MIAMI, Okla. (Luglio 15, 2017) – Ivan Baranchyk went the distance with Keenan Smith in front of Baranchyk’s adopted hometown in the main event of a quadrupleheader featuring eight returning fighters il Venerdì di ShoBox: La nuova generazionefrom Buffalo Run Casino & Località.
In a battle of undefeated fighters, the hard-hitting Baranchyk (15-0, 10 KO) took advantage of a one-point holding deduction against Sims in the fifth round to earn the decision in his fifth appearance on the ShoBox series and six consecutive fight out of Miami.
“I’m happy to be fighting back home in Miami, I love to fight here,"Ha detto Baranchyk, who was happy with his win but displeased with his overall performance. “I came out too hard and tried too hard to knock Smith out. I really wanted to knock him out which is why my punches were wild.”
Fabbro (11-1, 5 KO) sealed his fate when he was deducted a point by officials after excessive holding throughout the first half of the fight. He became the 166th fighter to lose his undefeated record on the ShoBox serie.
“They weren’t playing fair,” Smith said. “Anything that I did, the referee was on me. I was hitting him with clean body shots, and he kept telling me to keep them up, and then he took a point for holding. I don’t know what fight [i giudici] were watching.”
The fight was a hard-hitting and physical affair from the beginning. Baranchyk came out swinging, landing just 21% of his jabs and 29% of total punches, edging out Smith who landed just 22% of his total punches.

Like Smith, Sims (12-1, 4 KO) suffered the first loss of his career, becoming the 165th fighter to lose his undefeated record on the ShoBox serie.
In the wild final round, the pair combined for 291 punches and 85 connects, but Chinea’s surge earned him the majority decision win.
“My body just didn’t respond tonight,” Sims said. “I am done at 140 libbre. I just did not feel right from the opening bell. I am going to 147 libbre. "
Al sesto turno, Chinea took control and was the busier fighter against a fading Sims. While both fighters exchanged numerous punches in the seventh and closed the fight out with a flurry of activity, Sims clearly struggled at 140 libbre.

In the second fight of the night, Glenn Dezurn (9-0-1, 6 KO) stepped up to the 121-pound super bantamweight division to go the distance with ShoBox veteran Adam Lopez (16-1-2, 8 KO) in an action-packed eight-round slugfest that ended in a split draw. Both fighters were visibly disappointed by the judge’s decision.
“I thought I did enough to win,” said the still-undefeated Dezurn, who spars with his wife, women’s pro fighter Franchon Crews. “I’m just fortunate for this opportunity and hope [Lopez] and I can come back strong and fight again someday.”
The first round was a round of give-and-take where both Dezurn and Lopez landed and sustained an impressive amount of body punches. It was Lopez who originally appeared more subdued, foregoing the counterpunch as Dezurn worked the jab.
By the fifth round it was clear Dezurn was losing steam when Lopez began to break him down and force him against the ropes. Lopez went on to dominate the sixth and seventh rounds, when Dezurn, clearly out-fought, looked tired and began to lean over.
“After the first round, I dominated the action,” , ha detto Lopez, who has now fought on ShoBox a record-tying six times. Può essere [Dezurn] won the seventh, but I whipped him. I should have won the fight, this was a redemption for me. Once I got used to his speed, I feel I won rounds six to two. The whole fight, his back was against the ropes and I beat up his body.”

“I thought it was fair,” Ha detto Hunter. “We came on in the middle rounds, and Glenn won the seventh and eighth to get us the draw. It all came down to the stretch and I thought we did enough to win those rounds.”

While Davila appeared to come alive in the second round, the 29-year old southpaw became stationary and had trouble recovering from a shot to the face that had him bleeding out of the left side of his nose and struggling for the second half of the fourth and the fifth. His corner called the fight just after the bell sounded, ending the fifth round.
The event was co-promoted by GH3 Promotions and Holden Productions.

La nuova generazione: Lippe-Morrison ready for ShoBox debut
Miami, OK (Settembre 22, 2016) – As the son of popular former heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison, Trey Lippe-Morrison’s name alone generates attention.
A quick glance at the Oklahoman’s record shows that all 11 of his victories came by knockout, 10 inside of two rounds. Those who dug deeper into Lippe-Morrison’s career will see that he’s trained by legendary Freddie Roach at Wildcard Boxing Club in Los Angeles, COME. On the contrary, his critics note that his name alone generated the buzz rather than his knockouts and many second generation boxers didn’t meet expectations.

Baranchyk Blitzes Cruz; Witt-Morrison, Cook win in Miami, OK
Miami, OK (Giugno 27, 2016) – Hot junior welterweight prospect Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk kept his perfect record intact following a three round thrashing of previously unbeaten Eliseo Cruz Saturday, Giugno 25 a Miami, OK.
Topping an exciting fight card promoted by Holden Productions, Baranchyk fought his second consecutive match in the Sooner State. Backed by chants of “Beast, Bestia, Beast” from the packed house at the Buffalo Run Casino, Baranchyk battered Cruz until his corner threw in the towel at 1:07 del terzo turno.

A member of the “Four State Franchise” who bears a striking resemblance to his late father Tommy Morrison, Witt-Morrison is now 9-0-1 con 8 ko. Mendez heads back to Topeka, KS with a 2-1 record.
Bartlesville, OK’s Jarrett “Legacy” Rouse (9-0-1, 4 KO) and Noel Esqueda of Wichita, KS (6-3-1, 3 KO) fought to a six round draw. The competitive bout could’ve gone either way as both men had their moments but the judges ultimately ruled it even.
In altra azione, Cuban cruiserweight Luis Garcia (14-0, 12 KO) stopped Kansas City, MO veteran Demetrius Walker (8-13-2, 4 KO) al primo turno.
2012 Azerbaijani Olympian Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev debuted successfully by outpointing Wichita resident Brandon Phillips Black (1-1, 1 KO) in una gara di pesi medi.

Trey Lippe-Morrison Headlines Saturday in Miami, OK!
Miami, OK (Gennaio 22, 2016) – Heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison will compete in his final six round contest when he faces Thomas Hawkins in the main event of a Holden Productions card at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK.
Coming from the talent laden city of Houston, TX Hawkins has a 4-1 record with one win by knockout. Although he will enter domani fight as the underdog, he sees it as added motivation to spoil future plans for Lippe-Morrison.
“When nobody expects you to win, it puts all of the pressure on your opponent. I’ve seen film on Trey and he’s a tough kid. My trainer knew his father well and Trey is a straight forward fighter just like his dad. As long as I work on what we did in training, we expect to win!"
Perfect as a pro with ten wins all by knockout, Lippe-Morrison’s jaw-dropping power has drawn comparisons to his father. Currently training under the tutelage of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club, the popular Vinita, OK native has huge expectations in boxing circles but must first get past Hawkins.
“It feels good to be moving up from six to eight rounds if all goes as planned,"Ha detto Lippe-Morrison. “I don’t know much about Hawkins outside of some footage I saw on YouTube where he appeared to be a patient and smart fighter that will make you pay for mistakes. My plan is to box him and get rounds in. I never go for knockouts they just happen to come.”
“Trey is the real deal and I plan to put him in big fights within the next year,"Ha detto promoter Tony Holden. “We are going to keep stepping him up and hope to get him rounds but he continues to knock out every man in front of him. I have no doubt that Trey Lippe-Morrison is the next American heavyweight star.”
Highlighting the undercard will be Lippe-Morrison’s “Four State Franchise” stablemates in separate bouts. Along with Lippe-Morrison, the Four State Franchise has fought in front of standing room only crowds on multiple occasions.
Bartlesville, OK based welterweight Jarrett “The Legacy” Rouse will look to make it 9-0 when he squares off with Arkansas’ Juan Parra over six stanzas.
Welterweight Jesse Cook of Seneca, MO aims for his sixteenth victory but Corpus Christi, TX’s John David Charles will attempt pull off the upset and win for the second time in three bouts. Cook and Charles will do battle over six rounds.
In a six round special attraction junior middleweight bout, unbeaten Nathan Gallimore travels from Evanston, IL to put his 10-0-1 ledger on the line against 34 fight veteran Rahman Yusubov of Texas.
