FLORES DETERMINED TO DETHRONE UCHIYAMA
LEON, NICARAGUA (December 10, 2015) – WBA #7 rated super-featherweight contender, Oliver Flores (27-1-2, 17 PRIJZEN), is eager to show the world he is capable of dethroning WBA world champion Takashi Uchiyama (23-0-1, 19 KO). The championship fight between Uchiyama and Flores is set to take place on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2015 at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
Gepromoot door Havoc Boxing Promotions, Flores is currently riding a 4-fight winning streak, with his last fight ending by way of knockout. With the WBA super-featherweight world title on the line, Flores feels he’s destined to bring home the title to his countrymen of Nicaragua.

MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT ADDED TO NEF 21 Strijd kaart

Zach Elkins is no stranger to the NEF fans. A member of Team Riot in Orange Park, Florida, Elkins appeared previously for the fight promotion headlining the amateur portion of the “NEF XIII” fight card in the spring of 2014. “The weather is warm out here in Florida, and John David Jackson is doing a great job as my new trainer. He’s a man that knows the fight game being that he was a fighter himself, a former world champion to be exact. The little things he’s showing me are making a big difference. I was happy that my promoter Gary Shaw came out to visit and see the progress I have made. We’re out here doing it. I believe I’ve become a better fighter, and it will show come fight night.
“This is a big fight for the heavyweight division. The interim WBA World heavyweight title is on the line. The winner will move on to bigger and better things. Everyone says he has a lot of power but his opposition is suspect. He’s a big slugger and I’m a boxer that gives a lot of movement. I believe I’m the one with the better skills and better pro experience. I’m winning this fight.
“I think it’s great. The sport needs to keep its integrity. Ortiz is a good fighter but he’s already shown that he has some insecurities. When a fighter gets caught cheating while using steroids to get an edge says a lot about that person. He paid his dues and now it’s time to fight. With VADA testing installed for this fight, everyone will be on an even playing field.

However for this fight I added another layer to that. I focus on proving to everyone that I still have what it takes to make it to the top.

M-1 Global signs Heavyweight Alexander Volkov Volkov vs. Smoldarev M-1 Challenge heavyweight title fight M-1 Challenge 64, Februari. 19 in Moskou
 ST. PETERSBURG, Rusland (December 15, 2015) – M-1 Global has announced its signing of Russian heavyweight sensation Alexander “Drago” Volkov (24-6-0, M-1: 8-3-0) een exclusieve promotie-contract.Volkov will battle Denis Smoldarev (11-1-0, M-1: 7-1-0) Februari 19 for the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship at M-1 Challenge 64 in Moskou, Rusland.
The 27-year-old puncher from Moscow returns to the organization in which he made his professional mixed-martial-arts debut April 19, 2009, needing only 80-seconds to stop Nikolay Pleshokov in the second stage of the M-1 Challenge 2009. Volkov went on to capture top honors in the finals of the M-1 Challenge 2009, verslaan Ibragim Magomedov for the Russian Team Championships.
