SALINAS, COMME (Août 30, 2018) – Prince Ranch de boxe (PRB) is thrilled to announce the signing of undefeated power-punching middleweight prospect, Rudy Puga (9-0, 8 KOs), who will be making his return to the ring on September 8, 2018, à San Antonio, TX. Puga, who last fought in April of 2017, was recently released from Roc Nation Sports, after a short stint with Top Rank early in his career. The hard-hitting middleweight is looking to get back on the fast track to a world title with a spectacular performance on September 8e.

 

 

 

“I’m very happy to be part of the Prince Ranch Boxing family,” said Rudy Puga, who will most likely fight above the middleweight limit of 160 lbs. in his first fight back. “I’m very excited to be making my return to the ring in September. I’m sure there will be some ring rust that I’ll need to shed, but everyone knows I’m always looking for the knockout. If I get my opponent hurt, I’m certainly going to try to take him out.”

The deal calls for a monthly series of events presented by Premier Boxing Champions to air live on SHOWTIME, ensuring the network’s access to the deepest talent pool in boxing and its continued ability to deliver the industry’s leading programming. The agreement also calls for Premier Boxing Champions to deliver content for a significant expansion of live boxing programming from SHOWTIME Sports coming in 2019. PITTSBURGH – Août 29, 2018 – Victory Boxing Promotions de Chris Middendorf a signé un amateur sous le radar Kiante Irving à une offre promotionnelle. Le 24 Un poids moyen d'un an devrait faire ses débuts professionnels ce dimanche en Virginie-Occidentale.

 

 

 

A 6’3″ moyens, Irving entame les débuts de dimanche avec un championnat national des gants d'or à son actif, ayant dominé la division des 165 livres dans le 2018 tournoi. Malgré une multitude de titres d'État et nationaux à son actif, Irving a commencé à boxer tard, par rapport à ses pairs.

 

 

Il était 16 quand il est entré dans la salle de sport de Tom Yankello, avoir été attiré par le cercle carré après avoir été incapable de trouver sa place dans d'autres sports. Élevé par une mère célibataire, la boxe était un débouché pour Irving, et a servi d'échappatoire à la pauvreté et au stress qui régnaient sa vie à la maison. Après sa victoire aux gants d'or, Tom Yankello, l'entraîneur d'Irving, et son frère et co-manager Mark Yankello, avec Irving, est venu à la décision qu'il était temps de rejoindre les rangs professionnels. “Once you’re in there with me, it’s not the same as anyone else. It’s not the same as what you expect it to be. You’re in for a rude awakening.

 

 

 

“I’ve knocked out a lot of fighters for the first time, so it won’t be surprising to me if I knock Shawn Porter out for the first time.

 

 

 

“Shawn had to have some skill to get to this level, it wasn’t all brawling. Je ne prends rien loin de lui. We’re prepared for the best Shawn Porter.

“In boxing they say the more you throw, the more open you are to get hit. Volume punching has to be effective. I’m the sharper boxer and I land the cleaner punches. That’s more my style. We’ve prepared ourselves for 12 hard rounds of any style.

 

 

 

“After four rounds you can really tell how strong a fighter is and how good their conditioning is. It’s all about the will power after a certain amount of rounds and I carry that well.

 

 

 

“We’ve had perfect sparring with guys who just come forward and put pressure on you. We’ve had bigger, heavier guys and some guys who jab and box how the way that Porter does.

BROOKLYN (Août 29, 2018) – Brooklyn Chris Colbert returns to the ring in his hometown to take on once-beaten Sulaiman Segawa in an eight-round featherweight match as he looks to continue his rise up the ladder in the talent-laden 126-pound division. Colbert (8-0, 3 KOs) is coming off a stoppage victory over previously unbeaten Austin Dulay in April and will fight at Barclays Center for the third time on September 8. The 21-year-old southpaw from Brooklyn is one of the most decorated amateurs to come out of New York in recent years and he has gained esteem by showing off his incredible speed and technique so far in his pro career. In his last fight at Barclays Center, Colbert scored a unanimous decision over then undefeated Titus Williams last November, in addition to making his pro debut at the arena in 2015. He will be opposed by Segawa (11-1, 4 KOs), who fights out of Silver Spring, Maryland by way of Uganda. The 27-year-old most recently stopped previously unbeaten Hector Lopez in May.

World-Rated Super Middleweight Aslambek ‘The Hulk’ Idigov Returns to the Ring on September 5 in Grozny, Russia against Daniel Wanyonyi

World-rated Russian super middleweight prospect Aslambek “The Hulk” Idigov will return to action on Wednesday, Septembre 5, in his hometown of Grozny, Russie, against former African champion Daniel Wanyonyi for the WBA Asian Championship.

 

 

 

Idigov (13-0, 5 KOs), Évalué #14 par la WBO, will face the experienced Kenyan Wanyonyi (27-12-2, 22 KOs) at the five-star Grozny City Hotel in Grozny, and televised live in Russia on Match TV.
