Knockout Fitness to provide full day of entertainment with fight card!

Baltimore, MD (Juni 1, 2015) – Knockout Fitness and Nissley Promotions will give ticket holders a full day of entertainment with an Olympic style boxing card Zaterdag, Juni 6 at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore.

Dubbed as “Fighting the Odds,” this is the first fight card at a Baltimore Casino and a limited numbers tickets starting at $20 are still available by going to www.missiontix.com/events/product/30693/fighting-the-odds of te bellen 443-848-6059. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Show Your Soft Side campaign, which supports animal rights and features many marketing campaigns with Baltimore area professional athletes.

The fight is taking place outside in the plaza and will feature a red carpet style theme. Upon entering on the red carpet, professional photos will be taken with props. De eerste 100 attendees will also receive a free gift and Knockout Fitness will give away healthy meals and gym memberships throughout the event.

“Giving fans their money’s worth is extremely important to us,” said Chris Nissley of Knockout Fitness. “This is the first ever fight card at a Baltimore casino and instead of just celebrating that as is, I wanted this event to provide even more. Between the photos, giveaways and fights, everybody is going to have a great time.”

Headlining the card is Knockout Fitness’ very own Jason Nissley. A widely respected trainer, Nissley was named Baltimore’s Best Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor by Baltimore’s Best Magazine. He has participated in various charity events and is an ambassador for LuluLemon and Under Armor. Making the jump from trainer to boxer, Nissley hasn’t been matched soft.

Opposing Nissley is unbeaten knockout artist Omar Serrano. Fighting out of the Ocean City Fight Club, Serrano’s won all of his bouts by knockout and will enter the squared circle with a ton of confidence.

Jerome Featherstone of Knockout Fitness seeks revenge against Tavon Body of the Headbangers Gym in the semi-main event of the evening. Featherstone captured the Golden Gloves title a few years back, but Body took the title following the last two tournaments. In april, Body earned a hotly contested split decision over Featherstone in an action packed fight. This heated rivalry features the two top middleweight prospects in the Maryland/DC area. In addition to bragging rights, the winner of this highly-anticipated bout will claim the Maryland State Middleweight title.

“Jerome and Tavon had a great fight that a lot of people are still talking about,” said Nissley. “Jerome feels that he deserved the last fight and wants revenge while Tavon is poised to show that there should be no controversy as to who the better fighter is. This is turning into a great local rivalry for sure.”

In andere periodes, Steve Layer of Knockout Fitness meets Adam Gabriel and Stephon Morris will compete in his final amateur match.

Following this exciting evening of action, Knockout Fitness and Nissley Promotions will host an after party at the 14Forty, which is located inside the casino.

Miami, OK (Mei 31, 2015) - De bekende zwaargewicht-up en comer Trey Lippe-Morrison bleef perfect als pro na weer een indrukwekkende knock-out gisteravond in het Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK.

Vechten voor een uitverkochte menigte, iets waaraan hij gewend is geraakt als lid van Holden Productions '' Four State Franchise ', Lippe-Morrison stond tegenover Thomas Jones in het hoofdtoernooi van zes ronden. Met de legendarische trainer Jesse Reid voor het eerst in zijn hoek, Lippe-Morrison scoorde een indrukwekkende onderbreking van de tweede ronde van Jones. Na het domineren van de eerste ronde, Lippe-Morrison ontketende een vicieuze combinatie die Jones ernstig deed wankelen, dwingt zijn hoek om gewoon de handdoek in de ring te gooien 35 seconden na de start van de ronde.

Lip-Morrison, die in Tulsa woont, nu 8-0 met al zijn overwinningen door knock-out.

Kenzie Witt van Bartelsville, OK ging voor het eerst de afstand als prof, maar verbeterde 5-0 na een unaniem besluit van vier ronden over Lucas Overcast in Kansas City MO. Williams stops Bowles in six in Danbury Fight Night main event

Danbury, CT (Mei 30, 2015)--Prospect Tramaine Williams capped off a great night of boxing with a 6th round stoppage over Josh Bowles in the final scheduled round of their Featherweight bout at the Danbury Arena.

The show was the Inaugural Danbury Fight Night promoted by Prize Promotions.

The main event saw Williams show his quick hand speed to outpoint Bowles for most of the fight. In the final round, Williams landed a booming straight left that sent Bowles down hard on his back. Bowles did well to get to his feet only to take a barrage of punches and the fight was stopped at 1:36 of round six.

Williams, 124 Ibs New Haven, CT is nu 9-0 met 3 knock-outs. Bowles, 123.75 lbs of Harrisburg, PA is nu 9-2.

Nate Green remained undefeated by pounding out a 6-round unanimous decision over Timur Shailezov in a Bantamweight bout.

Scores waren 60-54, 59-55 en 58-56 for Green, 118 Ibs New Haven, CT and is now 8-0. Shailezov, 118 lbs of Philadelphia is 17-10-1.

Josh Crespo scored a thrilling first round stoppage over Edgar Cortes in a scheduled 6-round Featherweight bout.

Crespo decked Cortes with a hard right hand in the opening seconds of the bout. Cortes got to his feet but ate a barrage of jarring punches before the bout was stopped at 2:20 van de eerste ronde.

Crespo, 124.5 Ibs New Haven, CT. nu 4-2-3 met 1 knock out. Cortes, 121 lbs of Vineland, NJ. is 1-1.

All three judges were in agreement of the 57-57 scores. Sneeuw, 154.5 lbs of New York, NY is nu 8-2-2. Sanchez, 154 lbs of Camden, NJ is now 5-6-2.

In thrilling 4-round war, Andrew Bentley scored a majority decision over previously undefeated Oscar Bonilla in a Lightweight bout.

The two slugged it out to the delight of enthusiastic crowd. Bentley was able to tag a hard charging Bonilla as he came in. There were several toe to toe exchanges were both guys ate heavy leather.

Bentley, 131 pond van Jersey City, NJ gewonnen door scores van 40-36, 39-37 en 38-38 en is nu 3-2. Bonilla, 132 Ibs New Haven, CT. nu 3-1-2.

Cassius Chaney landed plenty of power shots and dominated Ruben Ortiz and won a 4-round unanimous decision in a Heavyweight bout.

Chaney, 244 lbs of New London, CT won by scores of 40-36 op alle kaarten en is nu 2-0. Ortiz, 210 lbs of Philadelphia is now 0-4.

Jair Ramos scored a 6-round unanimous decision over Osnel Charles in een Jr. Weltergewicht bout.

Ramos, 139 lbs of Waterbury, CT won by scores of 59-54 op alle kaarten en is nu 4-2-2. Charles, 138 lbs of Atlantic City, NJ is now 10-13-1.

BROOKLYN (Mei 30, 2015) – Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) op Aarkeerde terug naar het Barclays Center in Brooklyn op vrijdag nacht met weer een explosieve nacht vol aanvallen voor vechtfans. In het main event, Emir “Koning” Khan (31-3, 19 KO) scoorde een sluwe en hard bevochten unanieme beslissing Chris Algieri (20-2, 8 KO) en Javier Fortuna (28-0-1, 20 KO) won een unaniem besluitoverwinning voor het publiek Bryan Vasquez (34-2, 18 KO) in de op televisie uitgezonden opener.

AMIR KHAN

“Ik dacht dat ik van binnen goed werkte. Ik heb nog nooit zo veel werk in de zak gedaan en ik ben van plan daar in de toekomst meer van te doen.

“Ik geef Chris veel lof. Hij kwam veel meer naar voren dan we dachten dat hij zou doen en hij had een grote kin vanavond.

“Chris heeft alles gegeven vanavond. Dit is de beste Algieri die we in lange tijd hebben gezien, en als hij Manny had bevochten (Pacquiao) op die manier had hij kunnen winnen.

“Iedereen weet dat ik Floyd wil (Mayweather) volgende na al het gepraat erover, maar als je zo lang op iets wacht, kan het je tegenhouden. Ik wil geen andere vechters over het hoofd zien, inclusief Chris.

“Mijn eerste show met PBC was geweldig. Het publiek in New York was geweldig en raakte er echt in geïnteresseerd. De promotie was uitstekend en ik ben er trots op deel uit te maken van dit team.”

CHRIS Algieri

“Ik dacht dat ik Khan goed onder druk zette en kreeg mijn aanrakingen. Hij vond het absoluut niet leuk toen ik in zijn lichaam kwam.

“Ik dacht dat ik hem meerdere keren pijn had gedaan, maar Khan is een terughoudende vechter en hij draait weg. Ik denk dat de juryleden dat leuk vonden vanavond. Ik zou denken dat de stofzuiger, hardere schoten zouden wat meer respect krijgen.

“Ik vind PBC fantastisch. De focus ligt op de jagers, niet de politiek of de initiatiefnemers. Dit helpt de sport terug te brengen naar de gloriedagen van boksen van primetime-evenementen voor de fans.

“Ik heb niet veel over nagedacht na dit gevecht. Ik ben teleurgesteld, maar ik zal de film van dit gevecht bekijken en vanaf daar gaan we verder.”

JAVIER FORTUNA

“Ik ben erg verrast dat het gevecht de hele afstand ging. Vasquez is een sterke vechter. Na de vijfde ronde, Ik was aan het boksen om punten te scoren.

“Ik ben nooit echt gekwetst door Vasquez, maar ik heb mijn eigen hand op zijn hoofd bezeerd.

“Vasquez had tijdens het gevecht niet echt invloed op me. De zwelling in mijn oog is van een kopstoot.

“De grootste sleutel tot mijn succes vanavond was mijn training. Hiervoor had ik niet het uithoudingsvermogen dat ik nodig had. Echter, na mijn werk met Hector Bermudez in de aanloop naar dit gevecht was ik er meer dan klaar voor.

“Kampioen worden hier in New York is enorm voor mij. Ik ben erg trots op mijn prestatie vanavond.”

BRYAN VASQUEZ

“Mijn stijl is om te boksen en dan te bewegen. Fortuna vocht een slim gevecht vanavond. Hij wilde me niet aanspreken en vechten.

“Fortuna gebruikte zijn hoofd en ellebogen veel vanavond, maar ik wil dat niet als excuus gebruiken. Ik probeerde het de scheidsrechter te vertellen, maar er werd niets gedaan.

Undefeated Super Middleweight Derrick “Take It To The Bank” Webster back in action on TONIGHT in Memphis

Memphis, Tennessee ( Mei 29, 2015)— VANAVOND at the W.C. Handy Pavilion in Memphis, Tennessee, undefeated Super Middleweight, Boortoren “Take it to the Bank” Webster will make his first start of 2015 when he takes on William Johnson in a six-round bout that is part of a card that will be televised live on CBS Sports Network.

Webster is promoted by GH3 Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions.

Webster van Glassboro, New Jersey heeft een record van 18-0 met 9 knockouts and has not been sitting idle during the six months he has not been in the ring.

“Training is geweldig. We had some dates moved on us, so we stayed at home for camp. We used a lot of different sparring partners and I have a new strength and conditioning coach. I did a lot of new things such as running the bleachers, some great ab work as well, ” said Webster.

Webster has been no stranger to layoffs as guys are not running fast to face the 6’4″ inch southpaw who has displayed good boxing ability and power.

“It frustrates me but I have been dealing with it my whole career. I know I should be a lot further along but now I have promoters and managers (D & D Management) that should help ease that problem. Dus met dat in het achterhoofd, I can’t wait to see what is to come.”

In Johnson, Webster is fighting a guy with a pedestrian record but that was not by choice.

“It is hard to get up for this opponent. We had at least 12 guys turn down the fight for one reason or another. There is nothing I can do to make guys fight me. I am just going into this fight to get a win and start fighting the upper echelon guys. I think I will come right back in July and we will be fighting for some regional titles.”

“I appreciate the support. I love my family and fans. This fight will end in a knockout. I am glad I can display this on national television and the world will finally recognize what they have been missing and that is that I am the best southpaw in boxing.”

AROMAS, ZOALS(Mei 28, 2015)- Four-Division world champion, “Robert “The Ghost” Krijger (32-3-1, 18 KO) hosted a media workout yesterday at the CrossFit Ranch to shed light on his upcoming fight with Aron Martinez. The 10-round main-event bout will take place at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Juni 6, 2015 and will air live on NBC starting at 3:00 p.m. EN/12:00 p.m. PT.

Krijger, who won the hearts of America with his gut wrenching performance against Keith Thurman in his last fight, is looking forward to another main-event attraction where he can showcase his entertaining fighting style to the fans.

“All the hard training is done and now it’s time to zone in,” zei Robert Guerrero. “Everyone should be watching the PBC on NBC June 6thbecause I believe this is going to be a crowd-pleasing fight. Aron Martinez is not coming to lay down. He’s had plenty of time to prepare for this fight and I’m expecting him to come out guns blazing. Eén ding is zeker, I’m going to be throwing some hard shots right from the opening bell. My goal is to bring an entertaining fight to the fans and let my hands go. Fight night can’t come soon enough.”

Headlining his second PBC on NBC, Guerrero wants continue fighting on a regular basis. Known for being an all-out action fighter, Guerrero feels he can close out the rest of 2015 met een knal.

In a six-round Super Middleweight bout Farah Ennis (21-2, 12 KO's) will make his return to the ring after a 22 month hiatus when he takes on Michael Gbenga (20-19, 20 KO's)

Ennis, who was last seen dropping a 10-round unanimous decision to new WBC Super Middleweight champion Badou Jack, is looking to get back into contention with a big outing over the veteran from Ghana.

“Training is goed geweest. I only know that Gbenga is from Ghana,” said Ennis.

After what Ennis admitted was a lackluster performance against Jack, he needed some time away from the sport in order to get himself back on track.

“I took the time off to get my mind together. In that fight I didn’t let my hands go. I was thinking too much and I know I could have beat him. It just wasn’t my night.”

Ennis also took the time off to get into some training camps and improve on his own game.

“I was in camp with David Lemieux for when he fought Gabriel Rosado. It was during that time I got my head back and now is where I need to be. I need to go out and listen to my dad (Trainer Bozy Ennis). I am in 32 Nu jaar oud. Dit is het. It is either all or nothing.”

“I just hope everyone comes out and supports as I am looking to put on a show and start the next phase of my career.”

Ennis weighed 167 pond op Donderdag wegen. Gbenga checked in at 169.

Inn in Philadelphia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of boxing that will headlined by 10-round Jr. Lightweight bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO's) en Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO's).

De Alba van Reading, PA has been one of the hottest fighters on the East Coast as he has won 13 straight bouts and is unbeaten since dropping his professional debut in 2011.

De 27 year-old is coming into his own and has been training hard in preparation for this bout against Uribe.

“Training is geweldig. I feel 100% and this truly has been one of the best camps I have ever had. I really feel like I am in the best shape in my career,” Said De Alba.

Like two of his last three opponents, Jose Bustos and Pablo Batres, Uribe is a tough yet unknown fighter from Mexico who sports a solid record.

“He is a unknown guy with a decent record. Daarnaast, I don’t know much about him but that doesn’t matter as I train for any style that he may bring.”

De Alba is on the cusp of some big fights in the Jr. Lightweight division and he can’t look past Uribe to get those opportunities.

De Alba, who works in an warehouse foundry, knows that the next year is a moving year and those big fights are on the horizon.
