WBA Super weltergewicht wereldkampioen Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara zal worden gooien van de ceremoniële eerste bal voordat morgen (Woensdag, Juni 10) nacht Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros spel bij het Amerikaanse. Cellular Field in Chicago.

 

Cubaanse boksen sensatie Lara (20-2-2, 12 KO) is het maken van de publiciteit rondes van de Windy City van tevoren van zijn Premier Boxing Champions strijd, live uitgezonden op Spike TV,deze vrijdag (Juni 12) tegen Delvin Rodriguez (28-7-4, 16 KO).

 

Woensdag Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros spel wordt live uitgezonden op WPWR-TV, kanaal 50 (UHF digitaal kanaal 51) en op de radio op WSCR 670 en WRTO 1200 in het Spaans.

 

32-jarige Lara heeft overwinningen gekerfd dan Alfredo Angulo, Austin Trout en Freddy Hernandez zijn hele carrière. Als amateur, Lara won vele titels, waaronder een nationaal kampioenschap in weltergewicht en ook deel aan de 2007 Pan-Am spellen. Oorspronkelijk uit Guantanamo, Cuba, maar uitvechten van Houston, Lara meest recent versloeg voormalig wereldkampioen Ishe Smith op weg naar zijn 20e professionele overwinning.

 

Ook gepland voor de tv-actie op vrijdag 's nachts is de Russische knock-out kunstenaar Artur Beterbiev (8-0, 8 KO), die is ingesteld op weg tegen Maryland Alexander Johnson (16-2, 7 KO).
