Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th u Dallas, Teksas.
“I know he is a 2004 Olimpski. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.
“I always know that Philly is a great fight town. I actually want to see the park here “The Fresh Prince” was bullied at,” Lopez said laughingly.

Nakon toga borba propao mi je ponudio još jednu MMA borbu, po prvi put u HWT, s protivnikom koji je odbio da mi se boriti kao last minute zamjenu protiv njega na borbi je bio zakazan za. Nekoliko mjeseci kasnije me je pozvao da se sada žele boriti. Uzeo sam da je vrlo osobno pa sam otišao natrag u MMA boriti ga i pobijedio. Nakon toga sam počeo uzimajući puno ponuda za borbu na HWT u MMA, a od postaje 6 Vrijeme HWT prvak preko četiri različite promocije, Još uvijek želio ponovno boksati.”

Barrett osnovao tvrtku H.I.T.M. Promocije, koji stoje za povijest u izradi, jer je bio umoran od čekanja za priliku u boksu, i htjela bi ostali borci dalje svoje karijere.

“Ja sam žrtvovao toliko i posvetio sam toliko dugo da sam osjetio da je vrijeme da preuzmu kontrolu nad vlastitom sudbinom mog. “Bilo je teško bave sa svim telefonske pozive, e-mail, i planiranje, sve dok je pokušavao pripremiti za borbu.
