BJ GARCEAU WILL RETURN TO THE CAGE AT NEF 45 AGAINST HAYLEY MARTIN

PER IL RILASCIO IMMEDIATO: Portland, Maine (Ottobre 7, 2021) - Combattimenti New England (NEF) ritorna con le sue prossime arti marziali miste (MMA) evento, "NEF 45: Uprising,” on Friday, Novembre 5, 2021, a Aura in Portland, Maine. Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur women’s strawweight bout to the fight card.BJ Garceau si incontrerannoHayley Martin con un peso di lotta 115 libbre.

The fight will see Garceau (1-1) return to the NEF cage after a three-year absence. She made her debut at “NEF 32” in February 2018 with a split decision win over Sarah Ziehm (1-2).  Garceau then lost via technical knockout to Chelsea Tucker (3-3) in the third round of their bout at “NEF 36” in the fall of that year. She had been scheduled to make her return to action at “NEF 43” in 2020 until the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the event. Garceau represents Young’s MMA of Bangor, Maine.

“I can’t believe I’m stepping back into the cage again this November,” exclaimed Garceau. “When we had to stop training last year, I felt like I lost my family, my health, and that hit me hard mentally and physically. I was a mess. So once (Young’s MMA head coach) Chris Young and so many other amazing coaches from other gyms said ‘come home’ a/k/a ‘get back into the gym,’ I finally felt whole again once we were on the mats. I didn’t think it would happen again, but honestly after everything that’s been going on in the world and personally the past 18-months, I’ve never wanted to fight this bad. I’m thankful for the opportunity and honestly it could have been anyone standing across from me at this point. I am happy to throw down with Hayley, and promise I will not let anyone down in that cage!  I would say more, but I gotta go train. Let’s do this!"

Hayley Martin will be making her in-cage debut in the fight with Garceau at “NEF 45” – just a few weeks after celebrating her 50th birthday. Martin is an independent fighter whose dream it has been to actively compete in MMA.

“I’m beyond excited to step into the cage, test my skills and show what hard work and dedication looks like,” said Martin.  “I’m on this journey because I have never felt anything that makes me feel more alive, strong and confident. And when that moment happens on November 5th, I will leave it all in the cage and fight my ass off for every woman that thought dreams can’t come true.”

PER IL RILASCIO IMMEDIATO: Orono, Maine (Marzo 12, 2020) - Combattimenti New England (NEF) presenterà i suoi prossimi misto di arti marziali (MMA) evento presso il Centro per le Arti Collins sull'università di punta Orono campus del Maine. L'evento, dal titolo “NEF 43: Furia,”Avrà luogo il Sabato, Aprile 18, 2020, con una campana in tempo 7 pm EDT. Proprio oggi, la promozione lotta ha annunciato l'aggiunta di un attacco strawweight amatoriale alla scheda.BJ Garceau(1-1) è prevista per affrontareFatima Kline(1-0) con un peso di lotta 115 libbre.

BJ Garceau entrerà nella gabbia NEF per la terza ed ultima volta il 18 aprile Garceau, che è stato diagnosticato con tipo 1 diabete giovanile in 1993, fatto notizia con il suo debutto amatoriale ed è diventato una fonte d'ispirazione per molti. Ha sconfitto Sarah Ziehm (1-2) via split decision a “NEF 32” nel febbraio 2018. Garceau restituito alla gabbia nello stesso anno, perdendo al Chelsea Tucker (3-3) nel terzo turno di un concorso “NEF 36”. Garceau è un prodotto di MMA di Young con sede a Bangor, Maine

Fatima Kline farà il trekking dalla sua casa di Hyde Park, New York per la lotta. A soli 19 anni di età, Kline detiene già una cintura viola di Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Ha fatto il suo debutto amatoriale MMA lo scorso autunno con una vittoria decisione unanime su una scheda a White Plains, New York. Kline rappresenta Black Hole Jiu-Jitsu con sede a Wappingers Falls, New York.

“Vorrei ringraziare NEF per avermi dato l'opportunità di mostrare tutto il mio duro lavoro,”Ha detto Kline quando ha raggiunto per un commento. “Essendo che questo è il mio debutto lottare per l'organizzazione, Prometto di essere al top del mio gioco vieni Fight Night. NEF RETURNS TO LEWISTON ON SUPER BOWL WEEKEND WITH AN MMA SUPER CARD

Lewiston, Maine (Gennaio 19, 2018) – The night before the National Football League (NFL) delivers its 2017-2018 season finale, New England Combattimenti (NEF) will return to the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston for the first time in eight months as the fight promotion presents “NEF 32: Eccellente Sabato.” And while New England football fans will have to wait until this Sunday’s AFC championship game to find out whether their beloved Patriots will play in the Super Bowl, area mixed-martial-arts fans learned today which of their favorites will compete at “NEF 32” as promotion executives released the full fight card for the February 3rd evento.

 

 

Nel main event della serata, Bruce “Pretty Boy” Boyington (14-11) assume Taylor Trahan (7-8) at a catchweight of 150-pounds. One of the biggest MMA stars ever to come out of Maine, Boyington will make his return to the NEF cage after a two-year absence that saw him compete on the global stage in places like Russia and New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden. Trahan makes his third trip to Maine to compete. He is coming off a win over Connor Barry (3-2) lo scorso autunno.

 

 

Aaron “Implacabile” Lacey (4-1) affronta con Josh Parker (6-9) in un incontro piuma. Lacey suffered the first loss of his pro career in November when a fight he was arguably on the way to winning was stopped by a doctor due to a cut on Lacey’s head. Parker will look to continue his recent success in the MMA cage after recent victories over Andre Belcarris (0-2) e Derek Shorey (4-9).

 

 

CJ Ewer (3-0) is out to make history by becoming the first competitor to hold NEF championships simultaneously in multiple weight divisions. Ewer is the reigning NEF Pro Middleweight Champion. A “NEF 32,” he has the opportunity to capture the NEF Pro Welterweight Title when he meets Kemran Lachinov (5-2) for the vacant strap.

 

 

Also in professional welterweight action will be Microfono “Il Mustache” Hansen (5-8) e Jesse “The Viking” Erickson (9-7) in a fight billed as “The Berserker vs. The Viking.” Hansen and Erickson have developed a rivalry as coaches of local gyms Berserkers MMA and Central Maine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CMBJJ), rispettivamente.

 

 

Speaking of which, Nate Boucher (2-1), a product of CMBJJ, e Ryan Burgess (2-2) of Berserkers MMA will headline the amateur portion of the fight card. The flyweights, former teammates on the Mountain Valley High School wrestling squad, have engaged in a recent war of words heading into the bout. The winner will be in line for a shot at the amateur flyweight title later this spring.

 

 

2017 NEF “Rookie of the Year” Jayda “Lil Killah” Bastione (1-0) returns to the cage on February 3rd to meet Florida’s Amanda Gallo (0-1). Bailey made history in November at “NEF 31” by becoming the youngest competitor ever to compete, (and win), nella gabbia NEF. She turned 18, the legal age for competing in MMA in Maine, just a week prior to the event.
