Complex in Cancun, Mexique. Cancun`s ONLY Ultimate All-Inclusive Entertainment Resort will play host to all events in the series.

The first event will feature Mexico’s 3-time world super flyweight champion Cristian “El Diamante” Mijares (53-8-2, 26 KOs) who takes on his fellow countryman, invaincu Andres “Jaguarito” Gutierrez, in the 12-round main event for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Featherweight Championship.

Former WBA female bantamweight champion Irma “Torbellino” Garcia (13-1-, 2 KOs) répond Miriam “La Patrona” Avila (5-6, 2 KOs) dans un match de 10 tours.
