FITE TV announces television carriage deal for the WMMAA Pan-American Division Championships October 8-9 in Chile

NEW YORK, NY (Augustus 26, 2016) — FITE TV, in conjunction with the World MMA Association (WMMAA), announced today that it will be broadcasting the inaugural WMMAA Pan-American Division Championships live on FITE TV starting with the preliminary matches Saterdag, Oktober 8, and the final Sunday October 9, 2016.
FITE is a television network, via a downloadable app, that specializes in all things fighting, including boxing, stoei, MMA and Martial Arts. FITE is a free app that is available for download at the Google Play or iTunes app stores.
Op Oktober. 8-9, the WMMAA is bringing the top amateur MMA competitors from around the world to Santiago, Chile for a two-day competition. Meer as 12 countries will be represented in eight different weight classes (6 mans, 2 women classes). Michelle Bachelet, the President of Chile, is slated to participate in the opening ceremonies and preside over the closing of the event. In addition to the in-ring MMA competition, the weekend will feature a fitness expo and Ring Girl Latina 2016 pageant. As of today, 12 countries have committed to participating in the event, including the United States, Mexiko, Kuba, Aruba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chili, Paraguay, Argentinië, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Woodall verbeter tot 10-1-1 met 7 KO se. Raya gly na 2-5 met 1 uitklophou.

Hailing from Pinar del Rio, Cuba and currently based in Miami, FL, Frometa puts his 7-0 record on the line against fellow Florida transplant Farkhad “Crazy Russian” Sharipov of Kissimmee in a six round contest. Frometa, who has six wins by knockout, captured the U-17 and junior world championships as part of Cuba’s globally renowned amateur program. The hard-hitting Frometa however faces his toughest opponent to date on the 2nd.

The 31-year-old has faced seven unbeaten foes including 2008 US Olympian Raynell Williams, well-regarded Semajay Thomas and Kevin Watts. Born in the United Kingdom and residing in Miami, Woodall started his career 9-0-1 with six of those wins coming by knockout. In sy laaste stryd, Woodall fought on ShoBox: The New Generation for the NABF title but was stopped in the fourth round by Steve Rolls. To get back on track, Woodall’s been working hard in Houston, TX under top trainer Ronnie Shields.
Opposing Woodall will be Juan Fernando Raya of Bolivia. Raya, 2-4 (1 KO), is fighting for the third time in Florida and most recently dropped a decision to undefeated Omar Albanil in Tampa.
"I’m glad we were able to add two more quality fighters to the card,” said Orduna. “The locals were already raving about other fights on the card and now there’s even more to be excited about. Tickets are close to being sold out and there will be no better place to be than the Bayfront Hilton on April 2.
With the additions of Frometa-Sharipov and Woodall-Raya, Mad Integrity Fight Sports will have a total of ten fights. Headlining is popular Ali Tareh, 13-11-5 (6 KO se) van Tampa teen Juan Aguirre, 6-16-1, of Jacksonville in an eight round welterweight matchup as well as the much discussed featherweight fight between St. Petersburg se Jose "Lil’ Pacquiao "Resendez, 4-0 (2 KO se), and Miami’s Raul Chirino, 7-1 (3 KO se), over six rounds.
Other match ups include welterweight Armando “The Gentleman” Alvarez (8-0) of Miami against Tampa’s Lee “Holliwood” Dawson (2-2-3) junior lightweight Michael Guillen (1-0) of Port Orange versus Tampa’s Rafael Rivera (1-1) and St. Petersburg welterweight Viktor Kulakovski (4-2) challenging Paulie Simpson (2-1) van Tampa. Light heavyweight “King” Kenmon Evans (2-0) of New Smyrna Beach, St. Petersburg middleweight Raynard Hill (5-10) and heavyweight Jose Medina (1-0) of Winter Haven will also appear in separate bouts.
