“Ik geef Chris veel lof. Hij kwam veel meer naar voren dan we dachten dat hij zou doen en hij had een grote kin vanavond.

 

“Chris heeft alles gegeven vanavond. Dit is de beste Algieri die we in lange tijd hebben gezien, en als hij Manny had bevochten (Pacquiao) op die manier had hij kunnen winnen.

Memphis, Tennessee ( Mei 29, 2015)— VANAVOND at the W.C. Handy Pavilion in Memphis, Tennessee, undefeated Super Middleweight, Boortoren “Take it to the Bank” Webster will make his first start of 2015 when he takes on William Johnson in a six-round bout that is part of a card that will be televised live on CBS Sports Network.
Webster is promoted by GH3 Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions.
Webster van Glassboro, New Jersey heeft een record van 18-0 met 9 knockouts and has not been sitting idle during the six months he has not been in the ring.
“Training is geweldig. We had some dates moved on us, so we stayed at home for camp. We used a lot of different sparring partners and I have a new strength and conditioning coach. I did a lot of new things such as running the bleachers, some great ab work as well, ” said Webster.
Webster has been no stranger to layoffs as guys are not running fast to face the 6’4″ inch southpaw who has displayed good boxing ability and power.
“It frustrates me but I have been dealing with it my whole career. I know I should be a lot further along but now I have promoters and managers (D & D Management) that should help ease that problem. Dus met dat in het achterhoofd, I can’t wait to see what is to come.”
In Johnson, Webster is fighting a guy with a pedestrian record but that was not by choice.

AROMAS, ZOALS(Mei 28, 2015)- Four-Division world champion, “Robert “The Ghost” Krijger (32-3-1, 18 KO) hosted a media workout yesterday at the CrossFit Ranch to shed light on his upcoming fight with Aron Martinez. The 10-round main-event bout will take place at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Juni 6, 2015 and will air live on NBC starting at 3:00 p.m. EN/12:00 p.m. PT.

 

Krijger, who won the hearts of America with his gut wrenching performance against Keith Thurman in his last fight, is looking forward to another main-event attraction where he can showcase his entertaining fighting style to the fans.

 

“All the hard training is done and now it’s time to zone in,” zei Robert Guerrero. “Everyone should be watching the PBC on NBC June 6thbecause I believe this is going to be a crowd-pleasing fight. Aron Martinez is not coming to lay down. He’s had plenty of time to prepare for this fight and I’m expecting him to come out guns blazing. Eén ding is zeker, I’m going to be throwing some hard shots right from the opening bell. My goal is to bring an entertaining fight to the fans and let my hands go. Fight night can’t come soon enough.”

 

Headlining his second PBC on NBC, Guerrero wants continue fighting on a regular basis. Known for being an all-out action fighter, Guerrero feels he can close out the rest of 2015 met een knal.

 

“I can’t emphasize how important it is for me to be fighting back to back in just a couple of months,” Guerrero continued. “Staying active is crucial to any fighter. The more you fight the better you perform and I can feel the improvement in my whole fighting style. Ennis, who was last seen dropping a 10-round unanimous decision to new WBC Super Middleweight champion Badou Jack, is looking to get back into contention with a big outing over the veteran from Ghana.
“Training is goed geweest. I only know that Gbenga is from Ghana,” said Ennis.
After what Ennis admitted was a lackluster performance against Jack, he needed some time away from the sport in order to get himself back on track.
“I took the time off to get my mind together. In that fight I didn’t let my hands go. I was thinking too much and I know I could have beat him. It just wasn’t my night.”
Ennis also took the time off to get into some training camps and improve on his own game.
“I was in camp with David Lemieux for when he fought Gabriel Rosado. It was during that time I got my head back and now is where I need to be. I need to go out and listen to my dad (Trainer Bozy Ennis). I am in 32 Nu jaar oud. Dit is het. It is either all or nothing.”

Lewiston, Maine (Mei 29, 2015) - New England Fights (NEF), Amerika's nummer een regionale strijd promotie, will hold its eighteenth mixed-martial-arts (MMA) evenement, “NEF XVIII: GEMAAKT IN AMERIKA,” op Zaterdag, Juni 13, 2015 op de Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine. Eerder vandaag, het bevorderen kondigde de toevoeging van een professionele licht-zwaargewicht gevecht aan de strijd kaart. A native of Rumford, Maine, Hansen won a state championship in 2004 wrestling for Mountain Valley High School. After graduation, Hansen began training in MMA and made a successful debut in 2005. He would put his MMA career on hold to serve his country in the United States Army as a combat engineer. Eerder dit jaar, Hansen returned to the sport and founded Berserkers MMA in his hometown of Rumford. His first fight in the cage in nearly a decade saw him triumph over Artie Mullen (0-11) this past February at “NEF XVI.”

 

“I’m pumped to be have an opponent like Cody,” said Hansen of the upcoming fight with Anderson. “He is a real tough guy and this should be a great battle.”

 

Cody Anderson is a member of Team Triumph/Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) in Nashua, New Hampshire. Formerly a top-ranked amateur, Anderson put together a perfect 5-0 record over the course of his amateur career. He turned pro in the fall of 2012, winning his debut over Hector Sanchez (3-12). Anderson’s last appearance in NEF saw him submitted in the final moments of his bout with Jarod “Laatste Minuut” Lawton (4-2) bij “NEF VII” twee jaar geleden. Anderson had been winning the bout to that point, turning in a “bestrijden van de nacht” performance along with his opponent.

 

“I’ve been away too long,” said Anderson. “Even with no fight camp and only two weeks notice, I will put my hands on this guy and put him to sleep.”

He has previously been in with current WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder as well as Jordan Shimmell, Ali Mansour and Charles Martin.
“Mijn training is uitstekend. Ik voel me geweldig. I know what I have going against me,” said McCreary.
In Miller, McCreary will be facing a guy who stands about 6’4″ and checks in around 260 lbs. McCreary has been preparing for that with regular sparring against huge men.
“I know he is a big guy. I been sparring with guys who stand about 6’8″ en 6’9″. I know Miller is young, hungry and a puncher. His skills are OK but he hasn’t fought at the level I have been at.”
McCreary has been a pro since 1998 and he feels that could be a big factor in his favor.
“My experience is a huge factor. I know up until the last couple years that he has been an MMA fighter. I just hope he doesn’t kick me or put me in a headlock.” quipped McCreary.
Despite being 41 jaar oud, McCreary is confident that a win in New York will catapult him into some great opportunities.
“I have a few years left in me. This win will get me a bigger fight. It is great to fight in New York. I have fought in Los Angeles and Chicago but I have to treat this as just another fight.”
Because of the his past opponents, McCreary is giving himself a great shot to pull the upset.
“I am from Detroit. I am a soldier who won’t back down and I am coming to win. By the grace of god, I can pull the upset and further my career.”

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusland (Mei 28, 2015) – Populaire M-1 Middeleeuwse riddervechters met volledig contact keren terug in juni 6 in Ingoesjetië, Rusland bij M-1 Challenge 58: Strijd in de bergen 4.

 

Zesvoudig wereldkampioen Evgeny Gladkov (2-0-0) en tweevoudig CIS-medaillewinnaar en Russisch kampioen Maxim Plaksin (0-1-0) zal worden gekleed in middeleeuws krijgerpantser, vechten tegen elkaar met replica's van middeleeuwse wapens met een stompe rand
