Three World Champions Capture top honors in 2015 Russian MMA Super Cup

FLORES DETERMINED TO DETHRONE UCHIYAMA
LEON, NICARAGUA (Dezembro 10, 2015) – WBA #7 rated super-featherweight contender, Oliver Flores (27-1-2, 17 PREÇOS), is eager to show the world he is capable of dethroning WBA world champion Takashi Uchiyama (23-0-1, 19 KOs). MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT ADDED TO NEF 21 CARTÃO DE LUTA

That evening, Elkins made short work of the northeast’s then-top ranked amateur middleweight Buck Pineau (1-2), scoring a first-round TKO. Elkins was ranked nationally as an amateur, and he held the ISCF Florida State Middleweight Championship for over a year. He lost his professional debut in the fall of 2014, and now Elkins is looking to pick up the first win of his pro career.

“Andy Lee is a tough fighter – he’s proved that by becoming world champion and having the type of career he has had. But I’m undefeated and hungry and know that I’m on the brink of fulfilling a childhood dream. I’m not going to leave that ring without the title.
“Training in Spain allows me to lock myself away from all distractions and focus solely on the fight. It’s hard being away from home, but it’s all part of boxing. It’s been a long camp, a tough camp, but after that I know that I’m ready to go through hell to make sure that I’m successful come fight night.
“The middleweight division is one of the hottest around and I’m prepared to fight any of the other champions in there once I win the title.
"Danny Jacobs had a great win against Peter Quillin, and then there is Canelo (Alvarez) e (Gennady) Golovkin. I know the importance of this fight for the division and I want my name to be among the very best. I’m taking it one step at a time, but I’m open to fight anyone.
“There has been no trash talk with Andy because we know what each person is about. We share a similar background and neither of us is going to take a back step.
“This is going to be a very exciting all-action fight because we’re going to leave it all in the ring. I know I have the skills to beat him and I intend to show the world why I’m among the best around.”
Saunders on fellow Brit Chris Eubank Jr.:

M-1 Global signs Heavyweight Alexander Volkov Volkov vs. Smoldarev M-1 Challenge heavyweight title fight M-1 Challenge 64, Fevereiro. 19 em Moscou
 ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Dezembro 15, 2015) – M-1 Global has announced its signing of Russian heavyweight sensation Alexander “Drago” Volkov (24-6-0, M-1: 8-3-0) a um contrato de exclusividade promocional.Volkov will battle Denis Smoldarev (11-1-0, M-1: 7-1-0) Fevereiro 19 for the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship at M-1 Desafio 64 em Moscou, Rússia.
The 27-year-old puncher from Moscow returns to the organization in which he made his professional mixed-martial-arts debut April 19, 2009, needing only 80-seconds to stop Nikolay Pleshokov in the second stage of the M-1 Challenge 2009. Volkov went on to capture top honors in the finals of the M-1 Desafio 2009, derrotando Ibragim Magomedov for the Russian Team Championships.
A 6′ 7″, 235-pound Volkov fought under the M-1 Global banner for the next two years, highlighted November 20, 2011 by his opening round punch-out of em frente 20,000 fans at M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson.
Naquele ponto, Volkov had won 14 de 17 pro MMA fights and the popular Russian fighter opened 2012 with an impressive decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez.

Contudo, Volkov rebounded with three straight wins in the Bellator Season 10 Heavyweight Tournament, defeating Bulgarian great Blaygoy Ivanov in the final by way of a second-round rear-naked choke hold. Ivanov is best known, talvez, for defeating living legend Fedor Emelianenko in the semifinals on his way to winning the 2008 World Sambo Championships.
Feared as one of the most prolific strikers in MMA today, 17 of Volkov’s 24 overall victims to date were knocked out.
