BJ GARCEAU WILL RETURN TO THE CAGE AT NEF 45 AGAINST HAYLEY MARTIN

PENTRU DIFUZARE: Portland, Maine (Octombrie 7, 2021) - Lupte New England (NEF) returns with its next mixed-martial-arts (MMA) eveniment, "NEF 45: Uprising,” on Friday, Noiembrie 5, 2021, at Aura in Portland, Maine. Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur women’s strawweight bout to the fight card.BJ Garceau se va întâlniHayley Martin la o greutate de luptă de 115 de lire sterline.

The fight will see Garceau (1-1) return to the NEF cage after a three-year absence. She made her debut at “NEF 32” in February 2018 with a split decision win over Sarah Ziehm (1-2).  Garceau then lost via technical knockout to Chelsea Tucker (3-3) in the third round of their bout at “NEF 36” in the fall of that year. She had been scheduled to make her return to action at “NEF 43” in 2020 until the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the event. Garceau represents Young’s MMA of Bangor, Maine.

“I can’t believe I’m stepping back into the cage again this November,” exclaimed Garceau. “When we had to stop training last year, I felt like I lost my family, my health, and that hit me hard mentally and physically. I was a mess. So once (Young’s MMA head coach) Chris Young and so many other amazing coaches from other gyms said ‘come home’ a/k/a ‘get back into the gym,’ I finally felt whole again once we were on the mats. I didn’t think it would happen again, but honestly after everything that’s been going on in the world and personally the past 18-months, I’ve never wanted to fight this bad. I’m thankful for the opportunity and honestly it could have been anyone standing across from me at this point. I am happy to throw down with Hayley, and promise I will not let anyone down in that cage!  I would say more, but I gotta go train. Let’s do this!"

Hayley Martin will be making her in-cage debut in the fight with Garceau at “NEF 45” – just a few weeks after celebrating her 50lea birthday. Martin is an independent fighter whose dream it has been to actively compete in MMA.

“I’m beyond excited to step into the cage, test my skills and show what hard work and dedication looks like,” said Martin.  “I’m on this journey because I have never felt anything that makes me feel more alive, strong and confident. And when that moment happens on November 5th, I will leave it all in the cage and fight my ass off for every woman that thought dreams can’t come true.”

PENTRU DIFUZARE: Orono, Maine (Martie 12, 2020) - Lupte New England (NEF) va prezenta următoarea sa artă marțială mixtă (MMA) eveniment la Centrul Collins pentru Arte din campusul pilot Orono al Universității din Maine. Evenimentul, intitulat „NEF 43: Ieșire violentă,”Va avea loc sâmbătă, Aprilie 18, 2020, cu un clopot de 7 pm EDT. Mai devreme astazi, promovarea luptei a anunțat adăugarea unui card amator cu greutate paie la carte.BJ Garceau(1-1) este programat pentru a face fațăFatima Kline(1-0) la o greutate de luptă de 115 de lire sterline.

BJ Garceau va intra în cușca NEF pentru a treia și ultima oară pe 18 aprilie. Garceau, care a fost diagnosticat cu diabet juvenil de tip 1 în 1993, a debutat cu debutul ei amator și a devenit o inspirație pentru mulți. A învins-o pe Sarah Ziehm (1-2) prin decizie divizată la „NEF 32” în februarie 2018. Garceau s-a întors în cușcă mai târziu în acel an, pierzând în fața lui Chelsea Tucker (3-3) în a treia rundă a unui concurs „NEF 36”. Fatima Kline va face drumul de la casa ei din Hyde Park, New York pentru luptă. La doar 19 ani, Kline deține deja o centură mov în Jiu-Jitsu brazilian. A debutat în amatori MMA în toamna anului trecut, cu o decizie unanimă câștigată pe o carte în White Plains, New York. Kline reprezintă Black Hole Jiu-Jitsu cu sediul în Wappingers Falls, New York.

„Aș dori să mulțumesc NEF pentru că mi-a dat ocazia să-mi prezint toată munca grea,”, A spus Kline când a ajuns la comentarii. „Fiind că aceasta este lupta mea de debut pentru organizație, Promit să fiu în partea de sus a jocului meu, vin la luptă. NEF RETURNS TO LEWISTON ON SUPER BOWL WEEKEND WITH AN MMA SUPER CARD

Lewiston, Maine (Ianuarie 19, 2018) – The night before the National Football League (NFL) delivers its 2017-2018 season finale, Lupte New England (NEF) will return to the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston for the first time in eight months as the fight promotion presents “NEF 32: Super Sâmbătă.” And while New England football fans will have to wait until this Sunday’s AFC championship game to find out whether their beloved Patriots will play in the Super Bowl, area mixed-martial-arts fans learned today which of their favorites will compete at “NEF 32” as promotion executives released the full fight card for the February 3rd eveniment.

 

 

În evenimentul principal al serii, Bruce “Destul Boy” Boyington (14-11) ia pe Taylor Trahan (7-8) at a catchweight of 150-pounds. One of the biggest MMA stars ever to come out of Maine, Boyington will make his return to the NEF cage after a two-year absence that saw him compete on the global stage in places like Russia and New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden. Trahan makes his third trip to Maine to compete. He is coming off a win over Connor Barry (3-2) toamna trecuta.

 

 

Aaron “Neobosit” Lacey (4-1) se confruntă cu off cu Josh Parker (6-9) într-un meci pană. Lacey suffered the first loss of his pro career in November when a fight he was arguably on the way to winning was stopped by a doctor due to a cut on Lacey’s head. Parker will look to continue his recent success in the MMA cage after recent victories over Andre Belcarris (0-2) și Derek Shorey (4-9).

 

 

CJ Ewer (3-0) is out to make history by becoming the first competitor to hold NEF championships simultaneously in multiple weight divisions. Ewer is the reigning NEF Pro Middleweight Champion. La “NEF 32,” he has the opportunity to capture the NEF Pro Welterweight Title when he meets Kemran Lachinov (5-2) for the vacant strap.

 

 

Also in professional welterweight action will be Mike “Mustața” Hansen (5-8) și Jesse “Viking” Erickson (9-7) in a fight billed as “The Berserker vs. The Viking.” Hansen and Erickson have developed a rivalry as coaches of local gyms Berserkers MMA and Central Maine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CMBJJ), respectiv.

 

 

Speaking of which, Nate Boucher (2-1), a product of CMBJJ, și Ryan Burgess (2-2) of Berserkers MMA will headline the amateur portion of the fight card. The flyweights, former teammates on the Mountain Valley High School wrestling squad, have engaged in a recent war of words heading into the bout. The winner will be in line for a shot at the amateur flyweight title later this spring.

 

 

2017 NEF “Rookie of the Year” Jayda “Lil Killah” Curte interioară în castele feudale (1-0) returns to the cage on February 3rd to meet Florida’s Amanda Gallo (0-1).
