BRISCOE AWARDS SET FOR THIS SUNDAY

BRISCOE AWARDS THIS SUNDAY AT 1 PM ET

PHILADELPHIA – After ten years of celebrating the biggest and best achievements of the Philadelphia-area boxing scene, the Briscoe Awards will change the timing of their annual event, from October to March.
“For a few years now, I’ve considered moving the awards up to the first part of the year,” - ասաց Johnոն Դի Սանտոն, Briscoe մրցանակաբաշխության հիմնադիր. “The original Fall time slot caused a lot of confusion, because by the time we gave out the awards, the fights were old news. Undefeated Super Flyweight Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price reflects on Briscoe Award and upcoming April 21st fight

PHILADELPHIA (Երթ 15, 2018)–It will be a busy few weeks for undefeated super flyweight prospect Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price.
The 19 year-old native of Sicklerville, New Jersey who has a perfect mark of 5-0 with all of his wins coming via knockout (Including 4 in the 1st round) will be on-hand at the 11th annual Briscoe Awards to accept the prestigious Rookie of the Year award.

I have won the Everett Award for being the top Amateur of the Year, and to be honored in my short professional career as the rookie of the year I am just ecstatic. I want to thank John DiSanto for selecting me. I also would like to thank everyone that voted for me, as well as my managers Doc Nowicki, and my dad and trainer David Price. I am really looking forward to March 25th.”
Price is managed by D and D Management and is promoted by Mayweather Promotions.

JARON ENNIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH IN PHILLY

BRUNSON SETS RECORD WITH THREE BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – PA State junior middleweight champion TYRONE Brunson will be honored with three Briscoe Awards for the eventful year he had in 2017. During the year, Brunson’s efforts won him three bouts, two belts, and kept his career on track for a big fight in 2018. For these accomplishments, Brunson will take home three Briscoe Awards վրա March 25th– “Philly Fighter of the Year”, “Philly Պայքար Տարվա”, իսկ “Performance of the Year”. MARCEL RIVERS TO BE HONORED FOR BIGGEST KO OF THE YEAR

JASON SOSA NAMED “2016 PHILLY FIGHTER OF THE YEAR”

PHILADELPHIA – Camden, NJ junior lightweight Jason Sosa, takes home the Briscoe Award as the “2016 Philly Fighter of the Year”, Կիրակի at the annual awards event presented by Philly Boxing History Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the Philadelphia fight scene – past and present.
Sosa upended the boxing world in 2016 by raising his game to the championship level and pulling off two upsets that few experts gave him the slightest chance of winning.

TANEAL GOYCO TO WIN “UPSET OF THE YEAR” AT BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – Philly super middleweight Taneal Goyco, returns to the Briscoe Awards for his second-ever trophy for the “Upset of the Year”. Goyco won the same award two years ago and repeats for 2016, with his shocker over rising Maryland prospect Jerry Odom.
