Nutley, NJ (Juni 26, 2017)–World ranked middleweight Antoine Douglas will be back in action on July 14th when he battles tough Bruno Sandoval in a 10-round bout that will be contested for the Auch Noch & WBC FECARBOX Middleweight titles.
The bout will headline the non-televised portion of a ShoBox: Die neue Generation Karte, which will be televised live on SHOWTIME (10 PM ET/PT, Delayed on the West Coast) am Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.
The bout will precede a televised quadruple-header that will feature Keenan Smith (11-0, 5 KOs) fighting Ivan Baranchyk 15-0, 10 KOs) in the eight-round junior welterweight main event. In co-featured bouts, Kenneth Sims, Jr. (12-0, 4 KOs) battles Rolando Chinea (14-1-1, 6 KOs) in einem Junior-Weltergewicht bout, and Glenn Dezurn (9-0, 6 KOs) takes on Adam Lopez (16-1-1, 8 KOs) in a super bantamweight fight. Since suffering his only professional defeat, Douglas has comeback to score two consecutive knockouts, with the latest being a second round stoppage over Eduardo Mercedes on März 27. In diesem Kampf, Douglas captured the WBC FECARBOX Middleweight title.

There is a lot of opportunity in the middleweight division, and on July 14, Antoine will take another big step to securing a big fight.”

Philadelphia, PA (Juni 25 2017) -In a fight that exceeded it’s high expectations, Tyrone Brunson came back from two 4th round knockdowns to come back in the very next round to send former two-time world champion Kermit Cintron to the canvas three times, and win the Pennsylvania State Junior Middleweight title via 5th round stoppage at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.
The spectacular card was promoted by King’s Promotions.
“This was a tremendous fight, and all-around great card. Some fight’s and cards don’t live up to the expectations, but the main was one of the great fights of this year. I am proud of all the fighters who competed heute Abend, as they all brought their best, and it showed in quality of the fights,”said King’s Promotions CEO, Marshall Kauffman.
The fight was nip and tuck for the first three-plus rounds, as Cintron looked very sharp early as he landed some hard right hands in the opening frame. Brunson came back and had a strong round two. The fight was fought on event terms until round four, when Cintron
dropped Brunson with a perfectly timed left hand. Later in the round, Brunson went down from an accumulation of punches on the ropes, and as the fourth round was finished, Brunson seemed just about done as well.
Brunson miraculously came back in round five and turned the tables on the former champ, as he landed a beautiful left that sent Cintron to the canvas. Cintron, was hurt and theprodigious puncher, Brunson was ready to finish off Cintron. Cintron never regained his legs and was sent to the canvas two more times, and referee Shawn Clark waved off the bout at1:21.
Brunson is now 25-6-2 mit 23 Knockouts. Cintron of Reading, PA fällt 39-6-3.

In the co-Feature, Victor Vazquez won a six-round unanimous decision over Anthony Burgin in a super lightweight bout.

Vazquez dropped Burgin in round two from body, and he took the hotly contested battle by scores of 58-55 zweimal und 57-56. Vazquez of Yonkers, NY ist jetzt 8-3. Burgin of Philadelphia is now 10-4.

Steven Ortiz registered two knockdowns en-route to a thrilling six-round unanimous decision over Tyrome Jones in a battle of previously undefeated lightweights.
Ortiz scored knockdowns in rounds three and four in a bout where both guys landed some effective blows.
Ortiz of Philadelphia won by scores of 59-53 zweimal und 57-56 to remain perfect at 7-0. Jones of South Bend, IN is now 4-1.
Jerome Conquest won a six-round decision over Jae Ho Kim in a lightweight bout.
Conquest was dropped with a left hook at the end of round three, but he controlled the action, and won by scores of 59-55, 58-55, und 57-56, und ist jetzt 8-2. Kim of Philadelphia via South Korea is now 6-4-1.
Brandon Robinson dominated and took out Rafael Valencia at 2:48 of round two of their scheduled four round super middleweight bout.
Robinson landed a hard right that sent Valencia to the canvas. Valencia got up, but deemed unable to continue at 2:48.
Robinson of Philadelphia is 4-1 mit drei Knockouts. Valencia of Medford, OR is 3-8-1.
Gregory Clark won a six-round unanimous decision over Daryl Bunting in a super middleweight bout.
Clark of Washington, DC won by scores of 59-55 zweimal und 58-56, und ist jetzt 3-1-1. Bunting of Asbury Park, NJ ist 3-2-2.
Marcus Bates remained undefeated by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Roberto Pucheta in a bantamweight bout.

Shelestyuk, 31, is coming off a unanimous decision win against Jaime Herrera in November. Der Kampf, televised on SHOWTIME, had championship implications with Shelestyuk winning the WBO-NABO welterweight title.
The Ukrainian-born Shelestyuk, who now lives and trains in Los Angeles, had a decorated amateur career punctuated by winning a bronze medal in the 2012 Olympischen Spiele in London.
“I’m excited to fight in Sacramento,” Said Shelestyuk, who is promoted by Thompson Boxing and Banner Promotions. “I’ve been in the gym all year and can’t wait to put on a show next week.”

“I love being active,” sagte Villa, who is managed by Danny Zamora. “That was one of the main selling points in signing with Thompson Boxing and Banner Promotions. They assured me that I would be fighting frequently. I’m ready to get another win on my resume.”

Baltimore, MD (Juni 23, 2017) – Baltimore Pro Boxing will pay tribute to the late Murray “Bushwacker” Smith Sr. when they return to Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD Thursday, Juli 13th for an exciting pro-am fight card.

Headlining will be Jesse “The Beast” Nicklow against Sherman Artis in an eight round super middleweight contest.
Living and fighting out of Baltimore, Nicklow has an outstanding 26-8-3 Rekord mit 8 wins by knockout and is unbeaten in his home state of Maryland. He’s also traveled to face many of the world’s best including former undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Ryota Murata and top ranked Sergiy Derevyanchenko among others. Im Januar, Nicklow impressively outpointed previously unbeaten Chauncey Fields.

Peterson, 2-1 (2 KO), is fresh off a vicious first round stoppage of 4-0 Stephon Morris June 17 in Baltimore.
Wallace-Peterson is scheduled for four rounds.
Bantamweight standout Alexandru Marin is slated to see action in an eight round affair. Originally from Iasi, Romania and residing in Bethesda, MD, Marin is 13-0 mit 9 KO. Im Juni 2016, Marin scored a career best victory, knocking out once-beaten Johnny Determan in three rounds to capture the IBO International title.
Glenarden, MD junior welterweight Dravontay Speed Rawls, 8-0-1 (6 KO) will appear in a six round bout against iron-chinned fight veteran Matt Murphy of St. Louis, MO.
Baltimore Junior lightweight Ernest Hall, 2-0 (1 KO) is stepping up to his first six rounder and will do so against an opponent to be named.

Mayweather Gets First Topps Cards

As boxing champ Floyd Mayweather prepares to go after his 50th career victory, Topps is getting set to release its first trading card of the undefeated fighter.

Mayweather will have his first Topps cards, including an autographed version, in 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball, which releases on Juli 19. Mayweather’s inclusion in Allen & Ginter fits right in with the 12-year-old brand, which highlights world champions beyond baseball.

This will be the first of several products that fans can find Mayweather’s Topps autographed cards this year. Stay tuned for more details.

Mayweather recently announced his upcoming fight with UFC champ Conor McGregor auf August 26 in Las Vegas. The much-anticipated fight sees Mayweather going for his 50th professional win – and no losses.

Fans and collectors can find 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter in hobby shops, Target, Walmart, online retailers and Topps.com on Juli 19.

LAS VEGAS (Juni 21, 2017) – Ungeschlagen Eddie Ramirez (17-0, 11 KOs) erwarb einen Split-Entscheidung Sieg über Erick Knochen (16-5, 8 KOs) im Main Event von Premier Boxing Champions TOE-bis-Fuß DIENSTAGS auf FS1 und Boxing Champions auf FOX Deportes Dienstag night from Sam’s Town live in Las Vegas.
Representing Chicago, Ramirez controlled the fight early by working off of his jab and attacking with both hands on the inside. Bone was able to consistently throw counters back, but Ramirez showed good defensive skills throughout the night, never taking serious punishment.
“I was comfortable in the ring heute Abend,” said Ramirez. “I remain unbeaten. I put the pressure on and I got the win. I think the fans will start to see me more and more.”
Ramirez began to break through the guard of Bone and had him in trouble in round four before Bone found his composure and finished the round. The second half of the fight saw Bone increase his movement, which seemed to frustrate Ramirez, who was looking to engage and deliver a knockout.
“He made it a little difficult because he wasn’t cooperating,” said Ramirez. “He was running around the ring, but I am proud of my performance. I won and that’s all that matters. I’m going to get back in the ring and get back to training until I get word on my next fight.”
Bone finished the fight strong and believed he did enough to earn the decision.

Additional televised action saw Xavier Martinez (8-0, 4 KOs) keep his perfect record intact by earning a shutout unanimous decision against previously unbeaten Prince Smalls (11-1-1, 4 KOs) in their eight-round featherweight contest.
While Smalls had the reach advantage and was dedicated to his jab throughout the bout, Martinez was consistently aggressive and was able to navigate the distance and punish Smalls with hooks to the head and body.
“I knew the one advantage he had going into this fight was his height,” sagte Martinez. “But once I got in the ring I saw quickly that he was leaving his body open so I just went in and tried to deliver as many combos and hit the body as much as I could.”
Martinez landed big power punches all night, including a pinpoint right cross that connected with Smalls at the end of round four. A clean left hook staggered Smalls in round seven as Martinez spent the round punishing his opponent, who was barely able to stay on his feet and finish the frame.
After another dominant round to close out the bout, Martinez was awarded the decision by the score of 80-71 auf allen drei Richtern’ Scorecards.
“I wanted the knockout and I think the fans could tell,” sagte Martinez. “This is my first fight this year, so it’s back in the gym for me as I look to my next opponent. I’ll definitely be ready for anyone.”
The opening bout of the telecast saw lightweight prospect Dennis Galarza (16-2, 9 KOs) record his third straight victory via a unanimous decision over Mexico’s Omar Tienda (18-5, 11 KOs) in their 10-round contest.
The taller Galarza used his length early and landed clean hooks on the inside during round one. Tienda came out in round two intent on making it a rough fight and crowding Galarza to negate his reach advantage.
“I give my performance about a 7.5,” Said Galarza. “I knew I was coming into the ring with a tough rugged veteran Mexican fighter and he used that to his advantage, I should have used my jab more.”
Galarza continued to have success with his left hook throughout the night, while Tienda was able to slow down Galarza’s offense in the middle rounds with a relentless body attack. Much of the battle took place in close quarters and in round nine Tienda was deducted a point by referee Robert Byrd for throwing Galarza to the canvas.
After 10-rounds of hard-fought action, Galarza’s clean work and good movement in the late rounds helped him earn a unanimous decision by scores of 100-89, 99-90 und 98-91.
“There was a lot of holding, but it didn’t really affect my plan,” Said Galarza. “I wanted the knockout going in but I’m just happy I got the win unanimously. I need to get back in the gym and work on really using my jab and uppercut more and I think that will help me going into the next fight.”
