FORT LAUDERDALE, ФЛА. In a cruiserweight clash that went the full five rounds, Lombard controlled the majority of the fight, but Mundell used his jab and was able to land a few notable right hands to keep the fight interesting.

“I was aggressive and I scored the points,” said Lombard in victory. “He was backing up the whole time, but my hat off to him. I never thought it was going to be that tough, but he put up a good fight.

“I wanted to be in bare knuckle because I wanted the experience, and now I have it,” continued Lombard. “I’m pretty sure I have to change my game plan and some little things, but it was an amazing experience.”

A frustrated Mundell said, “I kept the distance really well. I played the better boxing game. I understand this is bare knuckle and everybody wants to see us slug it out, and he gave more pressure. I give him props for that, but let’s run it back and see what happens.”

The BKFC 10 co-main event featured Jim Alers победивши Kaleb Harris одлуком већине (50-44, 48-46, 47-47) in an all-action 155-pound contest. “My Jiu Jitsu helps and comes in handy,” continued Alers. “I’m able to push him around, control his weight, and it definitely plays a part in this game. Dat Nguyen squared off against Abdiel Velazquez in an extremely spirited 135-pound fight. It was a furious pace from the opening bell, Nguyen landing first and dropping Velazquez. Velazquez continued to force the fast action and he caught Nguyen, dropping Nguyen to the mat for the first time in his professional combat sports career. As the fighters settled into the later stages of the first round, Nguyen landed a huge left that knocked Velazquez out cold. The referee immediately waved off the fight 1:51 into round one.

Gustavo Trujillo поражен Lorenzo Hunt by technical knockout in the first round of their 205-pound scrap. As Hunt lunged forward to throw a punch, Trujillo landed a powerful, short right hand of his own, send Hunt crashing to the canvas face-first. Hunt made it back to his feet, but the referee had seen enough, calling a stop to the action just 1:01 into the first frame.

Francesco Ricchi престао Fred Pierce in the first round of their 175-pound contest. An extremely reckless Pierce got caught and dropped early by Ricchi. Pierce elected to get up and fight on, but continued his wild ways, got stunned again and then stopped on his feet at the 1:38 Знак рунде.

In the opening pay-per-view bout, Travis Thompson secured a second-round stoppage victory over Joshua Boudreaux in their 135-pound fight. Thompson focused on the body and dropped Boudreaux twice, once in the first round and again in the second round, on his way to a technical knockout at the :15 Знак другом кругу.

Fighting out of St. Augustine, Фла., Hunt defeated Reggie Pena at BKFC 8 and he’ll look to continue that bare knuckle success against Trujillo. Trujillo also tasted victory at BKFC 8 by defeating Rob Morrow, and he’ll do everything that he can to emerge victorious against Hunt.

Virginia’s Barnett, who has a 3-1 record in BKFC competition, will be looking to get back to his winning ways against Murphy. Murphy, who fights out of St. Луис, will be making his third appearance in BKFC action.

The unbeaten 24-year-old from Wichita, Kansas capped off an impressive amateur career at the 2016 Olympic Games when he defeated fighters from Italy, Russia and Ecuador to clinch his light flyweight bronze medal. Hernandez is the first U.S. men’s boxing medalist since 2008. Since turning pro in March 2017, Hernandez has compiled a 7-0 запис, including four wins by knockout. He is the second Olympian to sign with BKFC, and the first Olympic medalist.


“It’s been a goal of mine to fight at INTRUST Bank Arena ever since it was first built,” Саид Хернандез. “I have yet to fight in Wichita. A 31-year-old veteran of 23 Bellator bouts, Rickels will make his BKFC debut in front of his hometown fans. Rickels fought twice in 2019, defeating AJ Matthews and losing to Yaroslav Amosov. He won eight of his first nine Bellator fights, is fourth all-time in Bellator wins and challenged for the Bellator lightweight championship in 2013. “I built my name in Wichita and I was signed to Bellator off of a performance right here in this city,” said Rickels. “The support of the people who live here has helped make me who I am in combat sports. So any chance I get to perform in front of them, I will jump on it.”


Fighting out of Gravois Mills, Мисури, Shewmaker has already competed in five BKFC bouts since debuting on BKFC 1 with a highlight-reel knockout of Eric Prindle. After defeating Maurice Jackson, Shewmaker lost a split-decision to Arnold Adams in the first-ever BKFC heavyweight title fight. He bounced back to defeat Joel Parades in February 2019 at BKFC 4, before fighting to a split-draw in another BKFC heavyweight title fight, this time against Chase Sherman at BKFC 5 у априлу.

The lineup continues with Gulfport, Mississippi’s Harris Stephenson facing Missouri’s Kenny Licea in a 170-pound bout, Mississippi-native Kaleb Harris in a 165-pound clash against Delaware’s Jeff Chiffens, plus another Mississippi-native entering the ring when Adam Pellerano меетс Joe Pegg in a 150-pound duel.

Rounding out the night are a pair of 205-pound clashes as Maine’s Chris Sarrobattles West Virginia’s John McAllister while Oregon’s Wes Combs steps in against Mississippi’s Адријан Миље.

After an impressive amateur MMA career, Iowa’s Peralta won two of her three Invicta fights in 2018. She made her BKFC debut earlier this year, defeating Christine Ferea at BKFC 7 у августу.
