UŽ nedelsiant paleisti: Portlandas, Meino (Spalis 7, 2021) - Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF) grįžta su kitais mišriais kovos menais (MMA) renginys, "NEF 45: Uprising," penktadienį, Lapkritis 5, 2021, „Aura“ mieste Portlande, Meinas. Šiandien anksčiau, NEF paskelbė, kad į kovos kortą įtraukė moterų mėgėjų šiaudų kovą.BJ Garceau susitiksHayley Martin esant kovos svoriui 115 svarų.

Kova pamatys Garceau (1-1) grįžti į NEF narvą po trejų metų nebuvimo. Ji debiutavo „NEF 32“ vasarį 2018 padalintu sprendimu nugalėjo Sarah Ziehm (1-2).  Garceau techniniu nokautu pralaimėjo Chelsea Tuckeriui (3-3) tų metų rudenį, trečiajame savo kovos „NEF 36“ etape. Buvo planuota, kad ji grįš į veiksmą „NEF 43“. 2020 kol COVID-19 pandemija privertė atidėti renginį. Garceau atstovauja Youngo Bangoro MMA, Meino.

„Negaliu patikėti, kad šį lapkritį vėl žengiu į narvą,“ – sušuko Garceau. „Kai pernai turėjome nutraukti treniruotes, Jaučiausi lyg praradęs šeimą, Mano sveikata, ir tai mane stipriai paveikė protiškai ir fiziškai. Buvau netvarka. Taigi vieną kartą (Youngo MMA vyriausiasis treneris) Chrisas Youngas ir daugybė kitų nuostabių trenerių iš kitų sporto salių sakė „grįžk namo“ a/k/a „grįžk į sporto salę“.,“ Pagaliau vėl pasijutau visa, kai atsidūrėme ant kilimėlių. Nemaniau, kad tai pasikartos, bet nuoširdžiai po visko, kas vyksta pasaulyje ir asmeniškai per pastaruosius 18 mėnesių, Niekada nenorėjau kovoti su tokia blogybe. Esu dėkingas už galimybę ir, tiesą sakant, šiuo metu tai galėjo būti bet kas, stovintis priešais mane. Džiaugiuosi galėdamas nusileisti kartu su Hayley, ir pažadu, kad tame narve nieko nenuvilsiu!  Sakyčiau daugiau, bet aš turiu eiti treniruotis. Padarykime tai!"

Hayley Martin debiutuos narve kovoje su Garceau „NEF 45“ – praėjus vos kelioms savaitėms po jos šventimo 50oji gimtadienis. Martinas yra nepriklausomas kovotojas, kurio svajonė buvo aktyviai rungtyniauti MMA.

„Nekantrauju žengti į narvą, išbandyti savo įgūdžius ir parodyti, kaip atrodo sunkus darbas ir atsidavimas,“, - sakė Martinas.  „Esu šioje kelionėje, nes niekada nepajutau nieko, kas leistų jaustis gyvesniam, stiprus ir pasitikintis. Ir kai tas momentas įvyksta lapkričio 5 d, Paliksiu visa tai narve ir kovosiu už kiekvieną moterį, kuri manė, kad svajonės negali išsipildyti.

BJ GARCEAU TO FIGHT ONE LAST TIME AT NEF 43 ORONOJE, MAINE

UŽ nedelsiant paleisti: Orono, Meino (Kovas 12, 2020) - Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF) pristatys savo kitą mišrią kovos meną (MMA) event at the Collins Center for the Arts on the University of Maine’s flagship Orono campus. The event, pavadinimu „NEF 43: Siautėti,“Vyks šeštadienį, Balandis 18, 2020, su varpo laiku 7 pm EDT. Earlier today, the fight promotion announced the addition of an amateur strawweight bout to the card.BJ Garceau(1-1) planuojama į veidąFatima Kline(1-0) esant kovos svoriui 115 svarų.

BJ Garceau will enter the NEF cage for the third and final time on April 18. Garceau, who was diagnosed with Type-1 juvenile diabetes in 1993, made headlines with her amateur debut and became an inspiration to many. She defeated Sarah Ziehm (1-2) via split decision at “NEF 32” in February 2018. Garceau returned to the cage later that year, losing to Chelsea Tucker (3-3) in the third round of an “NEF 36” contest. Garceau is a product of Young’s MMA based in Bangor, Meino

“I’m so excited to be back in the cage in my hometown, for what will be my final fight this April,” said Garceau.  “I want to be able to leave my old stomping grounds with my hand held high at the end and walk away with a win for my fans, draugai, šeimos, treneriai, team and myself. I’ll give it everything I’ve got one last time and this will be a fight you don’t want to miss. With that being said, I am beyond grateful for my opponent taking on the fight and every opportunity Young’s MMA, NEF and everyone in the mixed martial arts community has given me over the years. Fatima Kline will make the trek from her home in Hyde Park, New York for the fight. At just 19-years-old, Kline already holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She made her amateur MMA debut last fall with a unanimous decision win on a card in White Plains, New York. Kline represents Black Hole Jiu-Jitsu based in Wappingers Falls, Niujorkas.

“I would like to thank NEF for giving me the opportunity to showcase all of my hard work,” said Kline when reached for comment. “Being that this is my debut fight for the organization, I promise to be at the top of my game come fight night. Ačiū, BJ, for accepting this matchup, and I look forward to seeing you in the cage. The one message I would have for the crowd is: be prepared to be entertained.”

Lewiston, Meino (Sausis 19, 2018) – The night before the National Football League (NFL) delivers its 2017-2018 season finale, Naujosios Anglijos Kovų (NEF) will return to the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston for the first time in eight months as the fight promotion presents “NEF 32: Super Šeštadienis.” And while New England football fans will have to wait until this Sunday’s AFC championship game to find out whether their beloved Patriots will play in the Super Bowl, area mixed-martial-arts fans learned today which of their favorites will compete at “NEF 32” as promotion executives released the full fight card for the February 3rd renginys.

 

 

Pagrindiniame renginio vakare, Bruce'as “Gana Vaikinas” Boyington (14-11) įgauna Tayloras Trahanas (7-8) at a catchweight of 150-pounds. One of the biggest MMA stars ever to come out of Maine, Boyington will make his return to the NEF cage after a two-year absence that saw him compete on the global stage in places like Russia and New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden. Trahan makes his third trip to Maine to compete. He is coming off a win over Connor Barry (3-2) praeitą rudenį.

Speaking of which, Nate Boucher (2-1), a product of CMBJJ, ir Ryanas Burgess (2-2) of Berserkers MMA will headline the amateur portion of the fight card. The flyweights, former teammates on the Mountain Valley High School wrestling squad, have engaged in a recent war of words heading into the bout. The winner will be in line for a shot at the amateur flyweight title later this spring.

 

 

2017 NEF “Rookie of the Year” Jayda “lil Killah” Bailey (1-0) returns to the cage on February 3rd to meet Florida’s Amanda Gallo (0-1). Bailey made history in November at “NEF 31” by becoming the youngest competitor ever to compete, (and win), į NEF narve. She turned 18, the legal age for competing in MMA in Maine, just a week prior to the event.
