Michael Dutchover vs. Manuel Mendez Headline 3.2.1. Boxing Card on November 1st

ORANGE, SOOS (Oktober 1, 2020) - Thompson Boxing Promotions is pleased to present the newest installment of its successful boxing series 3.2.1 Boxing featuring three exciting-and-compelling bouts, live on Sunday, November 1st, 2020. The free stream will air on the Thompson Boxing Promotions website (www.thompsonboxing.com), as well as their Facebook en YouTube pages.


3.2.1. Boxing will take place at the Omega Products International Event
Center in Corona, SOOS, and will start at 4:00 namiddag. PT / 7:00 namiddag. EN.

Dutchover, who is coached and managed by Danny Zamora, has a high knockout ratio and is known for his all-out attack. His only loss came in a controversial stoppage during a match against Thomas Mattice in his hometown of Midland, TX, on a ShoBox main event back in 2019. In sy laaste bout, Dutchover bounced back by beating Jorge Marron Jr. by a wide-unanimous decision on the first 3.2.1 boxing card of the year.

Ruben Villa to take on Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO World Featherweight Title on Friday, 9 Oktober

PHILADELPHIA, PA/ / ORANGE, SOOS. (Sewe. 21, 2020) – Vrydagaand, 9 Oktober, undefeated WBO number-two ranked featherweight contender Ruben Villa (18-0, 5 Uitklophoue) gets his much deserved world title shot when he takes on former WBO super bantamweight world champion, and WBO number-one ranked contender, Emanuel Navarrete (32-1, 28 Uitklophoue), in a battle for the WBO World Featherweight title.


Navarrete is undefeated in the last eight-years, which spans 27 gevegte.


The fight will take place atThe Bubbleinside the MGM Grand Conference Center, and will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

Banner Promotions Signs Undefeated Heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez to a Co-Promotional Deal with United Promotions

Philadelphia, Pa. – Februarie 11, 2020 – Banner Promotions has signed undefeated heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez to a co-promotional deal with United Promotions.


Gutierrez, 27 years-old of Torreon Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexiko het 'n rekord van 12-0-1 met 10 uitklophoue.

Gutierrez was 220-20 as 'n amateur, and was a multi-time Mexican National champion, and was part of the Mexican National boxing team for two years. Gutierrez competed in the World Series of Boxing.


Gutierrez turned professional on September 9, 2011 with a 1st round stoppage over Misael Jossy Chavez. Gutierrez has established himself as a power puncher, and is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Jesus Alberto Martinez Torres on September 7th.

Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Uitklophoue) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Kalifornië. (November. 18, 2018) – Junior liggewig Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Uitklophoue) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 Uitklophoue) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Kalifornië.

 

 

 

Dutchover, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

 

 

 

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

 

 

 

In the third, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

 

 

 

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 merk.

 

 

 

I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promotions en Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. Brandon Adams dominates Shane Mosley Jr. to win The Contender championship

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(November 9, 2018)-Brandon Adams was dominant in pounding Shane Mosley Jr. over 10-rounds to win a wide unanimous decision and claim The Contender championship at the Forum in Inglewood, Kalifornië.

Banner Promotions signs undefeated Lightweight Mohamed Soumaoro

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(November 8, 2018)–Banner Promotions has signed it’s 2nd undefeated lightweight this week as the promotional company has signed Mohamed Soumaoro.

 

 

 

Die 25 year-old Soumaoro is out of Montreal, Canada by way of Conakry, Guinea and Havana, Kuba.

 

 

 

He has amassed a professional record of 6-0 met drie uitklophoue.

 

 

 

Growing up in Havana as a youth he enjoyed walking, playing soccer, going to school and learning. During this time he was introduced to karate and taekwondo. He did not pursue those sports because in 2008, he moved to Blainville, Quebec to live with his sister. It was while watching television that he discovered an interest in boxing.

 

 

 

After a 53-fight amateur career, he turned professional on April 8, 2017 with a 1st round stoppage over Antonio Vergara.

 

 

 

Soumaoro has continued his success as he has made two starts this year. In sy laaste bout, he stopped Ramon Urbina in one round on September 15th in Managua, Nicaragua.

 

 

 

He considers himself as a counterpuncher as he is heavily influenced by future Hall of Famer, Juan Manuel Marquez.

 

 

 

I started boxing at age 15 after watching fights on television. I started fighting a little bit in the streets when I was in Guinea,” said Soumaoro.

Banner Promotions signs undefeated Lightweight Golden Garcia

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(November 6, 2018)–Banner Promotions is proud to announce the signing of undefeated lightweight, Golden Garcia to a promotional contract.

 

 

 

Garcia, 30 years-old of Montreal, Kanada, het 'n rekord van 11-0-1 with six-knockouts.

 

 

 

Garcia began boxing at the age of 12 when he walked in to a gym to get in shape.

 

 

 

I got into a few scraps in the street, so it was nice to go to a place where fighting was allowed,” Said Garcia.

Banner Promotions signs former Olympian Naim Terbunja

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(November 6, 2018)–Banner Promotions is proud to announce the signing of former Olympian and current super middleweight Naim Terbunja.

 

 

 

Terbunja of Linkoping, Sweden by way of Pristina, Kosovo, represented Sweden in the 2008 Olimpiese Spele. He currently holds a professional record of 10-2-1 een uitklophou.

 

 

 

Die 34 year-old Terbunja began boxing at the age of 14, as he was a young soccer player looking to get stronger. Terbunja took up boxing, and fell in love with the sport.

 

 

 

That sparked an amateur career that saw him go 200-36. Terbunja fought all over the world for the Swedish National team, and then to the 2008 Olympics where he lost to Matt Korobov in the round of 36.

 

 

 

Terbunja moved to Long Island and spent part of his amateur career in the United States and captured the National Golden Gloves title in 2009 by defeating Luis Arias in the finals.

 

 

 

Terbunja turned professional on April 27, 2012 with a unanimous decision over Vladimir Spasojevic in Sweden. Terbunja has fought six times in Sweden and twice in Kosovo.

 

 

 

Terbunja has a 1st round stoppage over previously undefeated Joel De La Paz (7-0) Julie 23, 2016.

 

 

 

Terbunja is coming off a disputed draw with regarded Lanell Bellows on May 11th in Las Vegas.

Naim has a blue chip pedigree. He was an Olympian, and the bout he lost was close. He has had one bad fight at super middleweight. BRANDON ADAMS ADVANCES TO FINALS OF THE CONTENDER WITH DECISION OVER ERIC WALKER

 

ADAMS TO FACE SHANE MOSLEY JR. THIS FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE ON EPIX AT 10 PM ET

PHILADELPHIA / LOS ANGELES – November 6, 2018 – Brandon Adams won a majority decision over Eric Walker to advance to the final of The Contender on EPIX®.

 

 

 

Adams dropped Walker in round four with a hard right-left combination and came through the hard fought contest by scores of 49-45, 48-46 en 47-47.
