VICTORY BOXING RESULTS FROM PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia – Januar 28, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicked off 2017 with a bang at 2300 Arena i South Philadelphia. Philly boxing fans were treated to seven fights featuring undefeated, world class talent, headlined by four-time National Amateur Champion Jaron “støvler” Ennis versus Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez.

Ennis remained undefeated when an early body shot brought Perez to his knees in the first round of their scheduled six round contest. Perez was unable to continue, and Ennis improved to 9-0, med 8 of his wins coming by knockout.

I co-main event, local boxer/cop Manny Folly sensationally knocked out Carlos Morgan (12-5, 6KO) i første runde, bringing his record to 9-0, 7KO.

Carlos “Den Tiburon” Sanchez (12-0, 11KO) was victorious in his 12th outing, stopping Somner Martin in the 3rd round. Coachella’s Brandun Lee (1-0, 1KO) won his debut over Indiana’s Christopher Johnson. Adam Daranyi was also successful in his ring return, knocking out Lenwood Dozier in the second round to improve to 10-0, 10KO.

Victory Boxing announced that it will return to 2300 Arena on March 31st, med “Philly Strong,” a card that will feature six-time National Champion Dylan Price, along with Victory Boxing’s Philly favorites, Jaron “støvler” Ennis, Manny “Major Pain” Folly, Joshua “Hands of Stone” Jones. Local Philadelphia favorites Angel Pizarro and Darren Goodall will also be in action.

Super Brawl: The Undefeated to feature elite prospects from Philadelphia and beyond

PHILADELPHIA – Januar 26, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions returns to 2300 Arena i Philadelphia tonight with an eight-bout card stacked with elite, undefeated prospects. It is the first of three events that Victory Boxing has on the books at the storied arena in 2017. I main event, Jaron “støvler” Ennis (8-0, 7KO) faces Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez (28-16-4, 19KO) in a six-round bout at welterweight.

It’s a step up in competition for Ennis, who beat Marcus Bedford via sixth round technical knockout in December. “We are moving Boots very fast,” Victory Boxing Promotions Founder and Promoter said of the young talent, who began his pro career last April with four national amateur championships and two of Philadelphia’s famed Briscoe Awards under his belt. “Boots is the real deal, and we’re going to see how he fares against a much more experienced opponent på lørdag.”

I co-main event, boxer-cop Manny Folly (8-0, 6KO) ansigter Mexicos Carlos Morgan (12-4, 6KO) in a six round bout. The bantamweight impressed crowds in November with a first round knockout over the more experienced Tibor Nadori. The young talent splits his time between boxing and policing the rough North Philadelphia neighborhood in which he grew up. Another hot Philadelphia prospect, Joshua Jones (3-0-1, 2KO), will step into the ring in his hometown versus an as yet to be determined foe. Local prospect Darren Goodall (3-0, 2KO) kicks off the Philadelphia action in a four-round, super middleweight bout versus Gary Hudson Jr. (debut). Six-foot Philly featherweight Don Smith (3-0, 2KO) is also in action versus Indiana’s Chris Nelson.

Også på kortet, Victory Boxing’s busiest prospect, Mexican Junior Welterweight Carlos Sanchez (11-0, 10KO), who fought eleven times in 2016 including his January debut, faces Virginia’s Somner Martin (6-3, 4KO). Canadian knockout artist Adam Daranyi (9-0, 9KO) returns to the ring for the first time since July of last year to face experienced Maryland fighter Lenwood Dozier (12-15-2, 5KO).

Victory Boxing Promotions will debut two exciting new professionals på lørdag. Coachella welterweight Brandun Lee will embark on his professional career after a stellar amateur career that included three National Golden Gloves titles. Pasadena, Californiens Christian Camarena also makes his debut at lightweight.

PHILADELPHIA – December 27, 2016 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicks off 2017 med “Super Brawl,” a ten-bout card featuring world class talent from Philadelphia and beyond, Lørdag, January 28th på 2300 Arena in South Philly.
Jaron Ennis (8-0, 7KO) will showcase his talents at welterweight in his ninth fight since his professional debut in April of last year. Ennis, who took home his second Briscoe Award earlier this year for his outstanding amateur career, delivered a phenomenal performance in his sixth round stoppage of Marucs Beckford (3-5-3, 1KO) earlier this month. The Ennis family has deep roots in the Philadelphia boxing scene. The 19-year-old is trained by his father and former professional boxer, Derrick “bozy” Ennis, and is the younger brother of Derrick “Pooh” Ennis and Farah Ennis, who were themselves accomplished professional boxers.

Another Philadelphia favorite, super bantamvægt Manny “Major Pain” Folly (8-0, 6KO), continues his quest to remain undefeated, while setting an example for the kids in his community. The Philadelphia Police Officer splits his time between training for boxing and protecting his community and fellow Philadelphia residents. He turned heads in his last fight, a first round knockout win over Hungarian Tibor Nadori (9-7-1, 4KO) i november.

Philadelphia super lightweight Joshua “Hands of Stone” Jones (3-0-1, 2KO) returns in his first fight since winning a wide unanimous decision over South Carolina’s Corey Edwards (2-2, 1KO) at Victory Boxing’s November card at 2300 Arena.

Elite talent, and incredibly hard-hitting Canadian prospect Adam Daranyi (9-0, 9KO), looks to continue his perfect run in a six round bout at super welterweight. Mexican super lightweight Carlos Sanchez, who racked up an 11-0 rekord i 11 måneder i 2016, makes his first appearance in the City of Brotherly Love. UK talent Donovan Cameron (4-0, 4KO) also steps into the ring on January 28th i en super weltervægt Bout.

Fishgold and Boussif set for Lightweight title challenge

Chris Fishgold (14-1-1) will clash with Adam Boussif (9-3) to contest the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship’s vacant lightweight title at CWFC 77 next month.

The tussle will take place at the Camden Centre in London on July 8; the main card will stream on UFC Fight Pass and will also feature the headline bout for the middleweight title between Jack Marshman (19-5) and Christopher Jacquelin (8-2).

Chris Fishgold is a top ten-ranked domestic lightweight who is an aggressive grappler with a punishing top game. Hailing from Liverpool and training under Paul Rimmer who is also coach to Paddy Pimblett he boasts 12 wins by stoppage – two TKOs and ten submissions.

På bare 24 år, Fishgold is a veteran of the European MMA scene having made his is pro debut in March 2010 clocking up a 10-0 record in four years with three CWFC wins against Steve O’Keefe (CWFC 52), Marcin Wrzosek (CWFC 57), Olivier Pastor(CWFC 62).

An 18-month break from the domestic scene followed due to injury and then a brief spell in Thailand at Phuket Top Team. While in Asia, an under par Fishgold recorded his first loss against Gi Bum Moon by decision in Korea. On his return to the UK he fought Ryan Roddy in an entertaining contest, which was scored a draw. Now Fishgold is riding a four-fight winning streak – his most recent, en 64 second submission at CWFC 75 in April against Jordan Miller.

"I can’t wait to be the Cage Warriors lightweight champion," Fishgold said. “It’s an honour to fight for the belt. I’m looking forward to showing my ever improving skill set.”

Adam “Boa” Boussif has clocked up a five-fight winning streak in the space of 16 months and like his opponent is an accomplished finisher with all of his nine victories coming via stoppage – seven submissions and two TKOs.

The 27-year-old Brit comes to this fight as the underdog but will have a noticeable size advantage – not only is he 6’0 to Fishgold’s 5’8 he has spent part of his career at welterweight although his most recent victory was at lightweight.

Boussif was based at Force MMA but in April 2016 travelled to Thailand and won a one-year sponsored scholarship to train and live at Tiger Muay Thai and be a part of the in-house Fight Team. A month later, as part of their team he traveled to Seoul, Korea where he defeated Jung Min Kang by rear-naked choke in the 2nd round of their bout at Top FC 11.

Boussif who is from Hertfordshire, England said, "Cage warriors has been a great platform for fighters to showcase their skills to a wider audience. I’ve been putting in the work, which will show when I become the Cage Warriors lightweight champion.”

Fishgold and Boussif will be vying for the title that was vacated by Stevie Ray before his move to the UFC

Men, Adam Boussif has a lot of potential and will enter the challenge with a size advantage and will be looking to show why he landed a fight scholarship overseas.”
