INTRODUCTION
DiNardo Boxing Equipment is born from a historical experience in the field of Italian haute couture.
HISTORICAL NOTES
Filippo Leccese DiNardo, born inTurin,Italy in 1978, after having worked as a tailor in the family business, which was passed down from generation to generation,he decided to shift his attention and his skill for an artisan product.
After years of practice of the sport of boxing, and after obtaining the patents, which enable them to the teaching of the Noble Art, by analyzing constantly this industry and everything that surrounds it, began to devote himself to the creation of a line of boxing gloves made entirely by hand in Italy, only by Filippo.
Analyses with lot’s of attention, aspects that no manufacturer in the world consider,as for example the fact that the gloves after a short time of use, Descompostura, and that there is no kind of support from the manufacturers of this product, and then those who buy a glove which breaks or has problems, has no other solution than to buy another pair,but not with Di Nardo.
PRODUCTION
DiNardo, Boxing Equipment, is a workshop, in Turin, Italia, specialized int he production of boxing gloves professional.
DiNardo gloves, is the only one of its kind, created by the hands of an expert craftsman, Filippo Leccese DiNardo, from which it takes its name,it is also important to indicate that he is the only one to touch the glove during the phases of production, up to the seal of the product itself.
All raw materials applied for the production of this product,are the result of a meticulous market research,whose aim is to transform this article into something superior, not just a boxing glove, but something long-lasting, indestructible,while maintaining unchanged the processes of craft production that distinguishes a product made by hand,from the municipalities and industrial articles, which now invade the world market, bringing in high with dignity and respect,the right value of Italian craftsmanship,100% pure made in Italy.
The boxing gloves are divided into two groups:
– Professional fighting gloves
– Professional training gloves
DiNardo training gloves are composed of a padding of moulded polyurethane foam and agglomeration of high-density, non-deformable,while the fighting boxing gloves,are made from a polyurethane foam padding and horsehair,which is very much appreciated by the sluggers boxers, as it is a padding very stiff and hard.
The outside of the glove is created of genuine cowhide leather of first choice, tanned and processed according to ancient traditions of italian tanning, which are considered the best in the world.
The inside of the glove is lined entirely with a fabric made from polyamide and silver thread warp- knitted,anti-static and ultra-resistant to abrasion, with high antibacterial and anti odor permanent, giving the glove a high-tech look and file.
The trivial liners of polyester, or cotton canvas, jeans, commonly applied to the glove by the vast majority of the manufacturers of these articles, cause, the inside of the glove, the occurrence of unpleasant odors caused by high-bacterial load, with the consequence of being able to contract warts and/or fungus on the hands of the one who wears it.
DiNardo gloves is sewn entirely of wire or kevlar-non-deformable, with the same weight, 5 times stronger than steel,indestructible, resistant to heat and flames, applied up to now for the production of vests, anti-bullet, equipment for extreme sports, and much more.

One of the most accomplished female fighters in the sport, McCarter has fought at the highest level since turning pro in 1998. She has won titles at featherweight, ligero, super lightweight and super welterweight. En 2008 she became the WBA Lightweight World Champion by defeating Jelena Mrdjenovich in Canada and successfully defended it against Fujin Raika in 2009. McCarter has won 15 fights in a row entering April 29 including a victory over Noni Tenge that earned her the vacant WBA Super Welterweight Championship.
The 26-year-old Szabados turned pro in 2014 and won her first five fights. Fighting out of Hungary, she challenged Nikki Adler for a 168-pound world title in 2015. She would go on to win her next four fights as she built her way up the ladder. Szabados has a pair of stoppage wins in 2017 sandwiched around a challenge of two-time Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields in March.
Un profesional desde 2014, Miller won his first nine pro fights as he used his speed and skills to out box opponents. Originally from Memphis but now living and training in Las Vegas, Miller has won three fights in a row including a stoppage victory over Carlos Castillo, a decision over previously unbeaten Maynard Allison and most recently a second-round TKO of Ronald Rivas last October in Las Vegas.
Luchando fuera de Las Vegas, Gutierrez was undefeated in his first 15 pro outings including a victory over Rashad Ganaway that earned him a regional lightweight title. The 28-year-old owns victories over previously unbeaten Mike Maldonado and veterans Roberto Acevedo and Pablo Becerra.

BROOKLYN (Abril 23, 2017) - Shawn Porter anotó un nocaut en el noveno asalto de Otros Berto to become the WBC’s mandatory challenger to unified welterweight champion Keith Thurman in the main event of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, presentado por Premier Boxing Champions, Sábado night on SHOWTIME from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

With the convincing victory, Porter potentially earns a rematch with Thurman, who he narrowly lost to last June in a 2016 Fight of the Year candidate at Barclays Center, la casa de BROOKLYN BOXEO ™.

 

The welterweight matchup was a rough and tumble affair from the opening bell. Desgaste (27-2-1, 17 KOs) barreled forward to smother the offense of Berto (31-5, 24 KOs), pounding Berto’s body at close range. A deep gash opened over Porter’s left eye from an accidental headbutt in the second, and another opened over his right eye just two rounds later. Porter’s constant aggressiveness and effective body work seemed to frustrate Berto, who struggled to stay off the ropes.

 

An odd series of events unfolded in the opening minute of the ninth round. With Berto unsteady on his feet following another clash of heads, Porter pounced and floored the former champ with a left hook for his second knockdown of the fight. Berto got up, but Porter continued to connect with Berto against the ropes and referee Mark Nelson waved off the contest at 1:31. He has a dangerous uppercut but we had a great game plan. This was a just very hard fought battle by both of us and I’m blessed to get the victory.”

Jermell Charlo defended his WBC Super Welterweight World Championship in dominant fashion with a devastating sixth-round knockout of mandatory challenger Charles Hatley in the co-main event of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING.

 

Charlo (29-0, 14 KOs) landed the crisper shots from the opening bell, using a sharp left jab to set up a remarkably efficient straight right. The Houston native Charlo, the younger twin of undefeated former 154-pound champion Jermall, floored Hatley (26-2-1, 18 KOs) midway through the third with a textbook left-right combo that stunned his fellow Texan.

 

Charlo’s striking precision continued in fourth and fifth, before an onslaught of punches and a perfectly timed right to the chin sent Hatley falling face-forward to the canvas. Referee Harvey Dock didn’t hesitate and instantly waved off the fight at :36 with Hatley out cold on the canvas.

 

The accuracy of Charlo’s jab was telling – he landed his jab at a 31 percent clip to set up his power shots, which connected at an impressive 52 por ciento. Total, Charlo aterrizó 42 percent of his total punches over nearly six full rounds of prizefighting.

 

“I used that jab to set up the right hand,” Charlo said. “I knew Charles Hatley goes down and he gets back up – he’s a warrior – and I knew I had to get in there and be a lion.

 

“Hatley was moving around a lot. He was trying to engage and I tried to tell him to come fight. When he finally got in there, that’s when I got him out. I’m the champ so I have to continue to fight my mandatory. They got a guy named Jarret Hurd that took my brother’s title – we could unify.”

 

Amanda Serrano became the first women and the first Puerto Rican to win world titles in five weight divisions with an eighth-round TKO of Dahiana Santana to capture the vacant WBO Women’s Bantamweight World Championship in the featured bout of SHOWTIME BOXING on SHO EXTREME.

 

Serrano (32-1-1, 24 KOs) was the aggressor from the opening bell, moving forward and attacking with precision as Santana (35-9, 14 KOs) backed up and ate a steady diet of counter shots. Santana was deducted a point for clinching in the fourth, and had visible welts above both eyes following the seventh.

 

Serrano was connecting at an almost 3-1 power punch ratio when referee Benjy Esteves stepped-in to stop the bout at 1:14 de la octava ronda.

 

“It means everything to me. We worked so hard. We worked hard for this moment,” Serrano said. “To be a five division world champion is amazing. To be the first female and first Puerto Rican is amazing.

In the opening bout of SHOWTIME BOXING on SHO EXTREME, Jose Miguel Borrego (12-0, 11 KOs) knocked out a game John Delperdang (10-3, 9 KOs) en 2:07 of the seventh in a scheduled eight-round welterweight contest.

On fighting in his first main event on FS1:

On his matchup with Nelson Lara…
“I really don’t know much about Nelson Lara, except for the fact that he’s coming off a couple of wins. I’m sure his confidence is high, so I’m expecting a tough fight. También, I know he’s fought at lightweight or super-lightweight for most of his career, so he’s got more experience fighting at this weight. One thing for sure is…I’ll be ready for anything he brings to the ring.”
On moving up two weight classes…
“It’s hard to believe, but I started off my career at super-bantamweight while standing six feet plus. It was getting to make those smaller weights. I was killing myself to make super featherweight, so my team and I felt it was best to skip lightweight, and move to super-lightweight. It’s a big jump, but I feel real strong at this weight. MONTREAL (Abril 21, 2017) – Campeón Mundial de peso semipesado del CMB Adonis “Superhombre” Stevenson will take-on hard-hitting Polish contender Andrzej Fonfara en una revancha de su 2014 slugfest on Sábado, Junio 3 en el evento principal de SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, presentado por Liga de Campeones de Boxeo, live on SHOWTIME from the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Televised coverage will also include a matchup of top light heavyweights as WBC number-one contender Eleider Alvarez (22-0, 11 KOs) se enfrenta al ex campeón mundial Jean Pascal (31-4-1, 18 KOs) with both men looking to get a shot at the winner of the main event next.
Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs) y Fonfara (29-4, 17 KOs) battled at Bell Centre on May 24, 2014 as Stevenson was able to survive a knockdown late in the fight to win a decision and defend his belt for the third time. Both men threw huge shots all the way until the final bell and will look to pick up where they left off on June 3.
“I’m very excited for this rematch with Fonfara, but it is going to be a short night for him because they don’t pay me for overtime,” said Stevenson. “I’m very happy to be back in the ring for my first fight of 2017. I can’t wait to fight in front of my hometown fans at the Bell Centre. The first time I fought Fonfara was at the Bell Centre in 2014 and now we’re back doing it for a second time. I will put on a great, exciting show for the fans in my hometown, and for the fans on SHOWTIME.”
“I feel good that I’m back here after three years,” dijo Fonfara. “I’m ready for revenge. I’m a different fighter physically and mentally. I’ve shown in a couple of fights that I’m a better fighter. It’s a great opportunity to get the rematch and be a world champion. The last fight against Chad Dawson gave me experience because it was very technical. But really all the fights since then – Julio Chavez, Jr., Nathan Cleverly and even Joe Smith – have helped me prepare for Stevenson again. I changed my team, got a new coach and a trainer, which makes me physically and mentally where I need to be for this fight. I don’t have a problem fighting in Montreal. I love Montreal. It’s a beautiful city with beautiful people. It will be a great night of boxing and I’m sure that I will be victorious on the night of Junio 3.”

The fighter out of Warsaw, Poland bounced back from his defeat to Stevenson with a TKO victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and a decision over Nathan Cleverly in a 2015 Fight of the Year contender. He followed those up with wins over Robert Berridge and Norbert Dabrowski before his most recent matchup that saw him deliver a sensation fifth round knockout over former world champion Lucian Bute.
Originally from Haiti, Pascal and his family moved to Canada when he was a child and began boxing at the age of 13. He would eventually become one of the most accomplished fighters from Montreal. Pascal became a world champion in 2009 when he defeated previously unbeaten Adrian Diaconu. He would go on to defend the title three times, including a victory over Chad Dawson. After losing his title to Bernard Hopkins, Pascal has picked up victories over Lucian Bute, Yuniesky Gonzalez and most recently Ricardo Ramallo in addition to two challenges of former unified world champion Sergey Kovalev.

We do break down some huge upcoming fights with Andre Berto taking on Shawn Porter in the main event on Showtime this week and a fourth MMA fight between Daniel Straus and Patricio “Pitbull” Friere at Bellator 178 el viernes por la noche. North Carolina’s Boxing Moms to Wine and Dine este domingofor Bonding and Laughs

Durham, Carolina del Norte – Abril 20, 2017 – During nearly every televised fight, and in every montage during pre-fight documentaries on cable networks, there is a consistent figure cheering ringside, wiping tears at her son’s victory or defeat, or clawing her way to the ring while her baby lays sprawled on the canvas. Behind so many of today’s successful and not-so-successful fighters is a mother. Whether or not she wasn’t always present, or was a doting mother, or a major motivator who spent days, weeks and months in the gym, these women played a significant role in the development of these fighters as both warriors within the ring, and men outside the ring.

It has long been a dream of “Raging Babe” Michelle Rosado to tell these women’s stories – To bring them together to share their struggles and triumphs, and add a new dimension to the long-told stories of these young men, who have selected the hurt game as their chosen professions.

With the help of former Tarheel and NBA Veteran Rasheed Wallace, Rosado will finally see her passion project come to fruition. The two crossed paths when they were introduced by a mutual friend from Philadelphia. Wallace was an avid boxing fan, and had a desire to be involved in North Carolina’s active boxing scene. Rosado had just begun work with North Carolina-based Top Catz Boxing. Through several meetings, their passions intermingled, and Rosado’s passion project became Wallace’s.

The duo plans a special dinner for North Carolina’s Boxing Moms este domingo at For Alma Home in Durham. Many of the women attending have sons that will be fighting days later at Top Catz Boxing’s Jueves Night Fights at the Armory. Plans for the dinner include pampering and gifts courtesy of For Alma Home, along with networking and bonding.

“This has been a dream for me for years – having the opportunity to recognize these strong women, these Raging Babes, and share their stories, and their struggles,” Said Rosado. “I’m so grateful to Rasheed Wallace, who immediately saw the value and the vision in bringing these women’s stories to light. Estoy deseando que llegue Domingo de evento, and what the future brings.”

Wallace, whose own mother was instrumental in his personal development, was eager to be a part of the project. “I have long been a boxing fan, and am excited to have an opportunity to recognize these mothers. I hadn’t actually thought about what mothers go through, seeing their sons in the ring, lucha, ganadora, or being knocked out. It will be an honor to share their views, and their stories.”

Both Rosado and Wallace are eager to see where Boxing Moms takes them, but the journey begins este domingo in North Carolina, where mothers of boxers fighting on next week’s Thursday Night Fights at the Armory card gather to forge new friendships, and share their triumphs and challenges.
