After formally announcing his May 19th world title fight against Adonis Stevenson in Toronto last week, the two-division world champion made headlines Thursday with the launch of his new nutrition supplement line entitled “Ripper Nutrition.” The special launch event was held at the American Nutritional Corporation complex in Las Vegas, where Ripper Nutrition was formulated, tested and made.

It was a steady 10 rounds of action, Theophane was able to break Amidu down with consistent jabs and body punches aiming consistently at his target, round after round. Amidu struggled to read Theophane, which ultimately led to Theophane to his 40th win, by way of unanimous decision.
“It feels great to have a career that’s lasted this long, he made it easy to stick to my game plan. I listened to my corner who guided me and kept me on track, I couldn’t be happier with the decision,” said Theophane.
“I knew he was going to be a good opponent, I didn’t perform my best,” says Amidu. “This fight should have been in my favor, but in the end the judges decided the winner.”
Leading up to the main event, was a fast-paced blow-by-blow welterweight exchange between Mayweather Promotions’ power-puncher Maurice Lee (7-1, 3 КО је) и Камерон Креал (9-12-2, 1 КО). As soon as the first bell rang Krael jumped out his corner quickly putting the pressure on Lee, while Lee searched to find his groove. I definitely could have thrown more punches. We both took a lot of punches in the end. This was a learning experience and I just gotta come back harder.”
The night began with a full Mayweather Promotions showcase serving back-to-back, non-stop undercard action. Newly signed lightweight amateur Роландо Ромеро (1-0, 1 КО)got the first win of his career in the first round, by TKO against David Courtney(1-5, 1КО) after only one minute and eleven seconds of action. Also making his Mayweather Promotions debut Oluwafemi “The Eagle” Oyeleye (1-0) got the first win of his career, by way of unanimous decision in a 4-round Jr. middleweight showdown against Brian True (1-5, 1 КО). Bogere will face Hylon Williams (16-3-1, 3КО је) in a 10-round lightweight battle on December 2НД at Sam’s Town Live in the main event. A win for Bogere will increase his win streak to seven and bring him one step closer to a title opportunity.

The 27-year-old won his first 23 pro fights while picking up victories over Raymundo Beltran, Francisco Contreras, and Manuel Levya. He enters this bout on a six-fight win streak and will be challenged by Hylon Williams fighting out of Las Vegas, НВ.
Originally from Houston, Williams now fights out of Las Vegas. He began his career in 2008 са 15-0 запис, until former two-division world champion Rances Barthlemy stopped him back in February 2012. From the second the bell rang it was non-stop action in the ring as Gavril and Brooker fought for the vacant NABF Super Middleweight title. Both fighters rolled out combination punches and uppercuts early in the rounds. Brooker fired off shots and Gavril was countering, neither fighter would let up. У 5

“The guy was very very tough, but I came back to win,” said Gavril. “I trained extremely hard with my team and they prepared my body for this fight. My endurance really got me through this fight. I have to say the knockdown in the 5th round got me to refocus and get my mental toughness in gear.”
“He wouldn’t let up, but that didn’t stop me from getting the title. I only had one goal coming into this fight, and I accomplished it, I am the new champion.”
“I was extremely upset with the decision,” said Brooker. “I go hard in every fight and this fight was no different. The judges had the scores as a draw so I feel like I was going to get robbed any way. There wasn’t a three knockdown rule, so I just didn’t understand why the judges called it so pre-maturely. “The judges should have let me continue fighting, this was a title fight, not a regular match. I definitely thought the knockdown in the fifth round put me ahead, but I guess I was wrong.
“I am looking to fight anyone, whoever and whenever the next opportunity is for me to fight, Ја ћу га узети. If possible, I want the re-match against Gavril.”
The co-main event featured a pair of welterweight prospects that produced an exciting matchup, ultimately leading to second round TKO after only 55 seconds by Memphis-born Ладариус Милер (12-1, 3 КОс) против Ronald Rivas (5-5-1 3 КОс).
“I am so happy with my performance,” said Miller. “I am getting better and better with each fight, and this fight proved that my hard work and consistency in the gym and with my team is working.”
“Simply put, I just wasn’t prepared like I should have been for this fight. He came out and proved to want it more than I did. I came in ready, trying to get comfortable, before I could adjust he came in with the punch.”
Sanjarbek “War” Rakhmanov (6-0, 3 КОс) kept his record in tact in a 6-round action-packed bout against then-undefeated Jonathan Dinong (5-1, 4 КОс). Both fighters kept the pressure on, but Rakhmanov proved to be the better fighter going the distance and getting the win.
Samuel Santana (8-11-3, 2 КОс) won by way of disqualification in a Super Lightweight showdown against Jose Vargas (6-1, 4 КОс), giving the young prospect his first loss. Mayweather Promotions opening bouts resulted in wins by both prospects as, Xavier Martinez (5-0 2 КОс) поражен Wilfredo Garriga (3-4-1 2 КОс) by unanimous decision in a six-round Super Featherweight match-up and Daniel Gonzalez (2-0) representing Las Vegas, NV stopped Sean Acosta (0-3-1) after four rounds of action winning by majority decision.

“I thought the fight was back and forth and I think the next four rounds would have been the same. No way should the fight have gotten stopped. It’s a shame the referee did that. I was telling the referee, ‘I’m okay, I’m okay.’ Then he waived it off. I don’t know what he was thinking.”
Broner and Mayweather, who promotes Theophane, have been engaged in a war of words throughout the promotion. Broner challenged the 11-time world champion immediately following his victory.
“I’m a man, but at the end of the day, somebody that I look up to, someone that I admire took the chance to do an interview and talk bad about me. I’m a man – Floyd has got to see me.
“I come from nothing. I’m talking about water and Cornflakes. And I would never let a man disrespect me like that. So you gotta see me. I don’t care if we’re sparring or if we’re fighting, let’s get it on.
Mayweather did not address the comments.

“I knew he was a strong opponent. He kept bouncing back and I actually thought he was going to get up at the end too. He is very experienced and I thank him for taking the fight. He brought out the best in me.
“There is always room to get better and better, but this is another step toward my dream. I’m happy with my performance and it is even more special to have done it where I made my pro debut, so close to home.
“I’m happy I could get this victory for my team, Floyd Mayweather and everyone that supports me.”
“We prepared really well and think we did well,” said Avila “The cut came from a head-butt which complicated the situation for me as it didn’t let me see properly from that point forward. But it is what it is -he won. He’s good, and he hits hard.
“I appreciate everyone who was supporting me and my team. This is not the end of my career. I’m young and this is the type of sport where you just have to bounce back. We’re going to move on with our head up. There’s no other choice.”
