Bethlehem, Pennsylvanie (Octobre 16, 2018) –Three-time Olympian and undefeated Anvar Yunusov prend Joshua Davis in the eight-round super featherweight main event on vendredi soir, 16 novembre à The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Villa Ruben (14-0, 5 KOs) Shines in Front of Hometown Fans on Saturday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Californie. (Octobre. 15, 2018) – Featherweight Ruben Villa (14-0, 5 KOs) returned to his hometown for the second time in his career and delivered a thrilling, one-sided performance against the game Miguel Carrizoza (10-4, 2 KOs) Saturday night from a sold-out Storm House in Salinas, Californie.

 

 

 

Villa, 21, used terrific footwork to find the angles against Carrizoza in route to a sweep of the scorecards in the 8-round main event. Tout au long du combat, Villa hammered Carrizoza with a stiff jab, followed by a thundering left hand. It was an outstanding display of accuracy for the southpaw in his fifth fight of the year.

“The Scorpion Sting” Mladen Brestovac delivered the knockout of the night, with a blistering high left kick to the head of Jhonata Diniz at the two-minute mark of Round 3.

A series of solid punches from Veseli rocked Ambang and sent him to a kneeling position at the 1:23 mark of the Round number four.

 

 

 

In the boxing portion of the evening, Shawn Miller, of Troy, New York (19-4-1) won a unanimous decision victory in his ten round title fight with Dennis “Mongoose” Morris (14-3-1). Miller won by the scores of 100-90, 97-93, 97-93, earning him the WBU Cruiserweight Championship.

 

 

 

In the FFC MMA Welterweight Championship, Ben Egli lived up to his reputation as an expert submission artist by choking out Roberto Neves at the 3:21 marque de la première ronde. Egli won the fight by rear naked choke, something he has done a total of five times in his pro MMA career. The championship victory brings Egli’s record to (11-2-0) while Neves falls to (10-3-0).

Reyes stops Garces; Silva batters Forero at “Night of Champions” in St. Pétersbourg

St. Pétersbourg, FL (Octobre 11, 2018) – Welterweight Mark Reyes Jr. Captured the ABF Continental Americas title with a third round stoppage of Mexico’s Juan Garces Saturday, Octobre 6.

 

 

 

“Night of Champions” was promoted by Fire Fist Boxing Promotions and the 11 bout card took place in front of a standing room only crowd at The Coliseum in St. Pétersbourg, FL.

 

 

 

The card was broadcast live on Fite.TV and featured ringside commentary from Fire Fist Boxing Promotions’ very own Connor “The Kid” Coyle.

 

 

 

With a large group of supporters on hand, Reyes got off to a fast start and buzzed Garces with a hard right cross in the opening stanza. The popular 22-year-old Tampa native had a clear speed advantage and was able to consistently beat Garces to the punch in the second, though Garces did land a few good shots.

 

 

 

At the beginning of round three, Reyes threw a body shot that accidentally landed on Garces’ inner thigh. Garces immediately crashed to the canvas and appeared to be in significant pain. After an extended delay, Graces couldn’t continue and Reyes was awarded a TKO victory.

 

 

 

“It was an accidental low blow but I hit him on the thigh,” Reyes said following the victory. “I hurt him to the body in the second and he tried to use this as an opportunity to quit because he didn’t want to fight.”

 

 

 

Reyes dedicated his victory to the Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa. Team Reyes raised funds for the Children’s Cancer Center by donating all proceeds from fight night merchandise sales.

 

 

 

Reyes is now 8-0 avec 6 KO’s while Garces slips to 28-22 (18 KO).

 

 

 

Lightweight contender Willian “Babyface” Silva of Plant City, FL by way of Brazil became the ABF Continental Lightweight champion by dominating game Panamanian Jose Forero en-route to a 9e round stoppage. Silva displayed excellent boxing skills and was in complete control during the first eight rounds. Dans le 9e, Silva decked Forero hard and a follow up barrage forced the stoppage at 1:49.

 

 

 

Silva improves his professional ledger to 26-2 avec 15 victories by KO. Forero is 13-8-1 (11 KO).

Bantamweights Avril Mathie of Miami Beach, FL by way of Australia and Dallas, TX’s Samantha Salazar battled to a thrilling six round draw in a match up for theWomen’s ABF Continental Americas 118 titre de livre. In what was without question the fight of the night, Mathie and Salazar fearlessly exchanged punches throughout the contest. After the final bell, both women were met with a round of applause.

Kenneth Sims, Jr. returns Saturday night against Andrew Rodgers in Gary, Indiana

CHICAGO, IL., (Octobre 11, 2018) – Junior Welterweight Kenneth Sims, Jr. will be back in action this Saturday night when he takes on Andrew Rodgers in a six-round bout at The McBride Hall in Gary, Indiana.

 

 

 

Sims of nearby Chicago will be back in the ring for the first time since taking an eight-round split decision over previously undefeated Montana Love on July 20th in a bout that was nationally televised on ShoBox: La Nouvelle Génération sur Showtime.

 

 

 

Sims (12-1-1, 4 KOs) has been working in Houston, Texas with some top-notch sparring partners, which will help him go forward in his career.

 

 

 

“Mon camp était grande. It was a full camp with my strength and conditioning coach. I got great sparring with O’Shaquie Foster, Regis Prograis, and Taras Shelestyuk,” said Sims.

 

 

 

In Rodgers, Sims is taking on an unheralded opponent in what most a terming a “stay busy fight.”

 

 

 

“I really do not know much about him. I am taking this fight as it is close to home. I have been fighting in different places, so this is a good opportunity for my family and fans to see me fight.”

 

 

 

After being injured for the better part of the last year, Sims is looking to stay active at the end of the 2018 and into 2019.

 

 

 

“I hope to have another fight before the end of the year. It doesn’t matter if it another fight like this or something more significant. It all depends on the situation.”

PHILADELPHIA, PENN / CHICAGO, MAUVAIS. (Octobre 11, 2018)-Ce samedi, 2015 champion poids lourd Boxcino, Andrey Fedosov (30-3, 25 KOs) va prendre Dawejko difficile Joey dans un combat de 10 rounds à Ekaterinburg, Russie.

 

 

 

Ce sera 2ème combat de Fedosov au cours des quatre derniers mois après avoir battu Francisco Mireles au 1er tour le 30 Juin à Phoenix, Arizona.

WBO SUR SAUNDERS-ANDRADE

World Boxing Organization (WBO) Le président Francisco Valcárcel Mulero a commenté aujourd'hui l'incapacité de Billy Joe Saunders à défendre son championnat du monde des poids moyens, conformément à l'accord contractuel, contre Demetrius Andrade le 20 octobre.

 

Ceci après que la Commission sportive de l'État du Massachusetts a voté aujourd'hui contre l'octroi d'une licence de boxe à la suite d'un test de dopage raté le 30 août..

 

“Il est dommage qu'un boxeur aussi talentueux que Saunders soit confronté à cette polémique et ne puisse pas défendre le titre,” dit Valcarcel aujourd'hui. “La WBO examinera la situation avec une diligence raisonnable et procédera conformément à ses «Règles & Les règlements déterminent quelle est la bonne marche à suivre”.

 

Valcárcel, un avocat en exercice, a ajouté que si Andrade combat le premier concurrent disponible, le comité du championnat WBO envisagera de sanctionner le combat.

Président de la WBO, Francisco «Paco» Valcárcel, Esq a réagi à Billy Joe Saunders’ commentaires publics concernant son statut de titre mondial:

 

«B.J. Saunders a volontairement quitté le titre WBO Middleweight, et s'est publiquement excusé pour sa violation des règlements antidopage de la Commission des sports du Massachusetts ".

 

"Par conséquent, l'affrontement entre Demetrius Andrade et Walter Kautondonkwa prévu pour le 20 octobre sera désormais pour la couronne mondiale vacante ».

 

"Aussi, Je recommanderai au Comité exécutif de la WBO que Saunders reçoive une suspension de six mois pour sa transgression ».

COLORADO SPRINGS, Tour. (Octobre 8, 2018) — Houston poids plume Roma Martinez, qui représente la prochaine vague de boxeurs féminins États-Unis, est actuellement en Argentine pour faire une déclaration aux Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse d'été en cours Buenos Aires 2018.

Le Martinez, âgé de 18 ans a commencé la boxe il y a six ans, quand son beau-père est venu dans sa vie, l'emmener à une salle de boxe locale pour l'aider à éviter des ennuis potentiels, et de se défendre.

 

 

 

Elle est étudiante en ligne à l'Université de Saint Thomas à Houston, la planification à grande dans les affaires, et les Roms a été en mesure d'équilibrer son horaire chargé pour une raison simple. “Je n'ai pas beaucoup d'une vie sociale,” elle a admis, “il est donc facile pour moi de former et d'étude.”
 

 

L'Argentine est le deuxième pays étranger, elle a voyagé d'avoir participé Novembre dernier en Inde. Même si elle a une carrière amateur relativement limitée, Martinez a réussi à capturer les honneurs à six événements nationaux: 2016 Etats-Unis Boxe Nationals, 2014 & 2015 Batte lf l'Univers, 20-15 Femmes Gant d'or, 2-15 Championnats nationaux juniors olympiques, et 2014 Gants Brown.

 

 

 

Comme beaucoup de ses coéquipiers de l'équipe USA, en plus des adversaires de partout dans le monde, Roma espère qu'elle peut Parlay une performance impressionnante à Buenos Aires pour améliorer ses chances de se qualifier éventuellement pour la 2020 Jeux Olympiques au Japon.

 

 

 

“Les Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse est la plus grande chose dans ma carrière parce que j'espère participer à la 2020 Jeux olympiques,” Martinez dit. “Les Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse est presque aussi grand que les Jeux Olympiques, seuls les jeunes athlètes en compétition. Je prends les choses un jour à la fois, mais je n'ai des objectifs pour rendre les Jeux Olympiques, gagner une médaille d'or, puis devenir pro et gagner un titre mondial.

 

 

“Ceci est ma dernière compétition des jeunes. Ce Décembre, je proposerai à la Division Elite. Il y aura une différence d'âge (de ses adversaires) et plus de concurrence internationale, mais j'ai besoin de cette expérience pour atteindre mes objectifs.”

 

 

 

Roma, elle dit, est un boxeur technique qui apporte de temps en temps la pression. Son boxeur préféré est le grand “Sucre” Ray Leonard et elle a l'air jusqu'à Nicola Adams (2012 & 2016 médaillé d'or olympique de Grande-Bretagne) et Mikaela Mayer (2016 États-Unis aux Jeux olympiques). Roma a profité des séances de sparring avec Adams et Mayer, respectivement, à Houston et Colorado Springs.

 

 

 

Martinez estime que la boxe féminine est à la hausse et elle attend avec impatience son avenir. “Les plus haut boxeuses seront plus grandes choses signifie pour nous,” Martinez a ajouté, “Nous aurons plus de temps de télévision et de faire plus d'argent.”

 

 

 

Crédits Roma Etats-Unis de boxe pour son apprendre à être disciplinée et elle est reconnaissante pour l'encadrement exceptionnel qu'elle a reçu. Martinez envisage de voyager beaucoup dans l'avenir et quand elle gagne son diplôme d'affaires, Roma est déterminé à l'utiliser à son avantage, posséder un restaurant et, peut-être, une salle de gym pour qu'elle puisse rester dans la boxe après qu'elle raccroche ses gants chemin sur la route.
