Witherspoon takes on Marrone in 2

Bristol, PA (August 6, 2016) – Chazz Witherspoon scored his fifth consecutive knockout victory as he took out former world title challenger Mike Marrone in round two of their scheduled six-round heavyweight bout in the main event at the Grundy Arena.

The eight-bout card was promoted by D and D Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.

Witherspoon sent Marrone to the canvas in round one with a left hook. Seconds later it was a hard 1-2 that sent Marrone down for a second time.

In the meantime, Witherspoon will continue and promote the sport. Along with D & D Promotions, he is the co-promoter of Saturday’s fight.
“We have been trying to get the word out to the area. It’s a good surrounding area with Neshaminy and Bensalem and just over the bridge, you have Burlington, Florence and Willingboro.”

Bristol, PA (Mayo 13, 2016) – On Saturday night Hunyo 4th, a brand new boxing series will be launched as D and D Promotions presents its inaugural “Rumble at the Rink” Boxing series that will take place at The Grundy Arena in Bristol, Pa.
Scheduled to appear in the six-round main event will be super middleweight Derrick Webster.
Webster sa Glassboro, New Jersey nga adunay usa ka rekord sa 19-1 uban sa 10 knockouts and will be looking to get back in the win column after an eleven-month layoff.
Webster won his first nineteen bouts, which was highlighted by a 22-second knockout over 23-1 Obodai Sai. He is coming off his first professional blemish when he was stopped by undefeated Arif Magomedov on July 17, 2015.
Also scheduled to appear will be super welterweight Elijah Vines (1-0, 1 KO) sa Filadelfia; super bantamweight Vidal Rivera (3-0, 3 KO ni) sa Camden, New Jersey and two-time National Golden Gloves champion Mike Hilton (1-0, 1 KO) sa Filadelfia.

The concept of the series is to feature some of the best up and coming professional talent along with highlighting top amateur fighters in the Delaware Valley on the same fight cards.
D and D Promotions, which consists of David Price and Doc Nowicki believe in the concept of developing professional & amateur fighters and expose them to the boxing fan simultaneously.

The card will feature 4 professional bouts as well as 6 high-level amateur bouts.

“This is a great way for boxing fans to get to know the stars of ugma and have these fighters on the same show. There are a lot of great fighters, both professional and amateur in the area, and this will give them a great outlet to get opportunities to showcase their abilities,” said D and D Promotions David Price.
