ANOTHER ONE IN THE BOOKS-THE FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. FOUNDATION’S 3RD ANNUAL FIGHT-4-FITNESS 5K RUN, 2K WALK, Ana zosangalatsa Thawani & COMMUNITY DAY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!

Las Vegas (March 16, 2017) The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation (TFMJF) successfully held their 3Rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K RUN, 2K WALK, Ana zosangalatsa Thawani, & Community Tsiku ichi kale Sunday, at Sunset Park. The goal each year for Fight-4-Fitness is to support the movement toward more active and healthy lifestyles, while forming community alliances where awareness and empowerment serve as the nucleus for an improved quality of life.
It was important that we put together an event promoting health and fitness awareness and that we got the families involved,” Nicole anati Craig, President of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation.
Fight-4-Fitness followed its tradition and was kicked off with the 5K race and 2K walk, shortly after, kids lined up at the start line to begin the KIDS FUN RUN. 5K participants were awarded by gender and age group categories 1St kudzera 3Rd place, while all kids participating in the KIDS FUN RUN were awarded with a participation medal upon crossing the finish line. Children ages 12 and under had the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt, where they were challenged to find items hid throughout the park, ndi 1St-3Rd winning group were presented with great prizes from contributing sponsors: Mayweather Zokwezedwa, TMT, GameWorks Las Vegas, and Pole Position.
Immediately following the races was the 3Rd Annual Community Day to close the event. Community Day featured outstanding live performances from Las Vegasvery own Prodigy Dance Group and The Monster Kids. Providing music throughout the event was Las Vegas resident DJ, D-Miles, while HOT 97.5’s Mike P emcee’d the event and kept the crowd entertained. Participants were chosen throughout the event winning prizes ranging from: gift cards, signed boxing gloves, merchandise packs, and a 50/50 cash prize!
A new addition to this year’s event was awarding local Las Vegas Track Clubs with a cash donation prize based on the number of registrants who signed up for their respective club. The first place was awarded to The BG Gators track club, second place went to Vegas Stealth, and coming in third place was the SW Stallions .

THE Floyd MAYWEATHER JR. FOUNDATION PRESENTS THE 3rdANNUAL “KADUKA 4 Olimba” 5K RUN, 2K WALK, Ana zosangalatsa Thawani & COMMUNITY DAY SUNDAY, MARCH 12TH AT SUNSET PARK IN LAS VEGAS

Las Vegas (March. 7, 2017) The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation’s (TFMJF) 3Rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K Run, 2K Walk, Kids Kupita Kokasangalala Thamanga, and Community Day is scheduled for this Sunday, March 12TH pa dzuwa litalowa Park ku Las Vegas.
Chaka chino, The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation, plans to unite runners and families within the Las Vegas community and surrounding communities in with a day filled with events geared toward the whole family. The festivities will start off with a 5K race and 2K walk, the Kids Fun Run will follow with Community Day serving as the last event of the day. The races are followed by an awards ceremony honoring the top 5K Race participants in each age category.
Fight-4-Fitness will also feature great healthy food options, vendors, a merchandise booth, kids scavenger hunt, live performances, physical activities geared toward fitness and fun, PLUS MORE! Comedian & wailesi umunthu, Mike P, will host this year’s event while the event also features performances by DJ D. Miles, The Monster Kids, Prodigy Dance Group, and appearances from several Mayweather Promotionsboxing stars: Badou Jack, J'Leon Chikondi, Alexis Santiago, Kevin Newman, Charvis Holifield, ndi zambiri!

Fight-4-Fitness is a movement toward good health through the possibilities of change that can enhance one’s own life and the lives of those around them. Participating in the Fight-4-Fitness event can be the catalyst needed to create a vigorous, okondwa, ndi thanzi Las Vegas ammudzi. This unique experience invites all members of the community to run/walk independently or with friends, banja, ndipo akuntchito.

  • 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Participant registration/check-in
  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.Kids Scavenger Hunt
  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.5K Run & 2K Walk
  • 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.Kids Kupita Kokasangalala Thamanga
  • 11:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.Mwambo wopereka mphoto zosiyanasiyana
  • 11:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.Community Tsiku
Registration dates and fees are listed below:
  • March 1St– March 10TH: $45 5K/ $35 2K/ $15 Kids Fun Run/ $20 Community Tsiku
  • Tsiku lomwelo Kulembetsa: $60 5K/ $50 2K/ $20 Kids Fun Run/ $20 Community Tsiku
The 3rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K Race, 2K Walk, Ana zosangalatsa Thawani, & Community Tsiku sponsors to date include: Mayweather Zokwezedwa, The Money Team, Mayweather Sports, NTHAWI YACHIWONETSERO, and Greenspun Media Group. Chaka chino, a portion of registration proceeds will go toward local Las Vegas track teams, and the top 3 track teams with the highest registration participation will also be presented with a cash prize for their respective teams. First place winners will receive a donation of $5,000, 2nd place will receive a donation of $3,000 ndi 3Rd place team will receive a donation of $2,000.
