The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, MA量級 Kenny Larson (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.

(Greater Lowell) heavyweight final rematch, due to a round-time issue, Methuen’s Jesus Flores (Canal Street Boxing) defeated Haverhill’s John Roche (Haverhill Downtown Boxing) by the same score as their original match in another thrilling, back-and-forth bout ending a in three-round decision (5-0). The crosstown rivalry between the two gyms and boxers led up to another compelling match with Flores qualifying for 星期三 night’s open class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions.

The New England Tournament of Champions open class semifinals and finals will be held next Wednesday 和 星期四evenings, 分別, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

The Outstanding New England Boxer in the novice class will be presented to the winner 本週三 night at the N.E. open semifinals.
