인디오, 같은 (10월 3, 2016) – 페트르 페트로프 (38-4-2, 19 KO의) earned a mandatory world title shot at the WBA Lightweight title with a stoppage after 6 rounds over Michael Perez in a scheduled 12 round bout at the Fantasy Springs Casino Resort in Indio, 캘리포니아.
라운드에서 2, Perez was bloodied over his right eye, and Petrov was cut on his forehead. 나중에 라운드에서, Petrov dropped Perez with a hard right to the head.
