Ancien combattant de l'UFC Steve “Le chef” Bossé Pour faire ses débuts en boxe professionnelle

MONTRÉAL (Janvier 20, 2018) – combattant populaire Steve “Le chef” Bossé fera ses débuts en boxe professionnelle dans le cadre de la troisième tranche de la 2017-2018 “CHRONO AVIATION Boxing Series 2017-2018”, 15 février at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal.
Un ancien pugiliste sur patins, ainsi qu'un ex-Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Combattant MMA, Bossé affrontera un poids lourd bolivien Juillet “Dissimuler” Cuellar Cabrera (12-6-0, 11 KOs), dans un combat de six rondes.
“Série de boxe CHRONO AVIATION” est présenté par Mise-O-Jeu, en association avec Vidéotron, at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal.
Bossé tentera le Tour de force en termes de popularité et de succès dans son troisième sport de contact. C'était une grande star du hockey senior au Québec, connu comme “Le roi du combat sur glace”, suivi d'une carrière de MMA qui a culminé lorsqu'il a été signé par l'UFC en 2014.
Cabrera, qui a commencé sa carrière en 2009, a le pouvoir à deux mains avec 11 KO dans son 12 victoires à ce jour.
A native of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in Quebec, Bossé a clairement besoin d'expérience en boxe avant de faire face à des adversaires d'élite en 10 ou combats en 12 rounds, mais Michel Hamelin et le R.A.C.J. a exigé que l'ancienne star de l'UFC fasse ses débuts en boxe dans un match de six rounds, plutôt que le quatre round plus traditionnel pour un premier combat.

Marie Eve-Dicaire en combat pour le titre NABF
Dans le cas de co-vedette, charismatique Marie Eve Dicaire (10-0) continue sa marche vers un titre mondial Katia “La lionne” Alvarino (8-4-1, 3 KOs), ou en Uruguay, pour la Fédération nord-américaine de boxe vacante (NABF) titre poids moyen junior. Le vainqueur sera mieux placé pour un futur combat pour le titre mondial.
“Marie-Eve peut se rapprocher des sommets de la boxe féminine. Ce combat représente un rendez-vous avec la gloire,” Barré ajouté.
DiCaire, un ancien champion du monde de karaté, est invaincu en boxe pro, sortant d'une décision unanime en huit rounds sur l'envahisseur mexicain Patty Ramirez (11-4) ce passéDécembre 7 at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal.
Les deux dernières apparitions d'Alvarino ont eu lieu dans des combats pour le titre mondial. Dans sa dernière sortie, revenir sur Octobre 21 à Montevideo, elle a perdu une décision unanime en 10 rounds contre la Championne du Monde Junior des Poids Moyens Junior de la Fédération Internationale de Boxe Chris Namus(24-4, 8 KOs).

Poids moyen / welter junior de classe mondiale Mikael Zewski (29-1, 22 KOs) sera également en action Février 15 contre mexicain éprouvé au combat Jose “El Changuito” par Jesus Macias (23-7-2, 12 KOs) dans un combat de huit rounds potentiellement explosif. Avec une victoire impressionnante sur Macias, Zewski sera dans la lignée d'un tir au titre du championnat nord-américain.
Un protégé d'un ancien champion du monde Lucian Bute, welters Bruno Bredicean (9-0, 3 KOs), ainsi que la perspective spectaculaire des poids welters Jessica “Le Cobra” Camara (3-0) verra aussi l'action.
Bredicean affrontera un adversaire à déterminer, tandis que Camara sera opposé parGuadalupe “Pantera” Lincer Ortiz (2-5-0, 1 KO), du Mexique.
Le début pour “Chose sauvage” Pellerin
Dans le combat d'ouverture du soir, Partenaire d'entraînement de Steve Bossé et combattant expérimenté en arts martiaux mixtes, Yan “Chose sauvage” Pellerin de Granby, fera également ses débuts en boxe professionnelle. Il a eu 24 Combats de MMA (11-13-0) et fera face à un adversaire à déterminer.
Pellerin, qui n'a jamais craint l'adversité, a affronté les meilleurs pugilistes de son temps, y compris l'ancien champion des poids moyens de l'UFC Rich Franklin, en plus des vétérans de l'UFC du Québec, Jonathan Goulet et Patrick Côté, ainsi que son partenaire d'entraînement actuel, Bossé.

QUOI: SHOWTIME Sports reporter Jim Gray sat down with undefeated world champion Robert Jr Pâques. at the famed Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn ahead of his 135-pound title defense against former world champion Javier Fortuna. The pair discussed Easter’s motivations to enter the sport of boxing, his life outside the ring and future aspirations inside the ring.
The IBF Lightweight World Title Bout serves as the co-feature of the Janvier 20 Showtime Championship Boxing, a Premier Boxing Champions event LIVE on SHOWTIME (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT) de Barclays Center, la maison de BROOKLYN BOXE ™. Richard Rivera: “Ceci est une grande opportunité pour moi. Rivera Promotions a accompli tant de choses au cours de sa première année. J'ai combattu dans le co-main deux fois de deux émissions précédentes de RPE sur lesquelles je me suis battu. Ça va être un spectacle génial, pas seulement l'événement principal. Il y a des boxeurs compétitifs sur la carte. Ne clignez pas des yeux, n'allez pas aux toilettes car n'importe lequel de ces combats pourrait se terminer à tout moment.”
“C'est un grand pas en avant pour ma carrière. La boxe est ma passion. Nous venons tous les deux nous battre. Victoire, perdre ou dessiner, nous verrons qui est le chien Alpha à la fin. “Je suis «Popeye The Sailor Man», et je suis bon pour la finition parce que je mange mes épinards.”
Kevin Cobbs: “Je respecte Rivera et crois en ce que j'entends. Il semble être un bon mec. Je suis excité à propos de cette lutte. Beaucoup de gens n'étaient pas sûrs de ce que je faisais parce que je ne m'étais pas battu dans deux ans quand je suis arrivé à l'appel (combattre Rivera). La boxe m'a fait sortir de l'espace et je n'ai jamais arrêté de boxer. Ce sera une grande année pour les Rivera. J'aime changer et je suis prêt à partir.”
Bobby Harris, III: “Mon adversaire veut racheter la perte de son frère contre moi. Je tiens à remercier RPE de m'avoir mis dans la co-fonctionnalité dans mon troisième combat professionnel seulement. Mes deux premiers combats ont été une expérience d'apprentissage et ce combat que je cherche à faire une déclaration pour mettre en valeur mes talents. J'ai beaucoup à prouver en tant que seul combattant de Worcester sur cette carte.”
Omar Bordoy, Jr: “Je me bats contre un adversaire coriace. Se battre est plus facile pour moi que de parler ici. Je me bats contre un gars de Hartford. J'ai beaucoup d'amour pour son entraîneur et Hartford. Je veux que ma main soit levée à la fin du combat.”
Derrick Whitley: “Je tiens à remercier Rivera Promotions de m'avoir mis sur cette carte. Je me suis battu sur deux de leurs concerts l'année dernière et je suis sorti 2-0. Je cherche à être 3-0. Ce fut une expérience d'apprentissage allant des amateurs aux pros. L’objectif de tout le monde est d’élever votre niveau. He’s always in great shape and has a lot of skills. IT might be a dog fight and that’s what I wanted. He’s the guy who wanted to fight and I said of course. It’s going to be a rugged fight. Later on in the fights, he always gets rough and stands toe-to-toe.
“There might not be a lot of talking and bad blood between us, but you know that the two of us always give a great fight for the fans.
“I had to wait for my title defense and then I had a lot of guys not answer the call for this fight. I have a belt and I still have to call these other guys out. Lamont Peterson answered the call like a real fighter.
“In a perfect world I’d be unifying with Keith Thurman this year. I’m going to fight three times this year though. You don’t get time back. I’m ready to strike now.

“I have no concerns fighting a southpaw. I made my last fight hard, but this time I’m going to use my reach, my feet and my speed to dominate.

“Javier Fortuna is an accomplished fighter but I don’t know too much about him. I know what I came to do. I’m a world champion and everyone knows what I bring to the fight game. I won’t leave without my strap.

Ortiz est devenu professionnel en 2016, et est invaincue avec un record de 5-0-2 avec trois victoires à venir par KO.
Les deux seuls défauts pour Ortiz sont deux nuls contestés quand il a combattu à Philadelphie.
Ortiz se décrit comme un boxeur-perforateur, qui aime échanger et il utilise beaucoup de mouvement et jeu de jambes.
Ortiz sera en action 17 février à San Antiono Shrine Auditorium.
“Mon prochain combat est la prochaine étape vers mon objectif d'être la perspective de poids moyen haut au Texas, et étant alors un champion du monde,” Ledit Ortiz.

Exciting Slugger Eyubov Calls Out Fellow Prospect: ‘Bring me Yves Ulysse Jr. I Will Run Him Out of the Ring!’

Already one of the most entertaining up-and-comers in boxing and willing to face anyone put in front of him, Kazakhstan-born slugger Bakhtiyar “Bakha Bullet” Yeyubov, is calling out a fellow super lightweight prospect that most of his contemporaries try to avoid.

“Bring me Yves Ulysse Jr. suivant,” Saïd Eyubov. I want to fight him.”
A true warrior, Eyubov says he’s willing to go where others fear to tread on his way to a world championship. “I know Ulysse is considered a difficult opponent and fighters are avoiding him, but I would run him out of the ring. I’ll stop him and get my respect in the division. I am too strong and too hungry. He can’t survive my tenacity!”
Montreal-based Ulysse (15-1, 9 KOs) was last seen in December dominating formerly undefeated Cletus Seldin over 10 one-sided rounds on HBO. The quick-fisted Canadian is currently rated #14 dans le monde par l'IBF.
Yeyubov (13-0, 11 KOs) returned to the ring last weekend, but had his stalking of opponent Maurice Chalmers cut short when Chalmers suffered an accidental headbutt. The fight was ruled a No Decision at 1:59 de la première ronde.
“I will stop him if that fight ever happens,” continued Eyubov. “I hope he doesn’t get intimidated by my confidence. I hope he’s a real man that likes a challenge. We will see.”
