EL TORNEO COMIENZA CON JACKSON VS "RAMPA". CHAEL SONNEN ENBELLATOR 192 EN LA ON ENE. 20

LOS ANGELES –El soporte para el Gran Premio Mundial Bellator MMA 2018 Torneo de peso pesado se ha establecido.

 

En Bellator 192: Lima vs. MacDonald en Enero 20, 2018 en el foro en Los Ángeles, el torneo comenzará con el ex campeón Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (37-12) enfrentarse a un famoso hablador de basura Chael Sonnen (30-15-1) en un emocionante enfrentamiento de primera ronda. COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO (Noviembre 28, 2017) – Tras un año de eventos nacionales altamente competitivos, boxeadores aficionados de Estados Unidos están listos para competir en el 2017 Campeonato Nacional de Boxeo Elite EE.UU., Diciembre 5-9, en Salt Lake City, Utah.
Con hasta seis puntos en cada división ya asegurados, basado en los resultados de la 2016 Campeonato Nacional de élite, 2017 Elite Calificador occidental y 2017 Elite Calificador del Este, los puntos restantes se han llenado basado en el proceso de solicitud de comodín para completar el campo de los boxeadores de élite.
Un total de 88 boxeadores aplicadas para una calificación comodín con 35 las asignaciones otorgadas a finalizar los soportes Campeonatos Nacionales Elite.

Filadelfia, Pensilvania (Noviembre 27, 2017) – Superwelter Tyrone Brunson is looking for a major opportunity in 2018.

PARK CITY, Kansas (Noviembre 27, 2017) – Due to an injury suffered by 2016 medallista de bronce olímpico Nico Hernandez last week at training camp, este sábado noche de “KO Noche de Boxeo: Oro & Gloria” tarjeta, presented by KO Night Boxing LLC, has been postponed until Febrero 10, en el mismo lugar, Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.

The promoter plans to keep the card intact, as much as possible, and he is hopeful that Ajtai is available to challenge Hernandez for the IBA Americas title.
“Injuries are an unfortunate part of boxing, but the good news is that Nico will be 100-percent ready to go February 10º,” promotor John Andersen dicho. “I know that Nico feels that he’s letting everybody down but, al final del día, all that really counts is his health. He’s a tough kid who has his entire pro career ahead of him.”
“Over the last six months, Nico has become like family to the Hartman Arena staff,” said Hartman Arena Executive Director, Ben Bolander. “We wish the best for him and hope for a speedy recovery, so we can see him back here in February fighting for the title.”
TIckets to the December 2nd event will still be honored at the Febrero 10 evento. If ticket holders, are unable to attend the new event date, full refunds will be offered at the point of purchase. Tickets will remain on sale for the Febrero 10, 2018 event date.

Sampson Lewkowicz proudly announces that budding superstar, and WBC World Super Middleweight Champion, David “El Bandera Roja / Red Flag” Benavidez has renewed his exclusive Sampson Boxing promotional agreement.
20-year-old Benavidez (19-0, 17 KOs), became the youngest super middleweight world champion in boxing history by winning a split decision over Romania’s Ronald Gavril last September. The Phoenix-based slugger says he’s happy to continue his promotional relationship with Lewkowicz.
“Sampson is a great promoter and he’s done a lot for me,” Said Benavidez. “He’s always treated me and my team with respect and I was eager to re-sign with him. I can’t wait to defend my title against the best and become the great fighter I am with Sampson on my team.”
Father, co-manager and trainer Jose Benavidez says signing with Sampson was an easy decision for Team Benavidez.
“We are all really happy and excited,” él dijo. “We started with Sampson and he’s done a tremendous job. We are super satisfied with what he’s done and where we are at. We didn’t even think twice about it. I think when this contract ends, we’ll sign another one with him.”

Isamary Aquino Brings Home Bronze Medal

GUWAHATI, India (Noviembre 26, 2017) — Coachella, Nativo de California Citlalli Ortiz closed out her impressive 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships campaign with a split decision victory over Russia’s Nataliya Sychugova to take her first major international title in Guwahati, India.
“Today feels like one of the best days of my life,” stated Ortiz following her win. “Después de la pelea, I doubted myself, but I am extremely happy I pulled out the win and it feels amazing being a world champion.”
Ortiz gold medal closes out a strong showing from the young American delegation. Team USA’s other medal, a bronze, was won yesterday by Isamary Aquino of Universal City, Texas.
“I am extremely proud of my performance at my first international tournament,” said Aquino following her medal ceremony. “It was an honor to be able to represent Team USA and bring home a world championship medal.”
The remaining members of the team included: Aidyl Cardenas (Calexico, Calif.),Diana Estrada (Hillsboro, Oregón), cielo García (El Monte, Calif.), Roma Martinez (Humilde, Texas), Sharahaya Moreu (Albuquerque, N.M.) y Amy Salinas(Las Cruces, N.m).
This year’s Youth World Championships brought 160 of the world’s top youth female boxers from 36 different countries all vying for one of the 10 world titles up for grabs. Entrenador Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and assistant coaches Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.) y Jeff Mays (San Antonio, Texas) guided Team USA throughout these championships. The boxers and staff of USA Boxing will begin their journey back home to the United States mañana.
