NEF ANNOUNCES FIGHT CARD FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE DEBUT, FIRST PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT

PENTRU DIFUZARE: Milford, New Hampshire (August 13, 2021) - Lupte New England (NEF) returns with its next event, "NEF 44: Back in Black,” on August 21, 2021, at the Hampshire Dome in Milford, New Hampshire. The show will feature both mixed-martial-arts (MMA) and kickboxing fights. Earlier today, NEF announced the full fight card for the event which will be the promotion’s first since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and its first foray into the Granite State.

On the professional portion of the card, Glory Watson (0-1) șiRebecca Bryggman(0-1) will both seek their respective first pro victories in a women’s strawweight contest. Watson, a former NEF amateur flyweight champion, lost her pro debut earlier this year in Florida. Likewise, Bryggman came up short in her professional debut at Bellator 231 în toamna anului 2019.

Also featured on the amateur card will be a long-awaited rematch betweenCaleb Austin (4-0) șiJames Ploss(1-2) in the 125-pound flyweight division. Their first bout, won by Austin in April 2017 at “NEF 28,” was mired in controversy and received national attention on social media.

Evenimentul, intitulat „NEF 43: Ieșire violentă,”Va avea loc sâmbătă, Aprilie 18, 2020, cu un clopot de 7 pm EDT. Mai devreme astazi, promovarea luptei a anunțat adăugarea unui card profesionist cu greutatea pană la carte.Carl Langston (0-5) este programat să se întâlneascăAaron „Short Fuse” Hughes(0-0) la o greutate de luptă de 145 de lire sterline.

Carl Langston intră în luptă în căutarea primei victorii care l-au evitat până acum în cariera sa profesională. Luna trecuta, Langston l-a luat pe Jacob Deppmeyer (1-0) în Portland, Maine la „NEF 42”, pierzând prin eliminarea tehnică din prima rundă. A fost prima lui luptă cu promovarea de când și-a pierdut debutul profesionist în aprilie 2018. Langston, un practicant de-o viață al Taekwondo, reprezintă în prezent MMA-ul lui Young cu sediul în Bangor din apropiere, Maine.

„A fost greu să mă lupt cu totul, dar cu atât mai mult în starea mea natală,”A remarcat Langston.  "Asa de, cu această ultimă pierdere nu credeam că o să mă mai lupt puțin. Am intrat în capul meu și am spus că vreau să nu mai lupt puțin, dar când am primit apelul la trei săptămâni după pierdere, Nu aș putea să spun că nu. De asta am nevoie, lupte spate-în-spate. Trebuie doar să apar ca și cum aș apărea la sală și voi ridica mâna fără îndoială. ”

Aaron Hughes își va face debutul atât profesional, cât și promoțional cu NEF. A avut o carieră de amator foarte activă de la debutul său în 2015, punând împreună o înregistrare a 4-6 în timp ce concura pe cărți de luptă în statul său natal, Massachusetts. Hughes reprezintă Centrul de Instruire al Regimentului din Fall River, Massachusetts, unde se antrenează alături de actualul star UFC și fostul campion NEF Professional Cruiserweight Yorgan De Castro (6-0).
